July 11th, 2014(updated)

This is the Lovelace Group of Lake County and this is our Blog page. This Blog is dedicated to the good citizens of our county and with their help and dedication to change and transparency. This site now has 6 years of existence. It started several years ago dedicated to the removal of two public officials holding office in our county. Sheriff Rodney K. Mitchell and District Attorney John Hopkins. As our group began to look at the actions and incidents of corruption, elitism, and crony-ism that was entrenched in our local governmental system it became clear that something must be done to change the course of the past 15 years. Lake County is one of the lowest rated counties in the state from health criteria to water quality. Meth is still a severe issue, tourism is dying, and housing value is stagnant. Our lake is dying due to total government mismanagement.  Change is needed.  A model was created, this model was based upon the use and concept of social communications and Internet dialog to promote public awareness and further the cause of radical change in our community. By various means we brought our site to the attention of the citizens and public officials in our county. Now approaching  one million comments, several elections, and an amazing county, state and country wide audience we are pressing forward for even greater social change and policy restructuring within our county. Environmentally and from a governmental failure, our county is dying.

What has been accomplished thus far would have been hard to imagine 48 months ago. Sheriff Rodney K. Mitchell has been removed from power, District Attorney Jon Hopkins has been removed from power. One of the driving forces for the exposure and removal of these two corrupt individuals is a terrible incident involving a boating accident on our local lake when a sheriff's deputy named Russell Perdock drove his speed boat at high speed in the middle of the night over the top of a sail boat just leaving the docks with running lights on killing at a far to early age a beautiful women name Lynn Thorton, at the helm of the sailboat was Bismarck Dinius. What followed is hard to imagine. Then sheriff Mitchell and DA Hopkins charged Bismarck Dinius with the death of his passenger Lynn Thorton and protected their deputy Russell Perdock, charging him with no crimes. During the course of the criminal trial cover-ups, illegal actions, jury tampering, and a host of other issues spelled the doom of Mitchell and Hopkins and the total unanimous jury acquittal of Bismarck Dinius. A federal civil rights trial of massive proportions has been settled in San Francisco federal court with several million dollars going to Mr. Dinius. Both Mitchell and Hopkins were key individuals in the attempted prosecution of Bismarck Dinius and cover-up of the truth of the accident. With this incident in mind we launched the sheriff Mitchell Watch Blog, of which our URL remains the same but our Blog name has now changed to Lake County Government Watch. During the adventures of our first year we were able to elect Sheriff Frank Rivero into the sheriffs position.  For 4 years running the GOB network has attacked sheriff Rivero. A phony Brady process by DA Donnie Anderson, a Trumped up recall attempt by Brian Martin and Rob Brown, and a vote of no confidence by the BOS were some of the constant attacks by this elitist network.  Now in the recent election, the local media showing no journalistic integrity has assisted in taking our sheriff out of office, he is being replaced by a Good Old Boy who is directly connected to former sheriff Rodney Mitchell.  Although we will have one or two new supervisors in district's 2 and 3, we are saddened with the loss of sheriff Rivero. Sheriff Rivero was of Cuban blood. The severe racism still embedded in the power brokers of Lake County and their family and friends remains a major issue.   However we are steadfast in our dedication to you the people of this county and of  furthering transparency, honesty, and government integrity in our county and beyond.

What we have found during the course of our own investigations in the county is stunning to say the least. It was discovered that a local Internet paper called Lake County News run by Liz Larson and her husband John, in our opinion were in collusion with local government officials. We then exposed this paper for its biased and fascist operations discrediting their reporting and any semblance of credibility they once had. The Record Bee has done no better and due to a massive amount of pressure local editor Mandy Feder is leaving the paper. Both papers outright attacks on Sheriff Rivero scraped the bottom of journalistic integrity.  One of the more significant discoveries also exposed several of our local Board of Supervisors to the citizens scrutiny. Most significant is Rob Brown, whom we continue to bring the light of transparency and exposure to his actions and Neanderthal approach to governance.

As together we continue our Blog and our efforts towards community awareness and change we want to thank the many citizens from deputies current and former to just good folks helping and offering assistance.

This process of change in a county or government system run through an entrenched multi-generational nepotistic, wink wink, system of government(GOB's or Good Ole Boys) is difficult to accomplish, new ideas and change are not embraced. Those that have the power and control will not give it up easily.   Thank you for joining us here, we are the voice of the voiceless of which in today's world there are far to many whose voices are not heard.

Finally as of this editing, we are but a few days away from 2,000,000 page views in 6 short years, in this a county of 60,000 and change. All of you are the reason we hit that milestone.

The Lovelace group of concerned citizens

the fire is still growing but at least containment is too it's a long way from over.

Everyone get involved with your local gov.
If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem.

Part one:

Now as you read this article, notice how not a single sentence mentions Lake County as growing grapes!!!! Every place around us is, and we are simply mentioned as the county creating the smoke!!! LOL Even Beckstoffer never mentions he grows his grapes here, but only tries to suggest his grapes are ok as the smoke did not get blown his way!!!!! You liar Andy, you liar. But remember Beckstoffer, tore the county idiots to pieces with his land grab, and the county basically charging him nothing for his destruction of our natural environment, just so he can process a bunch of grapes and ship them wholesale out of the county. Let's face it Lake County, as Lovelace has said over and over. YOU WILL NOT BE LIKE NAPA, NO THE SOUL OF THE COUNTY IS NOT AT STAKE FARRINGTON. NO WE WILL NOT BE KNOW FOR OUR GRAPES. Get over it. The grape industry adds little to no jobs except for migrant workers at picking time, Our unemployment has never changed or been helped by the vineyards. Our ground water is being depleted, Ceago shut down because of no tourists and now they just wholesale them out. Our natural environment is being destroyed and heavy nutrient loads are being pumped into our lake. So here is the article, read for yourself:

California wildfires threaten to make local wine 'unpalatable':
There are fears in California’s wine industry over the possible impact of raging wildfires and whether they could damage this year’s grape yield, potentially affecting the state’s multibillion dollar business.

While safety for residents and containment of the fires is the clear priority for officials, some in the industry also fear the flames may harm what is a key business sector. Concern in Napa is focused on how the grapes interact with the billows of smoke from the massive Rocky fire in neighboring Lake County.

One Sonoma-based vintner, who as an independent consultant asked not to be named due to confidentiality agreements with clients, told the Guardian: “It’s a really big concern for a lot of these vineyards who are near fires and all that smoke because for red grapes, where the skin is still used in the winemaking process, that smoke could potentially infuse and create abnormal flavors.”

According to KOFY-TV in San Francisco, a number of vineyards have already sent grapes to laboratories in order to determine if smoke has affected the product

For California’s wine industry, the potential costs of grapes being contaminated by smoke could be significant.
Already, the current drought has already seen a reduction in vineyard yields, which has driven up prices of locally produced wine, according to the Allied Grape Growers, a California trade organization.

Part two:

“It’s definitely a concern for us here in Napa and across wine country because we are unsure exactly what the fires and the smoke will do to the grapes,” said Dan Abrams, who was enjoying a glass of Cabernet at the Carpe Diem Wine Bar in Napa, just south of the vast fire.

Andy Beckstoffer of Beckstoffer Vineyards says that current wind conditions are benefiting vineyards as the smoke is heading east and away from grapes, but that could change at any time. “It really depends on where the grapes are located and the state of the grapes,” he said on Wednesday,

“This is something to seriously watch in about a month when the grapes are getting ready” for harvest, he added.

While vintners, vineyards and wine drinkers alike in California fret over what could amount to the loss of an entire season of grapes,
It was not positive news for the industry. “Wines made from grapes exposed to smoke during sensitive growth stages can exhibit aromas and flavours resembling smoked meat, disinfectant, leather, salami and ashtrays,” said a report. It noted that when “unfavourable smoke characteristics are detected by consumers at high concentrations”, the wines could be “unpalatable”.

“Unsalable wines result in financial losses for producers with costs flowing on to wine brands, market presence and future sales,” the report said.

In California, individuals invested in wine and winemaking in the state, from Mendocino to the north to the Central Valley to Napa and Sonoma, are watching daily the efforts to extinguish or contain the blazes that have already crept close to their grapes. “I really hope there is some good news with the weather soon,” said Abrams.

It will get really interesting when it's official that the fire started at a pot growing place on Rocky Creek Rd., eh 'hopalong'? Better hop along before all those who lost grows find out.

