Overall it is that the world as a whole lacks dramatic leaders. We have lost the true leaders we had seen in the world in the past. Churchill and the speech he gave after coming out of the basement after days of German bombing. Great men, who filled a room and commanded respect, their nature large and certain. "it is during these times of greatest human strife, that we as a people shall stand together in earnest resolve against those who would appose freedom, appose democracy, and the sanctity of life." Those kinds of words spoken by great men, who made hard decisions and dealt with the world at war and calamity. As a people we stood behind those men, trusted their power and resolve. We don't have that caliber men or women anywhere in this world right now leading countries. The people feel abandoned and chaos ensues.

ANDERSON SPRINGS >> Lake County will seek voter approval to build a new sewer system in Anderson Springs, the planning commission said in the committee’s regular meeting on Thursday.

Community Development Director Richard Coel told the commission that the area is one of the biggest recovery challenges the county faces because of California’s environmental and waste management regulations.

More than 50 homes on the creek had old septic tank systems that were destroyed along with the rest of the property, but under state law, putting in new ones is nearly impossible because of their close proximity to the creek. With no waste management system in place, Coel said, it is illegal for survivors to resume living on their land.

The county has recognized this problem and has initially come up with a solution — to build a new sewer system that would connect the problem homes and allow owners to return.

“Because it all of it burned, we have to apply state standards,” he said. “It’s a big reset … at least half of the people cannot rebuild without sewer.”

The solution has its drawbacks, mainly time and money. Coel told the commission that the project would cost around $5.1 million and, at the very least, take about a year to build.
 

Just saw FARRINGTON LAW on Main Street the other day. I guess it was the old appliance store. Would like to know how he finagled online law school, sitting for the bar exam multiple times, securing a building and converting it into a law office all while earning a cool $60K a year as supervisor, attending only a meeting or two per month. Where will Brown be?

I was not surprised to read Supervisor Rob Brown’s announcement that he is again running for Lake County Supervisor in 2016.

While he has been working nonstop to help with problems due to the Valley Fire which includes District 5, I wish to point out a civil suite number CV415023, a complaint against Rob Brown for allegedly burning down his neighbor’s barn and 20 acres of his neighbor’s land during a control burn that Rob started on his own property. That control burn allegedly went out of control.

Jan and Bob Sanders have hired Sonoma County Attorney Chris Krankeman who filed an appeal in San Francisco Federal Court regarding CV413596. I went to hearing in which Lake County Judge Blum granted a dismissal without prejudice of charges against Brown, which allows the possibility for the Sanders to refile charges against Brown in the future. At that hearing the Sanders told Judge Blum they plan to refile CV413596 in another court after they file an appeal.

Added to that, Brown’s divorce trial has been set forward to March 9, 2016.

Brown may be in court in 2016, answering to allegations in these cases.

Well the bogus pat each other event last night was a total mess. Never seen so many grumbling under their breath, not only about Little Brians favoritism but on the total operation of this failed department and leadership that is so lacking. The event overall was a bust, and did not see a lot of smiles on anyone's faces. Quite a few left drunk and of course drove home without having to worry about a DUI. Of course that puts the public at risk, but heck who cares about that eh Brian. Overall a real waste of money and have never seen so much booze being put down, these guys are heavy drinkers...Very sad to see.
 

Some have told us they have never seen so many drunk deputies in one place before. The phony nature of the event was pretty ugly.

The valley fire the Murphy scam, have really taken the department to a new low. Too bad as always for the citizens of Lake County. Kelseyville >> Phil Murphy has lived on his property for years. A 25-acre piece of farmland, he’s grown on it some of Lake County’s most popular crops, from pears to walnuts — to marijuana.

He thought he was doing everything by the book when he planted his pot crop. So when he called authorities to report a robbery, Murphy didn’t think he and his girlfriend would end up in jail, but that’s just what happened.

