The answer to your question 231 is "yes" the price must be paid for the role they played in not supporting their members equally. They did exactly what they were not designed for,they catered to Mitchells wishes so they could keep their own "advantages" in place. This does not include all DSA members as a whole, as there are some who are not apart of the corrupt networt supporting Mitchell. Had the DSA been smart early on they should have carried out a vote of no confidence. The public would have held them in high regard if they had done so. Now they are seen as simply Mitchell supporters. It has hurt them terribly to be seen as part of the Mitchell elitist network.
 

The local DSA and their Exc. Board can be sued along with the the DSA state union for failure to properly represent an employee. There is nothing more dispicable than union leaders in bed with management.

You guys have my respect. Keep in mind that the people backing Rivero want to buss you guys down to the voting precinct. They see the tribal Communities as big business. Big votes, just like the Baxter voters. To me that seems kind of manipulative; "here get on this cattle car, because you don't have transportation". I agree, the LCSO needs to have a close relationship with Tribal Lands. That's between you and the LCSO. I was not aware there was this problem. Is the LCSO welcome on your land?

Boy you are out of the loop on the realtionship between Mitchell and the Tribal lands. The relationship is poor at best, and the issues go back many years. You rather drab cattle car comment is not going to set well with those fine people. There are a couple of wonderful individuals who have been working with the Tribal communities to get the vote out and get them registered and help them with transporation if necessary. Your lack of understanding that not everyone in the county has a car is troubling at best, and to tell the tribal folks that they have to jump on a cattle car is a very insensitive statement. These are proud people, and their value to the community is not tribal gaming, it is their wonderful history and contributions to our county over many many years. These comments of yours and your lack of understanding are some of the reasons why they do not respect Mitchell nor his GOB's. Did you read the comments of Garzoli in the Insurance forum presented to Anita Grant and the BOS, you should do that it sounds a lot like you only worse. To think that you can use such abusive language toward these people and then say you respect them because of Tribal gaming is just stunning. I would say you just lost Mitchell a lot of votes but the fact of the matter is he does not have their votes in the first place, because of exactly what you portray.

I live in a small county that currently has 3 casinos. There were four but the
"tribe" shot it to pieces and then burned it along with half the houses on the
Rancheria down in a war that lasted two weeks, and costs the local government and
state hundreds of thousands of dollars to deal with. And after all that, the govt
is going to rebuild their houses (that they shot uop and burned intentionally) for
free?? What the hell kind of crap is that???? the remining rancherias that have
casinos, have yet to be cleaned up. They still have the same piles of garbage
lying around the front door of their broken down shacks, BUT THERES A BRAND NEW
$40K SUV PARKED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MESS!!!!

Im against all of this indian self reliance. What our ancestors did hundreds of
years ago is no longer an excuse for their own lack of self reliance. The want
ads in our newspaper is filled with jobs and because of their race are eligible
for minority preference in hiring!!!!!!! There is no reason for casinos unless
they are going to pay substantial taxes to the local government and or it is legal
for anyone wanting to open a casino.

One more thing. I know from first hand experience, that with the three casinos in
my county, the biggest problems the casinos have is keeping the native americans
that work there and that live on the rancherias from stealing them blind! Local
law enforcment is constantly investigating dealers cheating with other tribal
memebers, embezlling money etc.

They should just get a real job, for they are not struggling becasue of their race
they are struggling because of their personal work ethics values

and we are seeking to purchase or lease purchase an R44. I recently
received a memo from the county that we are eligible to apply for $850K
in Indian gaming money. However, the program has some VERY restrictive
requirements (which I suspect was written like this to intentionally
give the impression the casinos are "giving back" when in actuality no
agency can really meet the requirements of the funding, thereby not
really costing the casinos a dime). Anyway, below is the criteria. I am
hoping there may be people smarter than me out there than have some
creative outside the box ideas on how we can grab some of this cash.