Ha ha ha Yup left the LC right out of that one!!!! Our local government geeks are so fricken stupid. We could have been on our way to a number one MJ industry county, and created thousands of jobs and products ready for the market. But no no the vaunted lawyer(took 4 times to pass the bar) Anthony Farrington said "the soul of our county is at stake'.!!!! LOL

In California, individuals invested in wine and winemaking in the state, from Mendocino to the north to the Central Valley to Napa and Sonoma,

Oh by the way 658. Not a single grow of Lake Counties MJ has been effected by the fire. And no a MJ grow did not start the fire. Of course you could not have known that, as you ain't got a clue about how and where MJ is grown. LOL in fact the entire burn area would never ever be used as an area to grow MJ. Now run along son, ya bother me.

I just want to extend an offer of assistance to the medicinal growers who lost their gardens in this fire and will be seeking employment in their area of expertise.
Come on over and I can give you some work planting twolips.

Add the high concentrates of arsenic/smoke/drought affected wine and consume at your own risk.

I got a place for your "twolips"

Odd how pot growers don't seem to realize that everything that affects other crops also affects theirs. Fortunately the wineries are legit and insured so if they suffer losses can get relief. Pot growers? Not so much.

And if you don't think a ton of weed went up in smoke you sure weren't in Clearlake on Friday. Whole freaking town reeked of burning weed. So either every doper in town lit up for 24 hours straight or a shitload of MJ went poof. And then there's the retardant encrusted buds out there, who's gonna buy that shit?

722 and over the last couple of days i was beginning to think just maybe you aren't that stupid.

my bad.

LOL ok 722. you run with that. You know at some point in time dude you have to give up the ghost. MJ is the economic viability of Lake County period. The sooner you admit that the easier your poor sad life will be. Ha ha.. Now again run along boy, momma's calling.

713 ha ha ha ha beautiful, that is best post of the day!!! Props

Hey 722 dumb ass, there are no buds right now, to early just big leaves that are not used. Nice try though. As 737 said, run along boy your out of your league.

No Mr. Greenjeans the taxpayers will not be providing you financial assistance for your income lost in the fire other than the welfare and foodstamps you've already been collecting. No new truck this year.

did anyone find out how the rocky fire got started or is it to soon. oh by the way the leaves are used in cooking. you dry them first then sift to the texture of flour. thats how you make your brownies. the heat brings out the thc.that way you do not waist the buds. i grew mj in my backyard in san mateo in 1968 nobody new what it was. even grew opium the neibhors admired my beautifull flowers. had lots of clients on the haight.. ah such sweet memories.to be continued.

Oh the irony of it all 809

thanks to the fire you will be supporting more of the small growers welfare and food stamps through your tax dollars.
don't quit your job you may have more dependents to support this year.
no tax write off for you, keep your tax dollars coming.

smiley face..

Anybody have any information on when they are going to open hwy 20?

Alright boys and girls, this is the Lovelace group with a little educational and informational overview of our current lake conditions and what Yolo is doing and where we are going and of course you will not see this in our local media, We suspect they are to busy with their Mr. Lake County highlights and winners or is that weiners? Anyway we digress. Right now Yolo as of August 1st has increased their outflow up to 345 cubic feet a second. That by the way is the average amount they take this time of year when we start with a full lake. Right now they have the right to pull the lake down to 1 on the Rumsey it is now at 1.99 and being drained at a rate that will take it to 1 in a few weeks or less. Remember full pool depending really where you are on the lake, is 8 and change feet.

The knowledgeable Record Bee made the grand proclamation in an article on May 19th 2015 that we would be at 2.9 feet on August 1st and still at 2 on Sept.1st, None the less it is stunning that while the entire Ag industry has been cut back hard from state water allocations there was no attempt by our local supervisors to seek relief through the state of the allocations. Come on, we are in a 4 year drought, the lake is getting hammered, and hasn't been full in years, and Yolo does not have to concede some water allocations due to the extreme circumstances? Just the way all of us are being asked to conserve. Business, and private alike. No,as usual our no load public officials have their heads up their asses and refuse to think or act outside their little box. Hey were just putting it out there.

the last war will be about water. aren't the B.O.S. doing golf this week?

LOL ya no doubt 935.

8:47 PM
They're already on food stamps and welfare. Where you been. No increase will happen but bet your boots there will be fewer new trucks.

Good point 3:01 give respect, get respect
But a lot of LEOs make it hard to respect them when they look at you like you're guilty before convincing them your innocent. People get profiled, weather it's right or wrong, it happens.
I think LEO's deal with so many criminals on a daily basis, that they have forgotten that a lot of citizens are decent.

You got it right WTR. they deal with so many baddy's, it's hard for them to see the difference.I know it/s hard but try to be nice while you recocd there every move as a precaution. TRUST NO ONE.

The supreme court has ruled very clearly that words are not prosecutable and not actionable by any LEO period. Now if someone wants to say that a cop will shoot you if you call them a fuck head, then we have a real real problem in this country.I would not mind if they called me a fuck head, I would simply say your an asshole and we would move on. You cannot, I repeat this country cannot and we cannot allow fear of LE to be the leading casual of our own words and actions. Do you understand how communistic that would be. How Chinese like, how Russia like that sounds. This is America, LE is the servant of the people. You people who want to let your own personal fear destroy our constitution and our American values have a lot to learn.

Remember this about the demographics of police officers, now this is not opinion this is fact. They have the highest rate of domestic violence of any occupation in the county. Think about that, what does it tell you about the nature of the majority of LE? You cannot blame the occupation or the nature of the work for this level of dysfunction. Serious work needs to be done in the hiring in regards to the make up of these individuals. It is difficult to put a gun in the hands of a group of people who beat their wives at a rate far beyond any other occupation. Everyone should be on guard, keep your camera phones at the ready, stand up for your rights and make sure they understand who is in charge. They have a job to do, write tickets, handle real crime, and take care of business in a professional manner.

4:44 PM

Expressing yourself like an ignorant asshole regardless of circumstance is your constitutional right.
Rage on you crazy diamond.

What is the source for the assertion that LE has the highest rate of DV of any profession?

Bruce pulled that one deep out of his ass. Lol.

610 That sounds like another jj fantasy.

Alright you stupid fucks here are a few fun facts for you stupid asses to ponder, now what's being pulled out of whose ass?

Statistics show that 1 in 4 women in the US is a victim of domestic violence, those numbers jump to 1 in 2 if they are married to a cop.
May 7, 2014

Law Enforcement officers beat their significant other at nearly double the national average. Several studies, according to Diane Wetendorf, author of Police Domestic Violence: Handbook for Victims, indicate that women suffer domestic abuse in at least 40 percent of police officer families. For American women overall, the figure is 25 percent, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

According to The Advocates for Human Rights Organization, studies indicate that police families are 2-4 times more likely than the general population to experience domestic violence, making the potential for disparities in protective success particularly troubling.
_____________________________________________

One Group Has a Higher Domestic Violence Rate Than Everyone Else — And It's Not the NFL
In families of police officers, domestic violence is two-to-four times more likely than in the general population — from stalking and harassment to sexual assault and even homicide. As the National Center for Women and Policing notes, two studies have found that at least 40% of police officer families experience domestic violence, in contrast to 10% of families in the general population.
_____________________________________________________

n fact, domestic violence is two-to-four times as prevalent in police officer families as it is in the general population. Yikes.

The National Center for Women & Policing report that two studies have found that at least forty percent of police officer families experience domestic violence, in contrast to ten percent of families in the general population.

This is scary for many reasons, but perhaps most especially because police officers have privileges and accessibility that the average citizen does not.
Police officers have the highest rate of domestic violence of all professions and demographics:

Domestic violence is always a terrible crime, but victims of a police officer are particularly vulnerable because the officer who is abusing them:

1. has a gun,
2. knows the location of battered women's shelters, and
3. knows how to manipulate the system to avoid penalty and/or shift blame to the victim.
One of the most disturbing parts is that police departments often handle cases of police family violence informally; without an "official report, investigation, or even check of the victim's safety."

So listen you little fucks. Don't fucking call me out, your not smart enough and your not sharp enough, you like John Jensen and the rest of you intellectually challenged weak sucks should know that by now. You will lose.that battle. Now if you want I can post 200 articles and studies that bears this out. So if you don't want to be served the next time shut the fuck up.

I can't help it if your a pussy 553, you better go change your tampon boy it's leaking!!

District 2 Supervisor Jeff Smith mentioned that the Clearlake Police Department purchased the same SUVs and that Chief Craig Clausen said the ground clearance is “less than you would expect.”