It was pouring rain outside when Murphy’s security light came on. He opened a window to look, but didn’t want to go out the night of Nov. 1, thinking it was only cats that set it off. The following day, however, he realized he’d become the victim of a robbery. Murphy’s shop had been broken into and several items were missing.

He contacted the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) after which deputies came to his property to investigate the incident. As he took the officers to the shop, Murphy thought nothing of it when they passed the site of his pot grow. By then it had been already harvested, but the set up was still there including what Murphy believed to be all of the requirements to lawfully grow outlined in Measure N, Lake County’s medical marijuana cultivation ordinance.

That didn’t matter though, because the following day Murphy was served with a search warrant, and he along with Denise Carr were subsequently taken to jail facing felony charges of cultivation of marijuana and the possession of marijuana for sale.

During the search of Murphy’s home on Nov. 3, deputies confiscated 21.1 pounds of processed marijuana in 27 bags and 11.1 pounds of bulk shake marijuana, as stated in a media release that went out on Nov. 4 to nearly every news outlet — print, online and broadcast — not only in Lake County but across the Bay Area. To further spread the word of the bust, the same release was sent via Nixle, which goes out to anyone who chooses to subscribe to the alert system through emails and or text messages, a standard LCSO practice.

What the release failed to mention was that officers also confiscated the medical marijuana scripts of Murphy, Carr and every other member of their seven-person collective, in accordance with Measure N which states a copy of the paperwork must be present on the property where the marijuana is grown. It also didn’t mention that Murphy’s land is not within a Community Growth Boundary, which Measure N prohibits, but within the “A” agricultural zoning district where the ordinance says it should be. And he only grew a little more than half of what Measure N allows. Murphy could have up to 48 mature plants or 72 immature plants but said he grew 26 this season.



The release went on to say that Murphy, aside from admitting he was growing marijuana, refused to speak. A claim Murphy said is a lie, that instead he spoke with deputies for a good 30 minutes during which time he alleges that one of the officers told him they were enforcing California law, not the county’s ordinance.

LCSO Lt. Steve Brooks could neither verify nor refute the claim.

we already know the answer to that 458, Just check Colorado, or Oregon, or Washington as examples. The price went up because the demand increases dramatically. The growers get a massive windfall when legalization happens. Plus the checks and balances that a grower has to go through with legalization raises the value of the crop and in the end increases their profit. Also because some growers are taken off the underground market as they decide to become legal growers, the non-legal growers also increase as people come to the plate to replace them ones who grow legally. In the end the price increases, as only roughly 50% of growers partake in the legal growing of the product. So, uh you really need to do your homework before coming here to post.

Clinton Goes after Laugh Factory Comedians for Making Fun of Her

In what appears to be a first for a serious presidential contender, Hillary Clinton’s campaign is going after five comedians who made fun of the former Secretary of State in standup skits at a popular Hollywood comedy club.

A video of the short performance, which is less than three minutes, is posted on the website of the renowned club, Laugh Factory, and the Clinton campaign has tried to censor it. Besides demanding that the video be taken down, the Clinton campaign has demanded the personal contact information of the performers that appear in the recording. This is no laughing matter for club owner Jamie Masada, a comedy guru who opened Laugh Factory more than three decades ago and has been instrumental in launching the careers of many famous comics. “They threatened me,” Masada told Judicial Watch. “I have received complains before but never a call like this, threatening to put me out of business if I don’t cut the video.”

Practically all of the country’s most acclaimed comedians have performed at the Laugh Factory and undoubtedly they have offended politicians and other well-known personalities with their standup routines. Tim Allen, Jay Leno, Roseanne Bar, Drew Carey, George Carlin, Jim Carrey, Martin Lawrence, Jerry Seinfeld and George Lopez are among the big names that have headlined at the Laugh Factory. The First Amendment right to free speech is a crucial component of the operation, though Masada drew the line a few years ago banning performers—including African Americans—from using the “n-word” in their acts.