One will be by Kip Ringen who has written a great article on the Patriot guard he works with, very interesting. There will an article on the new God in our society which is your credit rating, and as well an article on WikiLeaks. So lot's of good stuff coming up, and thanks for all your support. Good morning Lake County, that was a hell of a day of posting yesterday and last night, thanks to everyone for participating. It seems that if we can get the corruption supporters to actually communicate in an intellectual manner with out the name calling and whining, they actually begin to see the light. That is when they really have to answer the questions outright and directly it can serve to change their own minds. Now that percentage is not going to be many, but if they actually engage us they must come to the same conclusion and that is Mitchell must go.There is no question about that, and any right thinking individual who knows the history of Mitchell cannot, unless they are lying to themselves, come to any other conclusion. The kickoff to the campaign taking us into November is getting close to starting. We have to expand our coverage and get ready for what is going to be a busy time on the Blog we should have no capacity issues from Google, and be ready for a couple of months of intense activity. This will be the last push to Mitchell's removal, and oh what a party that is going to be when it is over. Let's roll.
 

Does someone care to investigate this case which has gotten no media coverage since his arrest? He waived prelim a couple weeks ago and was arraigned today on the Information in Lakeport with his attorney Patrick Clancy of The Innocence Legal Team of Walnut Creek. He has refused to waive time with his attorney stating that this case will go to trial which is presently set for Sept. 14. Word is he was offered a misdemeanor but rejected it claiming innocence. In his case though, even a misdemeanor would be devastating as it would cause him to lose his medical license. Anyone have any idea who the complaining victim is?

Rodney has demonstrated his ability to achieve unfavorable result time, after time.

2. ADMINISTRATION:
Rodney excels in simplifying the system and the work load of his deputies. Rodney has policies and procedures in place to reduce this work load. Lake Co. Sheriff Dept. Policy number 01.01.01 "states that Deputies
are NOT allowed to take reports from the Citizens of Lake Co. Deputies are to tell reporting partying "no crime committed"
Deputies are reminded that the Citizens of Lake Co. are losers.

3. CREATIVITY:
Rodney always develops creative ways to intercourse the taxpayers of Lake Co. He excels in creative ways of thinking to avoid problems solving
i.e. (someone else did it, not me: I didn't know that was happening) Rodney seeks old and failed ideas in to problem solving. He fails to remember all the bad ideas and is willing to try them again.

4. LEADERSHIP:
Rodney fails to show any true leadership ability. Rodney has demonstrated this many times. He fails to take control of anything. Rodney promotes a negative learning environment to protect himself from others that are better leaders.

5. LOYALTY AND DEDICATION:
Rodney has shown NO loyalty or dedication to the Citizens of Lake. co.
Rodney only wants his monthly paycheck and to protect his friends.
 

Message to the citizens of Lake County: As we are now into August it will not be long and the campaigning will begin for a number of positions in our county. The race we want to talk with you about is the sheriff race between Frank Rivero and Rodney Mitchell. We urge all citizens to look at the record of Rodney Mitchell, we ask you to review the Dinius case and the terrible handling of that tragic situation. We urge you to look at Garzoli who has been fired and see what lack of ladership did in this situation. We ask all the citizens to look carefully at Mitchell's 15 years history of terrible leadership, lost officers who have been fired or otherwise run into to trouble. We also ask you to look at the Rully scam that was attempted on Frank Rivero. Last we ask you to consider the infidelities of Rodney Mitchell where one individual actually had to call the radio show debate and inform the public of what Mitchell did not only to a person's family but to his own. In the end it is you the citizens that must look into the facts and conditions of both these individuals and we know if you do you will cast your vote for Frank Rivero as our new and progressive Lake County sheriff.

We are going to leave that comment up so the public can see how the Mitchell supporters think. The question was concerning the investigation into the jail suicide. There are a number of situations in place concerning that. First the family has been instructed not to talk to anyone concerning this situation, you can guess why that is, can you say lawsuit. Bauman in his press release indicated he was not on suicide watch based on the time lines he gave concerning the cell checks. It was known upon his arrest that he was a risk. His parents called the jail a number of times telling them he was a risk and no measures were taken. So the issues are significant and they will be followed up on. The situation was given to the DA for investigation, but of course that is like letting the elephant guarding the peanuts. More to come.