“If you hit that, it’s a $3,000 bill,” Smith said.

Macedo assured Smith that the LCSO is well aware of that and officers “are instructed to drive that car with care and caution. To be cognizant of the terrain you are in and don’t try to go through an area where you have significant chance of causing damage.”

The Bee just bested you again JJ.LOL

I tried to post something from the LCN to my FB page recently, but some ominous blurry cross resulted, so I deleted it. What a stupid guy he is. Missing opportunities right and left to save his dying e rag. Tsk tsk.

ever since jj's Drunk and Disorderly arrest jj joined the born again, and again and if you ain't one of them.
You know the rest of the story.

If it is true about Don's daughters not being charged, then it seems the GOBs do indeed have a clue. As one says in golf, "Well played".

It's more like "Par for the course"

Oh it's true and Lovelace has a copy of the letter Donny wrote on DA letterhead. Of course this is nothing new for this group of lowlifes. Corruption lives as always in the LC. The "well played" is exactly why this county is the lowest rated county in the state. They only care about their own, and the rest don't and never have mattered. Grease their pockets, and destroy the county.

Watch out for a contractor named ground control, they are illegal as hell as well as thieves.l

nobody gives a shit about the dog or the leo with the licence to kill. nothing will happen to him anyway, not in this county so why even bother.

Channel 2 had an update on the valley fire. Oh but no cause of the fire.....My my my Do you trust what the answer is going to be. If you do I have a great lot in Middletown, real cheap.

I paid a visit to Middletown yesterday and went to the meeting held yesterday. The situation is much worse then I thought and what I heard is not a pretty picture. It appears what the Lovelace group said a couple of weeks ago is coming to bear. First of all this county is ill equipped to deal with this problem. Rick Coel and the rest of the numb nuts in this county are totally out of their league and big trouble is coming. Coel doesn't have a clue what to do. They can't even decide how the clean up should go and how it should be done. They won't accept any materials at the local dumps and the only thing Coel can say is you can drive it to Santa Rosa or Redding!! He is also telling everyone don't clean up cause you don't know where the property lines are. Like it really matters if you clean up 10 feet of someone's property next to you. People are being told they have to have soil samples sent out for testing for Asbestos and other hazardous waste before starting any clean up. There is confusion everywhere. Then they say they are going to create a Katrina type housing complex and that is going to never never work and will become a hang out for every tom dick and harry that wants free rent. Most contractors are walking the other way and do not want to deal with the stupidity of the county and the regulations of California. The regulations will make it nearly impossible for most to ever rebuild. Lovelace pointed all this out a few weeks ago, I did not believe it but do now. I talked to several realtors who said they expect 75% of people will leave the area and not rebuild. They also said 90% of Cobb will not return. The picture is very very bad. Also when most of the support people and agencies leave which will be in two weeks ago, things will get worse. Remember the Mike Thompsons and his dog and pony show will be gone soon and he won't look back. Overall this is a very bad situation and due to the poor county we are, there is no help coming. Napa after the Earthquake had their own personal money and we do not. This is out of control and already the county is showing how terribly ill equipped they are.

Well, that should make you very happy, 5:10, everything going to hell in a handbasket just like you predicted. Congratulations, you get your wish.

No congratulations necessary 608, and a big thanks to you 510. These are simply the realities of the situation. Over and over we have predicated exactly what was going to happen when the leaders you continue to keep in power make stupid moves. The Lucerne College is a perfect example. The situation with the Valley fire is another one. It is sad for all the people who have been damaged by this fire, but it is also quite easy to see where this was going to go. You elected people in this county that for years the likes of you have kept blindly in power, over and over you pay the price of this ignorance, you have the lowest rated county in the state, you have a health index that ranks in last place and has been for years. You have supervisors that have never ever decreased the unemployment rate, built a growing economy, kept the youth in the county, nor improved the infra-structure to stop the demise of tourism. They have wrapped their arms around vineyards and it has done nothing for the county. They have rejected the most viable economic concept with their rejection of MJ while the rest of the country reaps the rewards of legalization. These are your choices, yet you run with your fingers in your ears. The Rob Browns, Farringtons, Smiths, and Comstocks are your leaders and they are clueless, the results over the years speak volumes, yet you seem not to hear. When or if you start listening to the Lovelace group, you will see your lot change if you do not you will continue the decline. Period. The rebuilding of Middletown and Cobb is a pipe dream that will not happen, not with who you have in power, they do not have the intelligence nor vision to manage such a situation. This will be proven out over the next few months. Oh by the way, if indeed the El Nino happens, stand by for massive mudslides and chaos in the burn areas, work should already have begun to fortify the hills and burned areas. They haven't even thought of this, and yet it is only a couple of months away if the predictions come true. We want to help, we have the capacity, intelligence and vision, but they do not want to release the power and admit to their failure. So be it. We can only tell you what is going to happen, if you will not listen you will suffer the consequences.

6:53, Please be among those leaving. Please.
The devastated areas of the county will be rebuilt and far better than what they were, home prices will rise and dopers will have to find some other poor community to ravage. Adios muchachos.

WOW 8:13 not all dopers are on drugs. there are a lot in the county offices.

Government corruption by lobbyists to silence the voices of the people, staged war on terror, endless illegal wars of aggression, ongoing false flag operations with crisis actors, out of control police state, creation and arming proxy terrorist armies like ISIS, geoengineering ongoing crimes against humanity and the planet, ongoing GMO poisoning of the human race’s DNA, the list goes on and on of all the issues ‘Pope Francis’ did NOT address in his “historic” visit to the U.S. this week. The rote ceremonies, staged political speeches and propaganda have been ongoing particularly after the Pope’s visit and speech to Congress where he officially endorsed the coming “sustainable” new world order.

That’s right. Instead of addressing the problems humanity faces mentioned above, Pope Francis conveniently echoed almost all the key talking points consistent with the desires of the controlling oligarchs who want to rule the world. The most important message being to endorse the anthropogenic global warming turned climate change issue by talking about the “environment”. The environment issue as it relates to the original global warming CO2 lie, is the most important issue as without it the global elitists will never be able to force Agenda 21 and thus “sustainability” on humanity. Without it, they will never get their global carbon taxes to fund the global government for which the Pope seems to be speaking on behalf of. And thus they will never get their new world order. This IS the most important issue, and I would argue is possibly the primary reason for this whole Pope staged visit to the U.S. with corresponding national, global 24/7 mainstream media coverage.

Now there is faith in action, a pope mobile with 3 inches of bullet proof glass. lol

What we have seen the last few days during this Pope visit media frenzy is a horrific attempt by the globalists to reinforce the collectivist “greater good” ideas in our collective consciousness in preparation for what they hope will be a “sustainable” prison planet where they (the global oligarchs) will rule the world by controlling every aspect of it. All of this will be perceived to be for the sake of the collective and of course the planet whose health is apparently in the hands of the controlling politically-divinely appointed rulers.

They need this new world order now and they’ve chosen the Pope as the messenger of their plans. He was chosen probably because they hope the Pope will appeal to Catholics (and perhaps non-Catholics) around the world. There’s no question in my mind he’s being used as a mouthpiece for the roll-out of the new world order in every sense.

And just in case you are not convinced this is about pushing the new world order based on Malthusian Eugenics principles? Then it may interest you that the mainstream media made sure to put out several other stories just to keep the Agenda 21-style new world order theme brewing strongly in our heads. In another story mainstream media is talking about how “Investors are mining for water” and how this is the “next hot commodity“. We again see how the Malthusian principle of scarcity is being pushed in perfect timing with the Pope’s visit.

If you are still not sure why over 30,000 scientists and researchers sued Al Gore for fraud then ask and do your own research. Also do your research and find out about groups like the Club of Rome and the Committee of 300 and confirm their documented goals of controlling all of humanity by introducing an environmental-related crisis which humans would have to be responsible for cooperating in.

Read about the concept and the history of Malthusianism and try to see if the message sounds familiar with today’s “sustainable” message. Try to connect the dots and see the truth for yourself. That’s the knowledge part of the solution. Then share this knowledge and takes steps in your personal life to focus on strengthening and expanding your own sovereignty and your freedoms. Focus on your own family network and friends and realize the value. Focus on taking action at the local level to protect your town and city from the top-down control of government. We must find ways to promote government from the bottom-up. Everyone must realize as soon as possible that every form of top-down governance leads to tyranny. There is no other way. For this reason bottom-up governance is the only form of government that can be considered if we’re going to have a government at all.

