Rod Mitchell boasts of being the champion of the 2nd amendment and our right to keep and bear arms. He sells CCW permits to those who can do him some good. But, guess what. As an encombent sheriff he was able to get the NRA to support him campaign through using the NAR'a area representative from Lowerlake who is one of his supporters.

Is he a member of the Kanocti Rod & Gun Club or does he just go to them when he needs them? Do you know he is not a member of the NRA and when asked about it he avoide the subject. Food for thought gun lovers.

The NRA sucks up to anyone who embraces their agenda which is our right to keep and bear arms. Their own web site states they go with incumbents who have sung their song. That's not a bad thing especially if you agree with them. However they don't bother checking out the incumbents oposition to see where they stand before granting their endorsement. I looked into this when I saw the nRA sending out Mitchell cards so I called to ask. I was told the NRA sent out questionnaires to all candidates before granting an endorsement. I then called Rivero and Baxter and asked about the questionares. Both are N RA life members and both told me they had never been sent a questionare or contacted by the NRA. Shows what their endorsement is really worth. I guess they go by the old bird in the hand better then being two in the bush.

For most of the law enforcement groups, it goes back to Harris’ decision not to seek the death penalty against the convicted killer of San Francisco police Officer Isaac Espinoza. That “was just something our members couldn’t get over,” Alan Barcelona, president of the California State Law Enforcement Association told Capitol Weekly.

Harris has the backing of some individual police chiefs, including San Francisco’s own, George Gascón, but when it comes to the large associations, she’s shooting blanks. The CSLEA also declined to endorse Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown, citing his “erratic” stance on law enforcement issues.

But it’s Harris who finds herself on the almost empty side of the thin blue line. Cooley has won the official backing of the California State Sheriffs’ Association, the California Police Chiefs Association and the endorsements of police officer associations in cities and counties big and small.

If Harris came to regret the Espinoza decision way back when, she’s really regretting it now. And the worst part may still be coming. The trial of suspected San Francisco triple-murderer Edwin Ramos may start during the campaign, and Harris’ office has taken much of the blame for the fact that he was on the streets at the time of the killings.

Bob Jordan is not a deputy with the So, he is retired from the Daly city PD, and lives in K-ville. He as we have already posted is one who is responsible for the Rivero Hate ad in the Record Bee, and was listed as the "principle officer" of the committee called friends and neighbors. This incident was reported to the FPPC and they have just responded today they will have started an investigation into the illegalities of this ad associated with not having the approciate FPPC numbers, and not having contact information such as phone numbers as required by law.

Also as all ready reported Bob Jordan, was the individual who did Rivero's initial background check, and as we posted a few days ago on the blog, if he used any information from his knowledge base, he has committed a felony, and if he did this with Mitchell's knowledge, both would be subject to potential felonies.
 

Please do not do to Mitchell what his gang has done and is doing to Rivero. It's all to opbvious and like everything else it's come home to bite him on his fat ass. Bob Jordan is in fact a Deputy serving as a 90 hour employee. His only job is to do background investigations on potential SO employees. He makes his money because of Mitchell. He thought of running for sheriff himself once but Mitchell scared him out of it and he didn't want to chance losing his job or the jobs of certain family members empoloyed by Rod.

Everything Rivero disclosed during his background investigation was discloded to Jordan. Mitchell was apraised of the information at the time and hired him seeing it at the time as no big deal.

Jordan used the information he was privy to which was included in Rivero's confidential personnel file and posted it in the Record-Bee along with his own additions to make things look like something it was not. Mitchell was well aware of this.

Look close at Bob Jordan and his family members and you'll find a direct connection to Mitchell who employees a number of them. Mitchell makes them dance and Jordan being the stooge that he is goes right along with it. There is something else about Jordan which has not come out but it may one day soon. Seems he too is a would be philanderer so he learned something from Rodney. What goes around comes around Rodney and Bobby.

Descriptions of this person indicate he is an aggressive and overbearing type personality, please pass on any information associated with this individual. Although all the above are based on allegations via the anonymous information we received, we hope the citizens can help in getting the details and confirmations. When Mitchell loses the elction to Rivero he will fire him based on the trumped up charge he solicited from Rhonda Ruly. However long before this came out Mitchell stated to several people who asked the same question what he would can Rivero. His vindictiveness will not end with his loss in November. In the two months that Mitchell will serrve as a lame duck Sheriff he will do everyting he can to make the transition of offiuce more difficult for River. He will shread all documents he can find which would incriminate him.