Project Innocence is different then the Innocence Legal Team. That's the fancy name Patrick Clancy has given his firm. Clancy's a lawyer who specializes in defending child molesters and rapists. Google him. The doctor is still practicing medicine, but if he is convicted his license will be revoked. Currently the state medical board is involved in a parallel proceeding and there is some kind of agreement that he won't examine women without a nurse in the room, or something to that effect. The victim's name is confidential by law. I think it's interesting that the lawyer waived prelim in this case, that means he knew the DA would get a holding order, which means the defense attorney thinks there was probable cause for the case to go forward. There was an arrest warrant too, which a judge (probably Hedstrom, because it's a south county case) signed off on, which means that the judge thought there was probable cause for an arrest. Trial's on Sept. 14, should be inetresting.
 

Did you ever think Lovelace that we would be voting for a new sheriff and to legalize marijuana at the same time? Now that is funny! The voters told Mitchell in June they want change and he LOST. The November elections will bring changes a new sheriff and marijuana legalized. The legalization of marijuana has nothing to do with Rivero, it will be the approval of the voters in Ca. and looks like it will pass. The old ways on both issues are not working.
 

Judges in Lake County now that is an honorable group . They sign off on anything the DA brings them .
 

Lets see, Mitchell has done the following so far.

1. Refuses to work with the new Indian Police force.
2. Could not manage Perdock.
3. Lied to the BOS (remember, "not to that extent").
4. Could not handle Garzoli.
5. Refused to promote any minority deputy.
6. Allowed sexist comments to be made by his staff about female employees.

8. Fired Beland for telling the truth.
9. Fired Morshed because he supported Rivero (HEY STILL NOT ONE CHARGE AGAINST MORSHED).
10. Didn't know how to review a DEA grant.
11. Retaliated against deputies who stood up to him.
12. Rusty Wright (not one charge relating to the Sheriff's Office).

As many citizens know there has been a significant ongoing issue in the city of Clearlake which has been reported on for several months. A few months ago word was received that Officer Brady of the Clearlake Police Department(who is an African American) was being terminated. In an amazing display of public support, heavy Blog activity, and confrontations with the Clearlake City Council as well as questioning Chief McClain concerning this decision, officer Brady became emboldened and has been fighting for his job. During the course of this battle it was reported that a former Police officer named Mike Hermann (a white individual) was going to be brought back into the CLPD. This despite a rather suspect past history and the anger of the citizens of Clearlake who in no way support or supported in the past, Officer Hermann. This anger has been expressed on the Clearlake police forum on the Manifest, and on the Blog. Chief McClain's e-mail address was distributed and the citizens brought a lot of power to bear on the city of Clearlake, the council and Chief McClain.

We have just been informed by an anonymous source close to the action in Clearlake that Officer Hermann will not be brought back to the department, we have also been told that Mr. Brady has one final appeal pending with the City Council, Mr. Brady lacking confidence that the Council will rule in his favor, is submitting papers to run for the Clearlake city council.
 

More news, this morning as some of you may know a sheriffs officer shot and killed a individual who it is reported pointed a rifle at officers who came to a pot grow in Middletown. The name of the officer and the name of the individual has not been reveled to the public. Sheriff's officer Martin indicated that the officer has not been placed on leave as is normal in an officer involved shooting. Martin only indicated that it is likely. As usual the DA is been advised to investigate this unfortunate situation. Please post if you know the name of the officer and or the victim of this incident.
 

More news, Federal court has struck down proposition 8, the opposition forces for Proposition 8 say they will take it to the Supreme Court. Proposition 8 was against gay marriage in the state of California, and heavy campaigning for and against the proposition was waged prior to its passage. This strikes a heavy blow against the anti-gay front and it now will go to the Supreme Court.
 

Who was the officer? Why would that not be released? The officer's name is always released, who is holding out on the information? There is no excuse for not releasing the name of the individual?
 