Holy water: Congressman steals Pope Francis' glass after White House address to sip remaining liquid with his wife - and then saves some to sprinkle on his grandchildren
Representative Bob Brady, a devout Catholic and Democrat from Pennsylvania took Pope Francis' water glass on Thursday
After Pope Francis addressed congress, Rep. Brady made his way to the podium to get the leftover liquid so he could drink it
He also shared the water with his wife Debra and his staff, and plans to use the rest to sprinkle on his grandchildren
Brady poured the liquid into the mouths of others rather than letting them hold the glass and had his staff send out the photos
He did the same thing at President Obama's inauguration with his water glass
Brady also plans to have police dust the cup for fingerprints to prove it was used by Pope Francis

And you wonder why our country is gone. This is an elected official!!!!

It is still not clear to me how the BOS and county government could embrace the cannabis industry in a manner which would provide economic benefit to the community. What does that mean, in practical terms? Given that the current restrictive rules on cultivation were actually approved by the electorate, how would embracing cannabis be possible, politically? The economic benefit is also unclear - the City of Clearlake, for example, has historically been much less restrictive than the County concerning cultivation and dispensaries, but it is still a shithole. On a larger scale, both Mendocino and Humboldt have overtly encouraged the cannabis industry, and neither of those counties is in a much better position than Lake. What exactly should Lake County do about cannabis, and what would the benefit be?

"And you wonder why our country is gone." Ok, Mr. Garrison!

9:18 AM
Hadn't you heard? When MJ growers are given uninhibited license to do as they please a magic cloud will envelop them. They'll fly forth from thoses cloud on unicorns as environmentally conscious, tax paying citizens who don't seek out every conceivable way to avoid sharing that wealth and despoil the environment for personal gain. Or so we're told.

The assistance center in Middletown is being commandeered like a concentration camp with armed rent a cops and state OES Nazis. Beware citizens, you won't see Lakeconews or it's sister rag, Record Bee reporting on any of this bullshit. They only want positive stories, so they can continue to delude the taxpayers who are the victims in this sorry mess of incompetence. This is the time for our county residents to rise up like Phoenixes. Don't drink the Kool aid that they will be serving up. Demand answers to your questions and hold their collective feet to the fires that you yourselves have endured.

pull yourself up by the bootstraps of the poor people you are standing on.

Yes, 12:07, thank goodness we have Terri and LCM to bring us the hard-hitting investigative journalism the people need to be roused from their lethargy.

That's right, 12:25, because you sure won't read all about it from Flakeconews or The Record Flea. At least the people have other means to obtain accurate information, because the aforementioned outlets, if you will, are abject failures.

Right On!

Those willing to give up liberty for security deserve neither and will loose both.

LOL, Terri is getting publicly schooled by the county about her confusion after the Sheriff explained it precisely yesterday.

918 the Lovelace group has put forth a very defined plan and process for how the county should have accepted and embraced MJ many times. We haven't the time nor desire to again describe to you knuckleheads over and over the various concepts and attributes of how the county should have handled MJ. But just as a reminder this county currently without MJ would cease to exist economically. Since you are not a man of the street nor do you have a clue of the money flow and economic fluidity of MJ in the county nor the businesses it supports it would be far to long of a overview to satisfy your less then informed question. Ask Kathy Fowler how she likes selling all the trucks with cash on the table each year of the growers. Ask the local hardware stores how they like the lumber they sell and the fencing bamboo and other products they sell, ask lake builders how they like the thousands and thousands of dollars in pools, fertilizers, and supplies associated with MJ. Go look in the garden sections and the bloom agents and other such products that are available, do you think these are for tomatoes? Go ask UCC what percentage of their tractor and bulldozer rentals are supported by MJ. There are currently 3000 to 4000 growers or more in this county you think all those plants grow because you toss a seed in the ground and walk away?. Ask the several thousand trimmers making thousands of dollars each year how they like MJ and what it does for their income and families. We can't walk you through all of this time and time again. You are uneducated and totally out of touch with the reality of this county and what supports it. You are just a small pawn listening to the leaders you continue to vote for. Without MJ this county dies and takes it final breaths of life. Period.

Lovelace doesn't understand that the county can't pass laws legalizing or taxing marijuana. You really need to sign up for some remedial classes in civics, dude.

Your clueless 555, you have the vision of a toad. Again we are not here to educate you. Our premise takes all of legalization, federal players, taxation(such as the concept of permitting Mendo, Colorado and 12 other states have used, along with many many other ideas and concepts into consideration. It also sets up the county to be ready and planning for the legalization that will happen in 2016. Your simply a small minded follower. Look outside the box, dude. Oh also, go away, your boring and without enough intellectual acumen to even be discussing this with us. ok dude.

Why don't we grow opium poppies here and make even more money? I know, the supes are stopping us so it is all their fault. If only they had the brilliance of LL. Who knows? Maybe we could grow the coca plant here as well.

California pot growers are to blame for the increase in heroin use in the US. Mexican growers aren't able to grow or sell much weed here anymore so they've shifted Mexican grows to opium poppies for heroin and are using the same exact distribution channels they once used for pot.
How's that for an education?

No sign of safety risks with longterm pot use for chronic pain
Researchers at McGill in Canada found no serious effects from 2.5g/day.

While the medical use of cannabis has expanded, there's little data available regarding its safety. Although the drug has been used (recreationally and medically) by humans going back far into prehistory, it was criminalized by the time researchers began conducting rigorous clinical trials. Consequently, almost every news story one reads about the use of cannabis as a medical therapy contains some variation of disclaimer saying "more research is needed" into the longterm safety of medical cannabis use.

Now a tiny bit of that "more research" has been published in the Journal of Pain. The headline result was that there was no increase in the number of serious adverse events in a group that used cannabis for chronic pain when compared to a group that did not. As the authors point out in the paper, the "lack of data on the safety and efficacy of cannabis is a major barrier to physicians’ involvement [in prescribing medical cannabis]."

Union negotiates first Oregon cannabis worker contract, hopes for more

As the Oct. 1 launch of recreational marijuana sales nears, one labor union is looking to organize cannabis workers in Oregon.

United Food & Commercial Workers Local 555 recently negotiated a three-year contract on behalf of employees at a Portland dispensary and hopes to broker similar deals across the state as the cannabis industry takes off, said Jeff Anderson, Local 555 secretary-treasurer.

The initial contract for workers at Stoney Brothers provides for wages starting at $15 an hour for cashiers, $20 an hour for trimmers and up to $32 an hour for master cannabis cultivators. The agreement also guarantees paid holidays and vacation days, pension contributions and employer-subsidized health insurance.

Poll: Economy ranks as number one issue for Vermonters - Poll also shows increased support for marijuana legalization

Vermonters rank the economy as the most pressing issue facing Vermont, according to a poll released by Castleton Polling Institute Wednesday.

According to the survey, marijuana legalization, school consolidation and an ethics commission all have the support of the majority of respondents.

A third of the poll’s 617 respondents said that the economy, jobs and the cost of living are the most important challenges facing the state.

New Bill Would Cut Off Federal Forfeiture Funds For DEA Marijuana Seizures

A new bipartisan bill would eliminate a controversial source of funding for one federal marijuana seizure program. Last week, Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) and Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) introduced the “Stop Civil Asset Forfeiture Funding for Marijuana Suppression Act.” The bill is quite simple: It would prevent the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) from using federal forfeiture funds to pay for its Domestic Cannabis Eradication/Suppression Program. Additionally, the bill would ban transferring property to federal, state or local agencies if that property “is used for any purpose pertaining to” the DEA’s marijuana eradication program.

Under this program, the DEA receives federal forfeiture funds ($18 million in 2013), which it then funnels to over 120 local and state agencies to eliminate marijuana grow sites nationwide. Last year, the program was responsible for over 6,300 arrests, eradicating over 4.3 million marijuana plants and seizing $27.3 million in assets. More than half of all plants destroyed were in California, which also accounted for over one-third of seized assets and nearly 40 percent of the arrests.

Across the country, drug cops have ensnared countless innocent Americans. In February 2014, the DEA seized a college student’s entire life savings, without finding any drugs or charging him with a drug crime. The student, Charles Clarke, has since partnered with the Institute for Justice and sued to win back his cash. In Georgia, the Governor’s Task Force for Drug Suppression raided an Atlanta retiree’s garden last year after spotting suspicious-looking green plants. But the plants weren’t marijuana: They were okra. The task force received federal forfeiture funding through the DEA’s Domestic Cannabis Eradication/Suppression Program.