We've joked about Rod pulling a Clinton by switching computer keys or gluing them down but truthfully that is no joke. He is a petty hateful little man who is getting what's coming to him.

If Rivero were to return to work as a Deputy there is no question Mitchell would do everything in his power to make him miserable and he would continue top discredit him. Rivero would be a fool to come back before he is sworn back in as our Sheriff then he can do his best to clean up 16 years of Rod Mitchell's corruption. I hope he takes a vacation with his family to relax but I'm told he plans to hit the deck running. By the time he's sworn in he will have his ducks in order, plans will be made and he will be prepared to deligate much of the reorganization process to his commanders which is just what a manager does.

James H. may be fed up with political corruption in Lake County and the misdeads of Rod Mitchell but he makes good points worth considering. I post and tell what I know because I have grand kids. I could not let what I know about this dishonesty go on without trying to inform the public. I thought when those that took a oath and the errors where known the right would will out. My problem was that the cancer was ingrain for to long , Their arrogance with power would not allow them to say Their sorry and this would not be a problem for other citizens.No, did I think I was something special,Was I aware how hard it was to get rid of people in the government. What I saw was that they were willing to lie for and cover up for county employees. Making excuses why they are allowed to be dishonest. Now here is the shocker I found not one bureaucrat That in the end did not go along with the flow. So I say to you the Dinius case was not a shock to me I had been sensitized of over eight years at that time of their dishonesty. Mitchell was part of that government process of do nothing but through is oath in the cesspool of Lake County government..Sorry for being long winded.
 

Just to clarify on the blocking system, the post's that will be dropped are of course the massive cut and pastes that are used to clog the site. Heavy profanity, and items like that. Everything else stays, somethings like the peeper man will go down, or minor childish things such as that. He was a CO who also worked as an assistant Range Master and armorer for the department. Mitchell fired him in the blink of an eye to demonstrate what a tough nononsense leader he was.

Inside sourses indicate this guy was no longer working as RM & A so he called the SO and told them he had some weapons parts he wanted to turn in. The parts were used to rebuild or repair SO weapons which was a part of his job. A Sergeant was sent to his home to pick them up and did so. An hour later he returned the parts saying he was not comfortable doing so and suggested the CO bring them in himself. Shortly thereafter that same day SO Detectives showed up with a search warrant for his home and took the parts which had been placed in a bag by the front door. Everything went down hill from there and he was eventually terminated and I believe accused of theft of county property.

If he had automatic weapons parts I do not know. If he was an armorer he would have had access to such parts although having them at his home was in question. Did he misappropriate county property or possess illegal weapons parts I do not know. I understand this case may be pending in court.

One issue is the fact that once again in the blink of an eye this man was termineted by Mitchell. He had not beer tried or convicted of any crime. If he was placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation it only lasted two weeks while others last months and years in Mitchell's department depending on who they are. Is he guilty of a crime or even a policy violation I do not know but once again things look suspicious on the part of Mitchell and his gang.

What this boils down to is a total lack of trust of the LCSO and their Sheriff based on past practices. I do not know what is true and what is not about the CO and the weapons parts. I do know he is innocent until proven guilty. A concept unknown at the LCSO. I can't say if the man is guilty or not I was just responding to a question with what little I know. If this is a BFD why isn't ATF involved? Mitchell and his gang seem to call outside people to do their dirty work every chance they get. Now I'm no fan of ATF but it's possible even they could see this was another Mitchell humbug and didn't want any part of it.

My concern is here today and gone tomorrow anytime someone does anything to make Mitchell look bad. I wonder since things happen pretty fast in Lake county where in other places that do follow the rules it doesn't work like that. If Rod Mitchell and his boys had the respect and trust of the community we probably wouldn't think twice about all his terminations. Sadly they do not and they have failed to earn it so everything they do right or wrong is in question. For that reason if for no other we must get rid of Mitchell and start all over with new ideas. If they don';t work we must remain active observers and get rid of the next guy if he failes in his duty. It's not just Mitchell although he is the first. It's all elected officials who fail in their duties and responsibilities to us.

I mentioned the DSA above blaming them for their lack of support for the CO. Although I believe they have failed in their responsibility to support their members the deputies I was wrong here. The CO's are members of their own Union who is responsible for supporting their members. They are obviously no more capable then the DSA but in this case the DSA is not to blame.

Search warrant documents stated that Holland, who along with Wright had been one of six sheriff's rangemasters, told officials in January that he had several unregistered assault weapons which he then turned over to them.

All of these programs come together because of the efforts of a cadre of citizen volunteers and deputies who volunteer their time.