The five short performances that Clinton wants eliminated include some profanity and portions could be considered crass, but some of the lines are funny and that’s what the Laugh Factory is all about. The video features the individual acts of five comedians, four men and a woman. The skits make fun of Clinton’s wardrobe, her age, sexual orientation, the Monica Lewinsky scandal and the former First Lady’s relationship with her famous husband. The Laugh Factory has appropriately titled it “Hillary vs. The First Amendment.”

Masada told Judicial Watch that, as soon as the video got posted on the Laugh Factory website, he received a phone call from a “prominent” person inside Clinton’s campaign. “He said the video was disgusting and asked who put me up to this,” Masada said. The Clinton staffer, who Masada did not want to identify, also demanded to know the names and phone numbers of the comedians that appear in the video. Masada refused and hung up. He insists that the comedy stage is a sanctuary for freedom of speech no matter who is offended. “Just last night we had (Emmy-award winner) Dana Carvey doing Donald Trump and it was hilarious,” Masada said.

My own double alma mater, Vanderbilt University.

Motivated by the fake protest at Mizzou, Vandy decided they needed to have their own anti-racism protest. So a couple of hundred losers on campus showed up and denounced racism in a protest 99% of the campus paid no attention to. Because, you know, Vanderbilt isn't racist. But whatever. That's beside the point.

The day after the protest the protest group's wet dream happened -- there was poop in a black bag on the front steps of the black cultural center.

Well, it turns out that it was a blind female student whose seeing eye dog pooped on campus and she couldn't find a trash can.

"I would like to inform everyone on this campus that no racial threat occurred. I am a blind student on this campus with a guide dog. I was meeting with a group last night to go over our debate for one of my sociology classes. My dog did her business outside on the grass and I picked it up and put it in a bag like always...I did not want to bring the feces inside and make the building smell, so I left it outside by the door...Everyone is going to point me out now as the blind girl who left her dog feces by the black cultural center. I am sorry that I do not know where all the trash cans are on main campus...The Vanderbilt police were obviously able to look at cameras and figure out that it was Marley and I becasue I got a call asking if I left her feces outside of the door."

Nonetheless, we apologize to the Vanderbilt community for jumping to conclusions and for any personal trauma caused by the quick escalation of this situation. We have personally contacted Stephanie Zundel and apologized for our reaction to the nature of this incident. Alaska becomes first state to allow Amsterdam-like marijuana cafes

The Alaska Marijuana Control Board is giving tourists a place to light up (or chow down) once cannabis sales begin next year.

On Friday, the board voted 3-2 to allow marijuana buyers to consume marijuana products in the business that sells them. Combined with other measures approved Friday, the board’s action effectively makes Alaska the first state in the nation to legalize Amsterdam-style marijuana cafes.

Friday’s vote answers the complaints of Alaskans who contended that the state’s ban on marijuana consumption “in public” leaves visitors (and Alaskans whose rental contracts prohibit smoking) no place to consume marijuana.

Many of the complainants had asked for the board to approve marijuana clubs, private establishments that would allow the consumption of marijuana bought elsewhere.

everyone except the American people. We get ripped off. We’re the
patsies. But for once, the powerful socialist cabal and the corrupt crony capitalists are scared.
The over-the-top reaction to Trump by politicians of both parties, the
media, and the biggest corporations of America has been so swift and
insanely angry that it suggests they are all threatened and frightened
like never before.
Donald Trump can self-fund. No matter how much they say to the
contrary, the media, business, and political elite understand that Trump
is no joke. He could actually win and upset their nice cozy apple cart.
It’s no coincidence that everyone has gotten together to destroy The
Donald. It’s because most of the other politicians are part of the a ood
old boys club. They talk big, but they won’t change a thing. They
are all beholden to big-money donors. They are all owned by lobbyists,