Groups that want to reform the nation’s drug laws, like the Drug Policy Alliance and the Marijuana Policy Project, are backing Lieu and Amash’s legislation. But regardless of how one views legalizing marijuana or the war on drugs, funding programs with civil forfeiture is unconscionable. Unlike criminal forfeiture, which occurs after a criminal conviction is obtained, under civil forfeiture, law enforcement does not need to convict, much less charge people with a crime to take their property.

What? No censorship on John Jensen's Lake County News Face book page?

What happened to Ron's post John Jensen?

Here is a reminder of what Ron posted just for you John Jensen of Lake County News...

Ron Kiczenski
You apparently don't check your facts before spreading your hearsay as 'fact'. Is your 'news reporting' done with the same care? Either way, you can tune in on Monday starting at 5am and going till about 11am to get the actual facts about your false posts on our FB page (including your calling in live statement). We not only did not do as you claimed, but we did just the opposite. You on the other hand have done exactly what you have accused us of. You have really stepped in it this time jj. You might want to be sober for this one. PS...It's understandable why you don't site any specific day or time or persons who did as you claim because you can't, because such never happened. What does seem clear though is that you are for some reason attempting to undermine the community effort to assure that the KPFZ reaches everywhere it needs to in order to serve all of LC even better. Why would you want to intentionally hurt LC that way jj? Please tune in Monday for the discussion and analysis of these questions and much more.

:)

JJ has been totally wacked since his attempt at attacking Bruce Forsythe burned him. He has been very strange every since. Not that he wasn't strange before that. LOL His paper is just a dead webpage on the Net. He has lost the majority of any friends he had. No one want's to be around the guy, he has turned into a total nutcase. Lizzy please do what's right and dump this guy, he is destroying his life and yours as well.

You should call this John Jensen Watch, since you people are apparently obsessed with him.

October 4, 2015 at 5:20 PM

Thanks for your input jj.LOL!

:)

5:20 It is like I said earlier; if they didn't have a JJ they would have to invent one.

Well my friend the court jester must have his king to watch. We are the king and JJ is the jester. Problem is the king get's rid of the jester if he doesn't like him. And we have had to bring JJ down. He was a part of the old crony GOB network that is falling away. JJ too has fallen away.

Right On!

No need to invent jj when we have the real thing. LOL!

Part 1
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) has released a report for an entrapment with injuries that occurred on the Valley Fire September 12, 2015. The fire burned 76,000 acres 62 miles north of San Francisco.

Four firefighters from a helitack crew that had arrived at the fire via helicopter were on the ground fighting the fire with hand tools when they were surrounded by the fire during initial attack operations and suffered serious burn injuries. Below is an excerpt from the report.

****

“…FC1 directed FF3, FF4 and FF5 to get into the goat pen, which was clear to bare mineral soil. While in the goat pen they observed the fire behavior changing. There was an increase in the wind speed, and an increased number of spot fires in the pine needle duff and leaf litter surrounding them. FF3 saw fire sheeting and swirling across the dirt driveway on the northwest side of the goat pen; several pines torched on the west side of the steel garage.

From the location of RES2, FF2 observed increased fire behavior advancing toward Helitack A’s location. FF2 communicated the increased fire behavior using the radio; FC1 acknowledged FF2’s observation.

At approximately 1402 hours, the brush covered slope to their east completely torched into a wall of flame. The wall of flame sent a significant wave of radiant heat through the goat pen and onto the firefighters. They could feel their faces burning from the radiant heat and all four firefighters ran to the fence, climbed over, and ran towards the steel garage. At the steel garage Helitack A started to deploy their fire shelters.

“May-Day” was transmitted from FC1 and was heard over the radio. From the location of a third residence (RES3), FC2 could hear FC1 say over the radio, “Four have deployed their shelters, near a barn on the right flank.” FF4 had difficulty opening the fire shelter case from the Chainsaw Pack; the clear plastic covering of the fire shelter was soft and melted. FF4 had to remove the gloves to tear the plastic away from the aluminum shell of the fire shelter. FF3 couldn’t get the fire shelter out of the case because the clear plastic cover was melted to the white plastic protective sleeve. FF3 looked up and saw FF4 at the north side (D) of the steel garage. FF3 dropped the fire shelter on the ground and ran to FF4’s location. FF3 and FF4 shared FF4’s fire shelter and stayed together in a crouched position. FC1 and FF5 deployed their fire shelters on the east side (A) of the steel garage. The heat in front of the steel garage was too intense so they moved to the north side (D) of the steel garage with FF3 and FF4 where the atmosphere seemed to be cooler.

Helitack A huddled together shielding the heat away from their already burned faces and hands; each of them could see the visible burns to one another’s faces and hands. FC1 continued to use the radio requesting bucket drops from C1 on their deployment location to cool the atmosphere. FF5 attempted to drink the water from the hydration pack but the water from the mouth piece was too hot to drink. While crouched in their fire shelters next to the steel garage, Helitack A suddenly heard explosions coming from inside the now burning structure. As a group, Helitack A moved a safe distance from the structure. Helitack A eventually crouched along the dirt driveway, separating the dirt garden and the goat pen.
Part 2
From the driveways of RES3 and a fourth residence (RES4), FC2 directed C1 to make bucket drops into Helitack A’s location at the top of the ridge. C1 orbiting above and was unable to get near their location at the top of the ridge due to the thick column of smoke convecting straight up into the atmosphere…”

Part 3
Injuries:

FC1 suffered second and third degree burns to the head, face, ears, neck, back, arms, hands, legs and feet and has had several surgeries. FC1 remains in critical condition and is under the continued care of UCD Burn Center.
FF4 suffered first and second degree burns to the face, head, ears, arms and hands and is under the continued care of UCD Medical Center.
FF5 suffered first and second degree burns to the face, head, ears, arms, foot and hands and is under the continued care of UCD Medical Center.
FF3 suffered first and second degree burns to the face, head, ears, arms and hands and is under the continued care of UCD Medical Center.

The report lists 13 “Safety issues for review and lessons learned”. Here are the first five:

Crews must utilize L.C.E.S [lookouts, communications, escape routes, safety zones] when engaged in firefighting operations.
ALL Ten Standard Fire Orders MUST be obeyed at ALL TIMES.
Personnel MUST wear ALL CAL FIRE APPROVED PPE when engaged in firefighting operation.
Modifying Personal Protective Equipment can alter the protective properties.
Practice and prepare for shelter deployment in adverse and extreme conditions.

Crock of shit county and all the criminals that run, ran, and ruined it. the lake where we get our drinking water looks and smells like $hit.Nepatism. Favortism. To much of NOT MY JOB mentality. criminal county officials not doing the job we pay them to do.

And what exactly are you doing about it, 8:46? Besides whining anonymously?

846 Get in touch with John Jensen at LCN sounds like you two have a lot in common.

October 5, 2015 at 1:44 PM guest/jj/kkk
Knowing the results of your whining why would you continue to whine?

Just know that I will be here to comfort you. LOL!

:)

Hey here are some of the major MJ headlines over the past 5 days....Ya but you know that wise man Farrington says the soul of the county is at stake with MJ.

Hundreds of opioid addicts are being treated with medical marijuana in Massachusetts, with advocates touting the new therapy as a life-changing alternative to a deadly epidemic

New Poll: Swing States Support the Legalization of Marijuana | High Times

Millennial voters in Ohio want legal pot ahead of historic vote

Legalizing Cannabis in Canada Means Billions in Tax, New Jobs

Bruce, you just don't seem to get it. Brian and the SO will only get involved with MJ if at least 1 of 3 things is present; violence, warrants, or illegal weapons. Rick Coel handles the rest. Your "box" is a fig tree of your imagination.

The sun rises without consulting you and it sets the same way.

October 12, 2015 at 9:40 PM
And the tide goes out and the tide comes in without you so what does that say about you? LOL!

:) :)

Exactly what we described should and would happen 940. You must remember only having Coel involved has never been the case in the LC. But since we drew the line in the sand, it is this year and will remain so. So yes, thank you due to our efforts Martin is out, no more busts of community grows, and that is the way it will stay, and Martin knows to stay in the box and be a good boy. Done deal, glad you agree.

Sorry can you post my comment as anonymous. Oops thanks

Lovelace..
A huge grow in Middletown WAS hit before the Valley Fire. Deputies took everything although no one was arrested. All cell phones and drivers licenses were taken as well.

