County supervisor Rob Brown was involved in a Tuesday evening vehicle crash in Lakeport that temporarily closed the roadway after authorities say he appeared to have run a red light. The CHP said Elisa McCracken was making a left hand turn from the left turn lane onto Highway 175 when, for reasons still under investigation, Brown failed to stop at a solid red light and proceeded into the intersection. McCracken was extricated from the Toyota by medical personnel and transported to Sutter Lakeside Hospital, according to the CHP. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash. The CHP said the crash remains under investigation by Officer Troy Burger.

One would suspect Rob had other things on his mind while running the red light:

Maybe it was the fact his wife left him, or his kids left him, or his business failing, or perhaps he was concerned about his connections to Coel. Perhaps it was his massive foreclosures, or his 50,000 dollar illegal taxes he did not pay. Maybe he was thinking about his 7000 plant grow he thought the truth may come out about. Oh poor Rob well Karma is a bitch and this county has a lot of karma. LOL

Just got the lowdown on how Robby got in the accident, the dummy left his K-Mart whistle at home, and was on the hunt playing cop for a pot grower. Stupid Rob, never forget your K-Mart police whistle, however he did remember his plastic sheriff badge and pulled it out on the lady he hit, but that did not fly with CHP. Poor Rob.

Lakeport >> Highway 29 was temporarily closed Tuesday after a traffic collision that sent one driver to the hospital.

Heading southbound at the intersection of Highway 175 — Hopland, Rob Brown, a Lake County supervisor, failed to stop at a solid red light, according to the collision report issued by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

He crashed with the right front and side of a car driven by Elisa McCracken, who was in the northbound lane of Highway 29 attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Highway 175 — Hopland.

Brown, 55, sustained minor injuries, and McCracken, 46, was extricated from the vehicle by medical personnel and transported to Sutter Lakeside Hospital with moderate injuries. Southbound Highway 29 at the intersection was closed for about 30 minutes due to the crash, which occurred at about 6:17 p.m.

Wednesday morning, Brown said he was thankful that no one was seriously injured.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing. Neither blood nor alcohol appear to be a factor in the incident, and both parties were wearing seatbelts, CHP reports.

Looks like it's time for a good old Memorial day growing update, and where the grows stand at this point. Looks like everyone has their grows in place, not a single bust yet this year as Little Bri Bri and the boys stay in the box thus far. Now for the sake of the GOB's or their idiot followers let's clarify two of the recent pops in the city of Clearlake. Each of those were actually Clone busts, not growers. Those folks one of which came up from LA are here to grow 2 foot to 3 foot clone plants, those clones are then distributed through-out the state to various growers. So when you see those thousand plant pops, those are not local community growers those are people we want out of the county as they are simply here to grow clones for distribution to illegal forest growers or growers in areas well outside of our area. We know it can excite the less then knowledgeable Goobers but really it amounts to nothing as far as our local community goes. Just so you GOB's know, those clones would sell out side of the area for between 40 and 70 dollars a clone. All the local grows which this year will break a record with upwards of 5000 grows in the county have already gotten their clones and are in ground. So when you see these early thousands of plants busts that our dummies in local media or the Goobers like to read or add up as actual plants that were in ground for buds you can see it actually means nothing and has nothing to do with our 5000 local community grows. Sorry goobers but we do need to educate you as we go along. These large clones are a change in how plants are grown, as in the past few years clones were generally 7 to 12 inches tall when put in the ground for buds. However as the research and development continues to expand, it has been found that larger clones produce vastly larger plants as the root ball is directly correlated to the end result size of the plant. Thus growers can plant far less plants for the same yield when larger clones are placed in the ground. So what you will find is that there will be a massive increase in the grows that are never known to exist as the land area necessary is far less with the larger yield plants. So again goobers hate to burst your bubbles, but at least you are being educated in reality huh? LOL

Ok so a little more technical details. Over the past winter a massive amount of scientific and R and D in regards to CBD's THC, and other oil substrates has really expanded, and the verities are really reflecting that research. The GOB's should remember that since we don't have legal scientific entities doing growing research this is all done by our local growers. Which by the way is what makes them the very best in the country. So this year will be a stellar year for not only quantity, but a lot of variables in THC and CBD levels. This is all over you GOB's heads, so will leave it their for now. Also there has been a return back to seed starting for plants as the ability to recognize a male vs female plant by our local growers as vastly improved and growers can identify a male much much earlier in the initial growing phase, microscopes can be used to identify the males and some folks are very good at human eye identification. So because seeds will always grow a more robust plant some are returning to using seeds for growing vs the maintaining of a "mother" plant.

So in closing all grows are in and doing well, the weather has been perfect for plant starting, and the season is off to a great start.

I think 132 was meaning to say the vineyards, weed doesn't use phosphorous but vineyards to in major amounts. Also weed does not use nitrogen as nitrogen cause excessive leaf growth which you do not want with MJ. The highest pesticide use for AG in the county is Pear and vineyards. Pesticides are rarely used by community growers and if anything is used it is organic products for about its only enemy which is mites. As far as taxes everyone pays taxes on everything they buy in the county, so MJ growers are the largest tax base in the county. Just ask Kathy Fowler about the taxes paid on all the trucks purchases, as well all the taxes paid on all the supplies purchased in the county for the grows it far exceeds the vineyards who purchase 90% of their products outside the county. Without MJ this county is dead, in fact it is very very dead. So as always we have to correct the idiot GOB's who simply haven't a clue. The deputies could be given wage increases by the BOS but they continue to refuse to. They do so because their own ineptness has stalled all growth and tourism, I.E. bed taxes etc, and Konocti, has closed, and the wine tasting of shannon ridge and Fetzers gamble on Hwy 20 which had to close. He was pissed at the county because they did not do what they said they would do to support his vineyard and wine tasting. Tax base does not set a deputies wages per sey, but if you are a poor county and you have 20 years or more of total idiots running the county then alas this is what you get. So the GOB's only have themselves to blame. Now we told the supervisors to embrace MJ and do the permitting and taxes and all the wonderful things that MJ represents money and job wise. But a GOB goof ball Anthony Farrington said this "I am afraid for the soul of our county if we allow MJ". So you stupid fucking GOB's you have your soul, and you can't hire deputies and you are falling apart on infrastructure. Wake up dumb asses, we can't guide you all the time. We try, but you don't appear smart enough to get it. Meanwhile growers are reaping massive profits and doing just fine, you just don't want to play. Your bad not the growers.