No the officer's names is not "always" released. Only when the press has found out about the incident is the name released. There has to be a complete investigation and if the cop is found to be at fault, the DA usually immediately notifies the press. But if the cop is cleared, why should you know that cops name? At that point it can only be used for slander. The Peace Officer's Bill of Rights dictates that the cop is entitled to a fair investigation.
 

Unreal that we have to kill people because of silly pot grows, my God, isn't their surveillance that is done, prior to approaching a grow. It is time to legalize which actually is coming in November and much of this will be unnecessary. It is hard to imagine that the sheriffs department has to go in like gang busters in a big rush and have to shoot a person as a result. I just don't think our sheriffs department is to sharp and execution of this type of thing. This is not bombs that are being manufactured, it is pot. Post 315 the release of his name is not an admonition of his guilt it is simply information, I do not recall for example in the Bart police shooting and any number of other officer involved shootings the officers name being released is standard protocol. the result of what investigations may take place etc. is a mote point. No one is saying the officer was right or wrong in the incident simply that it happened and here who was involved. You can understand them not releasing the name of the victim in regards to potential next of kin etc. or the fact that he may not have even had ID on him. This information is out to the press, it is on the Manifest and a brief story is now up on LCN. In fact the name of the officer should already be out there. It is still amazing that a bunch of sheriffs guys go Rambo up to a pot grow, and one single individual who you would suspect they would know is there via surveillance and proper spotting has to be shot dead because what, the officers just marched in and screamed don't move to a guy with a rifle.

As for pot growers, grow it on your own land. Stop going to the National Forest and ripping up nature. Think of it, you can't even go into the forest and grow grapes or corn so why should marijuana be allowed? Chemicals and fertilizer gets flushed into streams that kill fist. Trash is left at the sites, traps and poison are made to kill deer and other animals from eating the crops.

I have no problem with growers growing it on private property, but leave the forest alone.

Just as an overall update on the events of the day, we posted the information on the city of Clearlake and Hermann not coming into the department, and the additional information concerning Brady having one more appeal to the city council and if as he suspects they reject him he will be running for the city council postion. We support Mr. Brady and will campaign for him and we call on the city council to do what is right, and reinstate him as an officer as well.

The killing of a Hispanic individual in the Middletown area forest land, many questions to be asked in this regard.

The federal court decision to shut down proposition 8 and of course the appeal that will go eventually to the Supreme court. The Clearlake police forum on the Manifest is ringing off the hook lot's of posts and input concerning Brady and Hermann and the events surrounding that situation. Thanks to all the people to all the citizens posting comments and information, this is what the stage is for, the input of the citizens to express their opinions.
 

wouldn't surprise me if the lcso shooter was one of the ones named in the racial profiling complaints, maybe thats why his or her name is not being released. That is a bit harsh I think post 8:00, we could surmise that as the officers approached the scene one would suspect from different angles and directions on the site, there had been surveillance that indicated people attending the grow, if in an instance a person came out on a trail or incoming path there was a split second of a rifle being swung around as the individual went to flee and bang he was put down. To me part of the issue is the LE understand that it is just illegal Hispanics put on these plots by bigger entities and told to guard and care for the patch. The big boys are not going to be there. The LE know's this, so why take any risk because they are just going to get a few illegals that are going to be turned over to boarder patrol. Wouldn't you do a couple of low helo flyovers, or announce with loud speakers you are coming in to the grow? Did they sneek in? Why sneak in, and risk surprise and some confrontation? Were there camera's for surveillance? Motion camera's they trip on with movement, so maybe there is a video of the death? This if planned and really analyzed did not have to be done in this risky a fashion did it? Listen the city of San Jose just is ready to adopt a taxation system for pot and collectives. So the writing is on the wall, and if legalized correctly will virtually eliminate the Mexican Mafia's massive destruction of our national forest lands. But it's going to be legalized at some point. Let's hope no macho mentality caused such a risky entry into that situation, this is pot growing that won't mature till October, you got plenty of time! The one thing that must occur is a wide open transparent investigation, and at the least in the end recommendations as to how these situations should be better handled. I don't think Mitchell has the mentality nor concern to even think in these terms. New leadership is needed, this may be another shining example of Mitchell management incompetence, he has always sucked in that area, oh sure the budget (if you don't count lawsuits) is in line, I can hire an accountant for a lot less then Mitchell's salary to figure out the money and budget.