Why no arrest. How huge was the grow? They said that we had 900 plants when they came to my place. there were 6 other grows in the neibhorhood that got popped. brought everyone elses plants to our property and mulched it and left it. no one got arrested except us cause we had mexicans ( not illegal ) workers on our grow. we had scrips for it all, no one bothered to look.OOPS.

It was the SO Task Force that found and eradicated the 5,000 plants in the unnamed vineyard owned by the unnamed winery.
Why the cover up for the winery Brian?

:(

Give em hell Wa! nobody got arrested hmmmm. must be a family member.

Hey uh anyone here what's the cause of the Valley fire ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Ask again after the investigation completes.

Ha ha ha the investigation completes, don't you mean at this point the finishing touches on the scam job that we are going to hear. What will it be, a unknown arsonist? Two arsonist? They were never caught? Uh an unknown cause to be listed. Uh what ever the reason is at this point it is going to be a lie. I am just curious since it is going to be bullshit to protect either the state or the county or both, why not just come out with the lie and be done with it. Hell all the rings in their nose people like you are going to believe it anyway. LOL

Every once in a great while the Lovelace group has the opportunity to actually thank a supervisor for a job well done. Never have we done so with Brown, Smith, Farrington, Commie, or Rushing, but we do have the chance to do so now. As many of you know we went to Supervisor Steele on an issue at the Nice Lucerne cutoff road. A major environmental issue was present, via a junk yard of boats, motors, trailers, and other hazardous waste being stored on the property. This individual was working in concert with Rick Coel, Kathy and others in code enforcement to hide this serious situation. Rick Coel and others in code told this individual to put up screening and fencing to hide this situation so as not to be caught or turned in. Lovelace was given this information and we investigated and surveyed the property. What we found was very very very bad. We contacted Mr. Steele,( by the was this was in Farrington's jurisdiction) but of course Farrington could not be given this issue and be expected to handle it, so we bypassed him and went to Steele. Supervisor Steele jumped on that horse and road it hard. He reported to us that laughably code tried to tell him, they had gotten real busy and did not act on it yet!!! Ya right. Anyway, supervisor Steele pushed hard and the lot is now nearly clear of the boats, and hazardous conditions that existed. We the Lovelace group want to thank supervisor Steele for following up on this and taking care of business. This is how Lovelace has always handled situations that come to our attention. This is exactly what the RB and LCN would never do, never investigate and in fact would help to hide the GOB who owned the property. As a side note the individual living on the property is actually the son of the owner. The son was quoted as saying "Oh the county knows about this and they told me to hide it with bamboo fencing". He also said his father was rich and we should not mess with him!!! Ha ha ha who's your daddy now punk. Never never threaten LL with that kind of crap, it won't fly. It was his daddy's boat storage facility in the Eastbay that daddy closed and told his son to take all the crap to his property at the cutoff. So done deal thank you Mr. Steele, good job and thanks for the help. But let's always remember we in the Lovelace group judge not by affiliation, but by individual action. We may hammer you on one issue, and thank you on another. This is how the county must be run. This is how LL roles.

Just by there today and the out of zoning wreaking yard eye sore can still be seen from the cut off.
A wreaking yard for boats neatly lined up with some undercover is still a environmental threat.

:(

Yes Wa true, it is still being worked on and not totally complete. It is already a thousand times better the what we originally found. Worry not we are ensuring that the job is totally done and watching carefully. Imagine removing 100 or so boats and trailers etc. It took him many months to accumulate and move it all from the original storage facility. Some of the boats are going to the boat races people, etc. But thanks for watching with us. We also have several people who live in the area, whose housing values would be effected if allowed to continue so we have a pretty good idea of how it is going and what the pace is. We estimate it is 70% complete perhaps a bit less.

Code enforcement is a joke. i wish they gave me a chanch like that but i am not rich so i got destroyed. welcome to lake county.

you know what they say. money talks bullshit walks.

October 13, 2015 at 6:39 PM

Right On!

:)

You have to remember Coel is a born again cult like religious dude. Every other word is God this. God that, God willing etc etc. Well you know how honest those Religiously folks are.

Why is no one talking of keeping Rick Coel in a box?

Hey anyone hear what the cause of the valley fire was? You know that fire that ended almost a month ago, you know the fire that killed 5 people. You know the valley fire, Cobb the one that started right at the Heliport. You know where an incident was reported prior to the fire?? Where they know exactly where it started and when??? That fire??? Anyone?? Media? Hello???

11:57... I don't ask growers those kinds of questions. Lol... None of them are connected to anyone in Lake county. They definitely aren't connected to GOB's , BOS... etc. They all live out of state , southern East Coast. They have no idea why they weren't arrested. They were raided the day before the Valley Fire broke out.

2:08... The grow I referred to in Middletown isn't the Vineyard raid. The Middletown raid happened the day before the Valley Fire. They've got no family here and no friends who are in an authoritative position.

Jim Steele voted to give himself a 10% raise. He is exactly like the rest of the losers on the BOS, in fact he's worse because he's double dipping, collecting a Calpers pension on top of his BOS salary. He votes with the majority virtually every time. We need to get rid of all of them!

Jim Steele, collecting two government salaries and still not showing any effort.
Olga Steele (also collecting a government salary and a really huge one).
We are the 1 percent.

Hey there little people, you are paying for our very comfortable lifestyle - way better than you can imagine - we love it and we don't even pay taxes on it. How's that grab ya?

Thanks much! From Jim and Olga Steele. The 1% ers you think are looking out for your interests. boneheads.

Good morning I am sure today we will hear the cause of the valley fire huh?

You will hear the cause when they finish polishing up the picture they want you to see. And not until then. Where is local media at in asking these questions?

This is a capitalistic sociaty, if you don't like it then change it.

Feel the Burn?

:)

How are taxpayer funded pensions capitalism? That's socialism. Jim should donate his salary like Rob does, otherwise he's just a double dipping one percenter.

You heard it here first Rob Brown will run again for supervisor. LOL and with the self depreciating destroy ourselves mentality of the GOB's in this county he will have another term in office. Oh this poor poor county it's ability to self destruct continues down the merry merry road. But of course you heard it here first from the Lovelace group. Robby will allow us another 4 years to beat his ass, and another 4 years for Fatboy to continue his participation in our counties last place in the state membership!!! Ha ha ha poor Lake County.

OK next hammering from the Lovelace group and yes another we told you so. In brief the aftermath of the Valley fire is turning into a total mess. This is and will be our version of Katrina. Why you ask, well glad you did, it is because FEMA was called and this is a government agency and it is destroying any ability to dig out from this mess. FEMA is using only one agency for clean up and no one else can participate. This company is charging 40,000 dollars per lot. And you can do nothing on your own. Down to the smallest of things such as old Lino they say may have hazardous waste asbestos in it. All people who want to have their lot cleaned must submit to ardous testing of the dirt. If anything is found even in the smallest amount you are a dead player. Only two permits to build hae been issued and those are to Mark Mitchell construction. Those poor two people are going to find themselves in a house that costs 3 times what it will be worth when it is done, and no one around as neighbors. The red-tape the nightmare all of it is beginning. Just as we told you it would. If you go to any of the homeowners ask questions you will indeed see the seething anger that is starting in the burn areas. Now the beauty is all local media will report nothing of this, will do no investigation, and will keep putting up grand headlines as if something great is going on. It is a nightmare and it is just starting. We will not post all the details of what the insurance companies are doing and the rest of it. But to say the least, we told you so. Who ever the two idiots are that told Mitchell to rebuild, someone get to them and tell them the massive error of their ways. Mitchell won't you can be sure.

You are all urged to go to this webpage called the Intercept. If you want the truth about the conditions in your federal government, in the CIA,DIA, NSA, Homeland security and more this is the place to go. These people are top notch and their technical intelligence and ability to keep the government hounds from discovering their sources and methods is stunning to say the least. This is the real deal. Their recent revelations is on the American Drone killing program, and there is a direct line to the president. The reporting on this is on their front page now. Bookmark it, watch it and stay informed as to what your government is really doing when they piss on your leg and tell you it is rain.

It is important to always remember that what you see on the outside is not the real reality. John Jensen, the CCIU, the State and other agencies thought they had Lovelace, when they opened their hands for what they grabbed for they had nothing. It is up to all of us to fight with every ounce of power, sophistication, technical prowess, slight of hand and determined awareness against these types of forces, even down to little JJ, who thought he was something, got sucked in, and spit out, like dirty chewed tobacco.