Or they are owned lock, stock and barrel by foreigners, like
George Soros owns Obama or foreign governments own Hillary with their
Clinton Foundation donations.

big money. But there’s one man who isn’t beholden to anyone. There’s
one man who doesn’t need foreigners, or foreign governments, or George
Soros, or the United Auto Workers, or the teacher’s union, or the
Service Employees International Union, or the Bar Association to fund

help. That means he doesn’t care what the media says. He doesn’t care

secretly gay, or stealing taxpayer money, the National Security Agency
knows everything.
Ask former House Speaker Dennis Hastert about that. The government
even knew he was withdrawing large sums of his own money from his own
bank account. The NSA, the SEC, the IRS, and all the other
three-letter government agencies are watching every Republican political
leader. They surveil everything. Thirdly, many Republicans are
petrified of being called racists . . . so they are scared to ever
criticize Obama or call out his crimes, let alone demand his
impeachment. Fourth , why rock the boat? After defeat or retirement, if you’re a good old boy,you’ve got a $5 million-per-year lobbying job waiting. The big-money interests have the system gamed. Win or lose, they win.
But Trump doesn’t play by any of these rules. Trump breaks up
this nice, cozy relationship between big government, big media, and big
business. All the rules are out the window if Trump wins the Presidency.
The other politicians will protect Obama and his aides but not Trump.
Remember: Trump is the guy who publicly questioned Obama’s birth
certificate. He questioned Obama’s college records and how a mediocre
student got into an Ivy League university. Now, he’s doing something no
Republican has the chutzpah to do. He’s questioning our relationship
with Mexico; he’s questioning why the border is wide open; he’s
questioning why no wall has been built across the border; he’s
questioning if allowing millions of illegal aliens into America is in
our best interests; he’s questioning why so many illegal aliens commit
violent crimes, yet are not deported; and he’s questioning why our trade
deals with Mexico, Russia and China are so bad.

Trump has the audacity to ask out loud why American workers always get the short end of the stick. Good
question! I’m certain Trump will question what happened to the almost
billion dollars given in a rigged no-bid contract to college friends of
Michelle Obama at foreign companies to build the defective Obamacare
website. By the way, that tab is now up to $5 billion. Trump will ask if
Obamacare’s architects can be charged with fraud for selling it by
lying. Trump will investigate Obama’s widespread IRS conspiracy, not to
mention Obama’s college records. Trump will prosecute Clinton and Obama
for fraud committed to cover up Benghazi before the election. How about
the fraud committed by employees of the Labor Department when they made
up dramatic job numbers in the last jobs report before the 2012
election?
Obama, the multinational corporations, and the media need to stop Trump.
They recognize this could get out of control . If left unchecked,
telling the raw truth and asking questions everyone else is afraid to
ask, Trump could wake a sleeping giant. Trump’s election would be a
nightmare. Obama has committed many crimes. No one else but Trump would
dare to prosecute. He will not hesitate. Once Trump gets in and gets a
look at the cooked booksand Obama’s records, the game is over. The gig
is up. The goose is cooked. Holder could wind up in prison. Jarrett
could wind up in prison. Obama bundler Corzine could wind up in prison
for losing $1.5 billion of customer money. Clinton could wind up in jail
for deleting 32,000 emails, or for accepting bribes from foreign
governments while Secretary of State, or for misplacing $6 billion as
the head of the State Department, or for lying about Benghazi. The
entire upper level management of the IRS could wind up in prison.
Obamacare will be defunded and dismantled. And Obama himself could wind up ruined, his legacy in tatters.


Trump will investigate. Trump will prosecute. Trump will go after everyone involved. That’s
why the dogs of hell have been unleashed on Donald Trump. Yes, it’s
become open season on Donald Trump. The left and the right are
determined to attack his policies, harm his businesses, and, if
possible, even keep him out of the coming debates. But they can’t
silence him. And they sure can’t intimidate him. The more they try, the