As a fellow law enforcement officer, I would like to convey my heartfelt gratitude to the brave Deputy that protected our community. One doesn't become a Peace Officer to pull the trigger but it is sometimes a necessary evil. There are so many scenarios that run through your head during a violent confrontation and pulling the trigger is one of the hardest decisions to make. These decisions have to be made in a split second and one of these scenarios is between living or taking the life of another. It's a decision that this Deputy will have to live with for the rest of his/her life and it ways heavy on the soul. I'm sure that he/she feels that it was unfortunate that this person forced them to make the decision, but it was ultimately between protecting themself and the public before allowing a criminal to terrorize the community. I hope this Deputy receives the support they need to get through the coming weeks and thank the people that have posted positive comments, it will truly help ease the pain. God Bless the Sheriff's Department and thank you for your hard, often under appreciated service to the community.
 

I would reminded you, Not one officer was forced to take his oath or join the sheriffs department. They asked. so if the heat is to hot move on. Don't give excuses that they have kids and a family to feed so to justify their lack of loyalty. This lack of dishonesty is to be loathed from people we give so much trust to.
 

You point a gun at a cop (or anyone) expect to be shot! I can't put it in any other words. I can tell you from experience that the cops doing this yell "police" and "policia", wear gear with large words that say "POLICE" and "SHERIFF" on it. This is not Gunsmoke where you can simply shoot the gun from the bad guys hand or wound him. Hell most cops have a hard time just hitting the target at the range and that target is not going to shoot you!

The public has no right to know who the officer was that did the shooting unless the shooting is found to be unjustified. None of your bickering will ever change that. Don't blame Mitchell (although I sure would like to), it's the law.

From my experience, just give it time and it will leak out. Just like deputies in the past who have been involved in shooting like Bean, Rivero, Martin and Anderson to name a few, it always gets out. I just wonder if Mitchell yelled at that cop like he did to Bean.

When trust is lost for the officers in Lake County .Might I ask who would trust what they are saying is true. after all their leader is Mitchell. we hear all the excuses for him to be their guy. We the citizen have been betrayed by them and there upset about our holding their feet to the fire.
 

Oh yes Mitchell did. I was there, in the substation and saw it all. Mitchell was pissed because all that Bean wanted to do is talk to a LDF lawyer before writing his report (which is his right). Mitchell got mad and yelled at Bean to write it. Mitchell had to be escorted into the Sergeant's Office and reminded about the law. Another example of incompetent supervision.
 

News update:

The Lake County Manifest posted an article in mid July written by Joan Moss concerning the case of Kelly Thomas and the writ of Habeas Corpus associated with the unsafe jail conditions of Kelly Thomas and his medical conditions that were not being attended to properly by jail staff. The article described PD Hinely's and Joan Moss's efforts at using the Writ to secure proper jail conditions for Mr. Kelly. Judge Headstrom agreed at the time to not place Kelly back in Jail while court dates for hearing the Writ were waiting. Manifest reporter Joan Moss along with Hinely continued to press the issue and Ms. Moss took the steps of requesting video media coverage of the upcoming Writ hearing. This would have exposed in public the myriad of jail issues in Mitchell's jail operations. This morning Mitchell and county counsel representative Lambert agreed to allow Kelly to serve his remaining 31 days on home detention, he does not have to go back to jail. This is the perfect example of the power of the press and transparency. It is clear that Mitchell would rather have allowed the 31 days on home detention then the exposure of the poor jail operations. There will be a full article posted on the Manifest in the next few days on this interesting outcome.
 

You are so right 939. I respect the deputies at LCSO, but I have a major problem on believing what is said to be true by the supervisors of LCSO. After the Dinius case, Perdock, Garzoligate, Beland, Morshed and Wright who "is" telling the truth at LCSO.