This is the Lovelace Group of Concerned Citizens

Right On!

Did that Jensen fella ever cut his ties to that KKKlint fella?

:)

2:39 You are correct in saying that "you heard it here first" concerning Rob running again, but I posted it over a week ago saying there was only one way for you to be proven wrong when you claimed Rob was not running for fear of you. That way was for him to run.

There are two things which made Rob's decision. One is that Beau Moore lost his house in the fire. The other is that those in federal political office requested continuity from supervisors in the upcoming years in dealing with the recovery from the Valley Fire.

I have learned a few things from this site, but this was not one of them.

The county payroll has been used for chopper lessons, computer forensic training, three tries at a law license and lord knows what else.
Why not use county payroll to pay alimony for a couple more years? LOL!

:)

Rob was not running due to his fear of what will come his way. You seem to think he still is not in fear. Since we came on the scene Rob's life has gone down the shitter. He has lost his family, been exposed as a cheat, a malcontent, a tax evader, a foreclosure king, and much much more. No where else could you find that information then on this Blog. Beau Moore did lose his house but Beau was shakier then a 3 dollar bill to say the least, so it is either dipstick one or dipstick two. Again the saddest aspect of this is the continued destruction of our county by those who would actually support a Neanderthal like Rob. However it is the way of this county. Sad but true, and if Rob goes another 4 years it will simply be a continuation of the same failure that he has lead for so many long long years.

The feds wanted Rob to say supervisor because of the Valley fire!!!!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha LOL LOL oh jezzzzzzz now that made my day!!!!

Ya golly would would we do with out our supervisors to recover from the fire??? Ha ha that is the best laugh of the day. What idiot posted that beauty. He he

continuity from supervisors in the upcoming years October 15, 2015 at 3:52 PM ?

That's one way to guarantee Lake county to remain the poorest county in the state.

:( :(

Intercept reports that 90% of Obama Oked drone strikes did not hit intended targets and killed civilians. This source for the Intercept is now being called the second Snowden. Obama is making Bush look like Mother Teresa. Right wing left wing all the same bird.

White house announced today along with an Obama press conference that now 5500 more troops will be kept in Afgan. Despite Obama pledge that he would stop our presence in the Middle East war zone. Can you say NOT!! Now before he leaves office he will have furthered no less then 3 wars. In Syria, Afgan. and now back to Iraq. When you don't go to war to win it, this is what happens. Nice try brother now back to community organizing where you started. I guess Bill Clinton was right when he said, this "guy" (Obama) would be serving us coffee a year a go. Yikes. Top that off with the Black community having higher unemployment, higher crime, and higher drug use and arrests. Boy he really took care of business. This could be the worst US president in history at this point, it is all falling apart.

Obama said he wanted to end the two wars for his legacy, now there are 3 wars, and each is worse then when he took office. Wow not good.

Poor Bush, He never gets a honorable mention when it comes to starting the war in the first place.

Good morning, anyone know the cause of the valley fire? I am sure they have announced it by now right? I mean they know exactly where it started and how it started, Down to the foot of it's ignition point. Soooo we all must have just missed the announcement eh? Local Media I am sure has checked with CalFire for the announcement right?

You can relax, Cal Fire will put out a press release once the cause is determined with certainty and no amount of adolescent nagging will speed the process.
Bear in mind they've already said that determination could take months and that this is the 3rd most destructive fire in California history.
Not the sort of thing that gets a quickie investigation.

503 is right, you people need to start using your heads and doing your homework. You sound like people who actually believe and listen to either Fox news or CNN. Both of which are bias left or right. It is sad to think you people actually listen to the news and don't do your own research. Poor saps.

Ha ha ha 517 posted anonymously> LOL

6:01. Lol. You are real whackanut!

Hey, Bruce, learn the difference between "your" and "you're". It will make you look smarter than you are. Next we'll work on "then" and "than".

Hey jj, learn the difference between enough to drink and 2 much 2 drink and then maybe you will have something to contribute.

Nah, we love it to much when that as always is your only response. You think we would change that now. We have been posting for 6 years dude. And that's what you punks come up with?? LOL golly wez sure iz worryed abouts youz.

"to much"? How about "two much"?

Ya like people give a crap what you think 643 he he he

Hey anyone here the cause of the Valley fire over the weekend. Golly I must have missed it. Just go ahead post right here for those who heard.

Advocates hail Colorado legal pot as success
A year after state legalized the drug, business groups and public officials say new rules help Colorado

Well well well that legalization sure takes the Soul of a community away don't it Farrington: LOL

A year of legalized recreational marijuana in Colorado has brought the Rocky Mountain state significant savings, reduced crime rates and tax revenue gains from the sale of the plant and its byproducts, according to a study published Tuesday by a drug policy reform group.

The Drug Policy Alliance (DPA) examined state statistics and found Colorado saved millions of dollars because it was no longer locking up as many people for marijuana violations. Police arrested only 1,464 people for marijuana-related offenses, compared to 9,011 in 2010 before legalization, according to the study.

"Given that arrests such as these cost roughly $300 to adjudicate, it is reasonable to infer that the state is saving millions in adjudicatory costs" for marijuana-related arrests and prosecutions, the study said.

Additionally, tax revenue from recreational marijuana sales brought in at least $40.9 million into the state’s coffers.

“We’ve had great experience in Colorado and we hope the rest of the country can learn from that,” Rep. Jared Polis, D-CO, said Tuesday during a teleconference. “I’m encouraged by the general direction.”

Start planning now LC. Turn this county into a full scale MJ community, Bistros, shops, sales, manufacturing, a totally open environment, hey and even the one thing wine has never accomplished Tasting Rooms!!!!! That actually stay open for more then a couple of months.

Ahhhhhh yes finally an economic solution to the LC's blight. Right GOB's? Gob's are you there?

“We’ve had great experience in Colorado and we hope the rest of the country can learn from that,” Rep. Jared Polis, D-CO, said Tuesday during a teleconference. “I’m encouraged by the general direction.”

The Colorado law, approved by voters in a 2012 referendum, legalizes the possession, sale and cultivation of marijuana plants for adults 21 and over.

Crime rates have dipped since Colorado enacted the law, according to the report. It found a 9.5 percent drop in burglaries in Denver and an 8.9 percent decline in overall property crime in the city.

“The doomsday vision of those who support continued prohibition has not come to fruition,” said Art Way, the DPA’s Colorado director.

Way, who called marijuana a “gateway” into the criminal justice system elsewhere, said the Colorado law had made the system less unfair.

Another benefit of legalization has been the elimination or reduction of so called slush funds or buy offs District Attorneys would employ to squeeze money out of growers, filling their coffers but creating a illegal prosecuting system for Marijuana crimes.

The report also noted that fears of a spike in traffic fatalities, voiced by the Colorado Dept. of Transportation, did not materialize. Deaths dipped a bit in the first 11 months of 2014, down to 436 from 449 the year before. With none of those deaths attributed to Marijuana directly.

Boy GOB's ya can say that about wine and Keystone here in the LC can ya. A reduction in traffic fatalities!!! Well go figure huh boys? When will you boys start listening to Lovelace?

7:10 You will hear (not here) the cause of the Valley Fire when you hear the causes of all the other fires that took place in California this year.

That's pretty funny, a bunch of anonymous cockroaches challenging a critic to approach personally. You dumbshits are too dense to notice the contradiction. No, you're a lot of garbage eating bugs who scatter when the light goes on. Hiding under the refrigerator is the only way you chickenshits know how to operate.

The career criminal that started the Valley Fire is in custody. The investigators want to make sure they have an airtight case. Maybe my source can find out the first name of the perp?

Anonymous??? Everyone knows who is in the Lovelace group. You must be new punk. And hey garbage can be quite good when cooked right ya know!

We already know that 756, and yes finding out who it is would be fine. The point is there is no reason why they would not say we have an arsonist situation. We will not give his name at this time. And we are working forward with evidence and prosecution processes. They did not do this, and just as LL has said they have kept it even to that level secret. Now, for clarity, if someone would like to show the arrest mug shot etc that they must have and all the pertinent information to prove this is the case and not just a scam job to fool they people, because it is a county or state employee who started the fire that also would be just fine. At this point in time we must continue to ask what is the cause of the Valley fire and what is the exacting proof of this so called suspect. In the end they will have to come clean, and they will have to show proof. Also, what they have done has no excuse, some information should have been put out even if they held back other information and they did not and have not.