 

Could someone tell stupid shit 132 community growers don't use immigrants, they grow it themselves. Perhaps he is thinking of the illegal forest grow's, which need to be stopped. But those grows only have one or two people watching for the cartels, and when they catch them they just send them back over the boarder. But the vineyards use roughly 1000 to 1500 illegal's for trimming their vines etc. So maybe he needs to address illegal immigrants with the wholesale vineyards in the county. Wake up boy!!
 

Martin also has a major issue with hiring not because of money, but no one wants to come here. Brian has a department that is falling apart. He employs the same favoritism system of management that Mitchell did, and it don't work. No one wants to come here to Lake County. Crime under Martin is increasing, you never hear of a Meth bust, robbery, shootings, and the like are all on the increase, response times suck and are getting worse, and Martin is way out of his league. Tsk tsk you were warned. Combine that with a GOB named Coel, his buddy Rob Brown, who just about killed a women the other day, and you wonder why deputies don't want to come here??? Really??

The problem with raising the pay for deputies lies with the "me too" clause which says any raise must also include a vast number of other county employees. This would break the county's budget. Martin is trying, as Frank did, to find a way to raise deputy pay but the hands of the BOS are tied by fiscal reality. Take home pay for our deputies has actually decreased in the last decade due to an increase in health insurance copay.
 

If only there were something that could be produced which would bring jobs and money to the economy that would in turn boost tax revenue and police pay.
 

No no no 631 the soul of our county would be at stake if we did that. Also I wonder if people now see how useless vineyards are for producing economic viability. It's just a wholesale commodity which provides very little benefit to the county. Period.

I don't think you understand legalization dipstick. You are assuming that because quote medical MJ is legalized based on one model or another, that people have to participate in it. The fact is if legalization is found to be to cumbersome or over regulated then growers will simply continue to do what they do. One thing legalization does is increase demand by 30 to 40% as we saw in Colorado, Washington, Oregon and other places. Dispensaries are generally priced out of the street market when legalization happens because of all the hoops growers have to jump though. Based on the seed to bud documentation. So those who are new to smoking, or who have the money will pay the extra money for the bud, but the majority of growers and smokers will simply not participate in that process. The demand is such that both sides of the equation will get their money, the county if they had used their stupid fucking heads could have been on top of this but they as usual did not. When it is deemed "legal" in what ever form that happens in, it will expand it's use, penalties will be non-existent and there will be little to no LE resources dedicated to it. The cartels will move on, and the forest grows will not be necessary. It's all good boys, you just don't understand how it works nor how it is going to work. Colorado and the other states cannot grow enough "legal" MJ to meet demand, so the so called "black" market is thriving. Now if you think a growers concern is for how much complication and money grabbing is going to happen, and then you want them to participate your in dream land, it aint going to happen. Also what you don't realize is that big big business is planning to move into the legal market, from beer companies to multi-millionaires are all setting the table for their entry into the market. You have to remember that people will be growing a few plants in their backyards for their own use, and no one and nothing will stop that from happening. So this will expand in multiple areas, from legal MJ to garden(like tomatoe) grows to the good old community grower who will continue to thrive and live a great life growing MJ, there just won't be any penalties and no one will be bothered with enforcement. Now do you get it?

Big business will not lower the price of MJ, in fact due to the very regulations you describe it will make what they sell and what the dispensaries sell more expensive as is the case in Colorado and the other states. Thus what the community growers price their product at will be just fine. Oh by the way, you should watch your assumptions, I don't grow, but I am well educated in the processes and concepts associated with it. I have been around it for a long long time friend. I would suggest that is not your background now is it. You forget or fail to understand that MJ it's cultivation and distribution does not work by the basic precepts of capitalism and supply and demand. Why you might ask? It is because the population is not beholden to those corporations that would produce it. Because, the entire system of production and distribution have been in place and working for 30 to 40 years. Again dude you have to wake up, I will say it again, this entire multi-billion dollar industry has been created, grown, and expanded while it was totally illegal. You get that right, you understand that concept? A oh, let's say 10 to 20 billion dollar AG commodity has come into existence and become a normal part of society, all while it was deemed illegal. Problem is that as long as the County zoning rules are so restrictive, there will always be a thriving black market. Since many of our properties in Lake County are excluded from any legal cultivation, that leaves us no option but to have illegal grows without the ability to pay for permits or taxes. Since Lake County has their head up the ass, the only tax money they will continue to see is property and sales taxes. ....I can't wait to see what the final payout will be for the Oaks residences that had their plants pulled up last year without a zoning violation warning or a warrant. Just more money lost by our County Staff and Sheriff Dept. It's no wonder why we can't afford to fix our roads.
 

Property tax, Tax collectors not very efficient. I have nothing on my property but am being taxed for structures? I have pointed this out two years in a row now and keep getting excuses.WTF.
 

The lake county sheriffs don't need no stinkin warrants or warnings or court orders or shearch warrants. Neither did the gastopo.