Gregores comments are very nice and I agree with it. I hope to god that nothing is wishy washy in this shooting.

"Law enforcement personnel were investigating a marijuana garden containing several thousand marijuana plants in the area of Socrates Mine Road and Ford Flat Road between Middletown and Cobb. Martin said the garden was located in a remote area approximately half a mile off the road."

The illegal garden allegedly contained several hundred marijuana plants.
Ok, so here we have thousands upon thousands of plants as report by Liz, and then we have several hundred plants reported by the Record Bee????

Now either Brian Martin simply forgot how many plants there were or someone is trying, in their anti-pot paranoia to skew the story in a bias negative manner. The killing of any individual regardless of race is a terrible thing, however keep in mind that when you point something like let's just say a RIFLE!! at a law enforcement officer; chances are you will be shot. Evey time I start top feel sympathy, well that's a stretch. Let's just say understanding towards your viewpoints, one of you reminds me of why I can't justifiably stand in your corner. I'm sorry guys.

I can back Brady. I have seen him work in the field and think he is an awesome officer. I voted for and support Anderson for DA. I really dig Joyce Overton. I remember when she was the mayor. You guys on this blog just lose me.

And the front page of the Press Democrat has the plant count at "planted with thousands of pot plants"..."The garden of immature plants included some that measured 6 feet tall".
 

Why does the plant count mean ANYTHING! The fact is they are raping the Nation Forests, killing the animals and plants and polluting the streams. I don't care if it is ten plants or ten thousand plants. If I can't grow grapes on National Forest property, why should someone be allowed to grow marijuana there?

Like I said, forget the count because it make not one difference.
 

Maybe Mitchell/Hopkins will find out who the "money" is behind the "grow" in Middletown and arrest them for the death of their "gardener". Isn't that how it works here in Lake County?
 

we could surmise that as the officers approached the scene one would suspect from different angles and directions on the site, there had been surveillance that indicated people attending the grow, if in an instance a person came out on a trail or incoming path there was a split second of a rifle being swung around as the individual went to flee and bang he was put down. To me part of the issue is the LE understand that it is just illegal Hispanics put on these plots by bigger entities and told to guard and care for the patch. The big boys are not going to be there. The LE know's this, so why take any risk because they are just going to get a few illegals that are going to be turned over to boarder patrol. Wouldn't you do a couple of low helo flyovers, or announce with loud speakers you are coming in to the grow? Did they sneek in? Why sneak in, and risk surprise and some confrontation? Were there camera's for surveillance? Motion camera's they trip on with movement, so maybe there is a video of the death? This if planned and really analyzed did not have to be done in this risky a fashion did it? Listen the city of San Jose just is ready to adopt a taxation system for pot and collectives. So the writing is on the wall, and if legalized correctly will virtually eliminate the Mexican Mafia's massive destruction of our national forest lands. But it's going to be legalized at some point. Let's hope no macho mentality caused such a risky entry into that situation, this is pot growing that won't mature till October, you got plenty of time! The one thing that must occur is a wide open transparent investigation, and at the least in the end recommendations as to how these situations should be better handled. I don't think Mitchell has the mentality nor concern to even think in these terms. New leadership is needed, this may be another shining example of Mitchell management incompetence, he has always sucked in that area, oh sure the budget (if you don't count lawsuits) is in line, I can hire an accountant for a lot less then Mitchell's salary to figure out the money and budget.

We have the death of an individual and a sheriff's officer responsible for the shooting we have an ongoing investigation and a very serious situation, where was Mitchell today, he was campaigning in Middletown and handing out t-shirts!!! Yup, here we have a very serious situation very serious and for Mitchell it is just about him. This is a terrible display of leadership. This is Mitchell at this finest. All about him always has been.
 

Sheriff Mitchell was right where he should have been, trusting his people to do the right thing and do a proper job of it. Besides, the DA's office is the lead investigative agency on it, along with the Department of Justice. The Sheriff needed to make sure his people were treated properly and then leave the investigating up to the investigators. He was certainly available for guidance and questions if they need arose.
 