New evidence just out is showing amazing medical benefits to smoking MJ: Warning to the GOB's you ain't going to like this one boys:

Right now, medical marijuana is commonly used to treat nausea, chronic pain, glaucoma and a range of other issues.

But that might not be all that the drug can do. Several studies have uncovered some surprising potential for medicinal pot.

First up, cancer. Marijuana is already commonly used to alleviate some of the painful symptoms of cancer and chemotherapy, but there's some research suggesting marijuana can actually delay or reduce tumors. (Video via CNN)

THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, has been shown to reduce tumor growth in lab mice and human tissue; researchers believe the chemical triggers certain receptors that prevent tumors from growing.

Second up, the lungs. Despite all the coughing jokes, marijuana isn't linked to lung damage –– in fact, it may improve how lungs function. (Video via Columbia Pictures / "Pineapple Express")

A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found while cigarette smoke damaged lungs, moderate marijuana smokers showed greater lung capacities than non-users.

One of the researchers told Time that inhaling deeply when smoking pot could be a sort of exercise that helps expand lung capacity.

Next, the brain. Marijuana has even been shown in some studies to boost creativity —

British researchers found marijuana increased the verbal fluency of participants who ordinarily tested low for creativity. Verbal fluency is a test where you say as many words as you can beginning with a certain letter.

Last but not least: your waistline. In spite of the so-called munchies, evidence shows smoking marijuana is associated with lower rates of obesity and diabetes. (Video via New Line Cinema / "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle")

And a study published in The American Journal of Medicine found that smokers have smaller waists than non-smokers.

Well pot belly Brian Martin has been barking up the wrong tree, look at that last line Martin, MJ offers a cure for you pot belly!!! Now GOB's think of this you can pound the Keystone as you always do, and keep that nice lean waist line. It's a bonus guys!!

You think we are not the dumbest voters in the world. Check this link out. They asked mostly young women if they support Hilllary's platform of spreading Sharia law as one of her main campaign strategies: LOL now do you see why she will be your next president!!! Oh God this is scary.

Phil Murphy and Bob Blackmoore. Discussion, call in about current events, local politics, in the news.
(Replay Thursday night at midnight)

On November 2, The Daily Beast pointed to recent statements from President Obama and Hillary Clinton regarding the implementation of Australian-style gun confiscation and suggested “civil war could erupt on American soil” if any administration actually tried to confiscate privately owned firearms. The Daily Beast theoretically agreed that “confiscation on a massive scale” may be “the only way to solve American gun violence,” but they pointed out that it was not realistic and suggested Hillary risks causing irreparable divisions by talking about confiscation then mocking gun owners as conspiracy theorists waiting for “black helicopters” to come take their guns away.

According to The Daily Beast, confiscation was workable in Australia because there was no Second Amendment and the government only had to take 650,000 guns. That is a far cry from the “350 million” believed to be in Americans’ hands.

Yes, “350 million.”

But even more important than the number of guns is the depth of American “devotion” to them. And The Daily Beast observes that it is this devotion–this dedication to the philosophy and tradition underlying the right to keep and bear arms–that turns the mere mention of confiscation into something that could literally rip the country apart.

The Daily Beast put it thus, “The prospect of confiscation—as much as it might, theoretically, reduce drastically or even eliminate gun crime altogether—is simply impossible in the United States.” They pointed to statements by Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson, who stressed that Jews could have curtailed the Holocaust had they retained their guns. The Daily Beast suggests Carson hit on something “Second Amendment enthusiasts are fond of arguing,” namely, “that gun rights are enshrined in the Constitution not only for the sake of hunters or people who want to protect their homes and businesses from criminals, but also to allow the population to resist an overreaching government.”

Breitbart News previously reported that Founding Father James Madison used Federalist 46 to make that very point–that armed citizens could band together and resist their government, should it tend toward tyranny. And he pointed out that this demonstrated American exceptionalism inasmuch as citizens of other nations, lacking arms, also lacked the ability to resist.

"Clinton can joke all she likes about Americans fearing “black helicopters” taking their guns away, but it is no exaggeration to suggest that civil war could erupt on American soil were the U.S. government to attempt anything remotely resembling what was done in Australia."

7:38 Bruce, you should post how that all worked out for the Australians? Crime and gun related crime has gone through the roof after giving up their guns! You will never get that information from the liberal media.

How long has it been since Australia's last mass shooting?
Just wondering.

:)

Were guns taken away from Aussies to prevent mass shootings? I am not sure they ever had one. They did it to prevent crime and look what has happened to that.

Liberals never look more than one chess move ahead and this is a classic example of that... the law of unintended consequences.

Australia hasn't witnessed a single mass shooting since a massacre 10 years ago prompted nationwide gun law reforms, according to a study Thursday that linked the tough laws with a dramatic reduction in firearm deaths.

1013 In 1996, 28-year-old Martin Bryant finished his lunch in a café in the seaside resort of Port Arthur and pulled out a semi-automatic rifle. In the first 15 seconds of his attack, he killed 12 and wounded 10. In all, he shot more than 50 people in six locations, killing 35. The worst mass shooting in Australia's history capped a violent decade of mass shootings that killed nearly 100 – and Australians had had enough.

Only 12 days later, Prime Minister John Howard – a conservative who had just been elected with the help of gun owners – pushed through not only new gun control laws, but also the most ambitious gun buyback program seen in recent memory.

In the last 16 years, the risk of dying by gunshot in Australia has fallen by more than 50 percent. The national rate of gun homicide is one-thirtieth that of the United States. And there hasn't been a single mass shooting since Port Arthur.

In the last 19 years

Austrailia's gun related murders rose 300 percent after they gave up there guns! All other crimes rose also. Go read it for yourself.

"Everyone knows who is in the Lovelace group." Seriously? Talk about delusions of grandeur! Hey, if that's true, why don't you sign your posts, take some responsibility? Or are you too chickens?

Because we love you asking questions, for which you have no control over. We love the fact you are so upset. You must realize that for 6 years we have controlled you. We have created your enemies, we have given you your cause, and that cause is against us. You see little man always remember that perception created is at times far more important then the actual truth. Your ignorance allows us to create perception. Just ask Jensen, the perception we created caused John to get in trouble and get blown out of the water. It is really simple, we create what you fight against. You always take the bait, just like you are taking it now.

We create problems for others to clean up. Why? Because we're the sharpest tools in the shed and that's what tools do.

Poor guest...

.NO MORE KEYSTONE!
Relax GOB's that is the pipeline not your preferred alcoholic brand of beer.LOL!

:)

Very Good 904, it only took you an hour, when we first started the Blog, you counterparts searched for months looking for who Loxley was. Ha ha ha ha we finally had to let them know it was Robin Hood!!! We did change the credo just a bit, as what we have done is taken from the power of the GOB's and given it to the citizens. But quoting Kenny Rogers "you get the jist right" Keep on following the carrot boy you doing good.

Phil Murphy get arrested?

Ok< So what happen to Mr. Lockett at court today. Anybody know??

Oh ya Phil got arrested, its all over the net man. He was popped for wearing a clown costume to a GOB event trying to blend in. Jezzz everyone knows that by now. Catch up man. Mitchell/Brown/and Martin did not like it, they said he was illegally trying to steal their identity.

LOL ha ha ha why have we always been so much funnier then the GOB's, they simply have no sense of humor.

Why is Phil in lockup? What was he was arrested for, by whom and when, the booking log looks near empty. Wouldn't it be funny if it were DUI? He's so anti grape that would be hilarious.

Approving every item unanimously brought to motion, the BOS also made some other changes to the county, especially the sheriff’s office. It passed a resolution that moved the Office of Emergency services to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and followed that up with another one that increased the salary of the Emergency Services Manager by 7.5 percent.

LOL the BOS passed another pay increase without citizen input to along with their 10% increase. Ha ha ha for those of you that work in the LC when was the last time you got a 7.5 to 10% increase???? Oh these GOB's love sticking it to you citizens.

7:20 You conveniently forgot to mention that Ohio rejected legal pot 2 to 1.

Ya it appears OHIO is as stupid as the LC GOB's!!! He he he

Phil and his friend were busted for pot. How convenient for the GOB's.

Phil, don't let it get you down. Keep pounding on the Goobers. If Rob can grow weed, why can't Phil. Maybe Brian can change his address to a GPS coordinate, like he did for Rob.

LL is there a place were we can donate money for Phil's legal defense? Please advise.

Keep up the good work Phil. Fuck the bastards!

...or maybe Conwell!