Sources reported this evening the name of the shooter in the Middletown pot raid. The information will be given to the citizens via this site within the hour. The name will raise a significant number of questions and concerns to the public as to the motivations and truth behind this incident. Please stand by and get to who ever you can to tell them to watch the site the information will be posted shortly it needs to get out to the public as quickly as possible. The source indicated there is great concern within the Mitchell clan at the potential of the release of this information. There was a desire to keep this wrapped up till after the election in November but there was great fear that it would not be able to be contained, the answer to that is it was not.

The Manifest has just learned that the name of the shooter in the Middletown raid is Chawocoski(sp) otherwise known as SKI. This individual it was indicated is the same deputy involved in the "Jose" comment on helicopter rescues, and as well was associated with the "screen test's" of Hispanics in the back of patrol cars, Both incidents were reported on by channel 7 news in the past, and have been a subject of racial discussion for many months. Though we cast no direct connection to these past racial concerns and this incident we believe it is important to inform the public of this information and create as much transparency as necessary to keep the public informed of unfolding events in this terrible incident.

It has also be learned that there is a chance camera's for surveillance, may have been operational at the shooting, if that is the case there may be video of this shooting depending on the location of the camera's and the incident. Mitchell and his supporters have been very nervous about this information getting out and are quite concerned that channel 7 may again become involved with an investigation, as well as other agencies on a state and federal level. Some outlets have been informed of this situation, and further details on this may be forthcoming.

9:00 don't be so sure about that. The public is only told what Hoppie and Mitchell what to tell you in investigations of officers. The facts can be omitted and made to look a whole lot differnt than what really occurred. Anyone knows that. And 9:01 it was pretty well known that several of the deputies were ordering their steriods from Canada because they are very proud of their buff bods, afterall they have the silicone 7 to keep happy.

Last night all the corruption supporters were doing damage control , but now where are they ? Campaigning ?
 

"I thought, 'this is Lake County, these guys are yahoos, they're obviously not very professional,'" said Nick Falloy, a public defender from Solano County, who went on a ride-along with a Lake County deputy sheriff last year.

Falloy says he watched one sergeant nicknamed "Ski" treat Hispanic suspects roughly.

"And at that point, I just remember seeing 'Ski' grabbing the guy by the arm and kind of pulling him up toward the front of the truck to push him into the cab of the truck and slapping him on the back of the head, just like with an open palm," he said.

"If it is true, the law enforcement officer needs to be held accountable, period," said Mitchell. "That would be highly inappropriate conduct, if it's true."

If Mitchell would of held "Ski" accountable then instead of protecting him, the "Jose" he killed yesterday might still be alive. What a shame
 

Couple problems with your theories. Nick Falloy was lying. They found the Hispanic gentlemen in the central valley and he denied he was ever treated roughly or slapped. Yes he was an illegal alien.

Two, If Ski hadn't been there, the deputy who WAS there would have been forced to take the same action.
 

Yes, there is cameras in that grow. There has been for 3 years in a row. Every year there is a bust in that grow. Maybe you guys should have looked at the video. If someone points a gun at a cop you will be shot and most cases it is justified. In this case however, there is to many weird questions that need answers. Why would a lone mexican national try to take on multiple police officers, with AR15's. Why wouldn't he run like all the rest of the nationals. He was reported to have an AR15 of his own. That doesn't seem likely, that his bosses would give him such an expensive, very hard to come by, gun. (check the serial no.s, maybe it's from the armory). There was only guy in a grow of hundreds (or thousands) of plants. Last year there was lots of medical growers arrested and not one national arrested. Now we have two nationals shot in the last two weeks.
The fish emulsion is not the only thing stinking here.
 

We'll see about that as there is an immigrants rights group looking for the "Hispanic Gentleman in the Central Valley" along with some Hispanic friends of yesterdays victim that were working with him. The truth will come out!

10:22, the truth has already come out. No one can make you believe it, but it's still the truth. The immigrants rights group should just ask for his identity. How come it took them longer to find him than it did the Lake County Sheriff's Department? Hmmmm, now maybe that's a story in and of itself.
