I love seeing the DSA endorsement of Mitchell. Just remember they locked us, the taxpayers out in Kelseyville during their debate between Mitchell and Rivero. When the County has lay offs, cut backs, etc,. They will ask us, to support them. Well I'll say Hell No!!!
 

LCN has lost any credability they ay have once had by the open support of Mitchell. Another case of one dare not go against Rodney or he'll crush you. They think they are a part of the news media because they copy what the real media publishes. Not to fear Lizzy one day you'll actually find an open Sheriff who will cooperate with the media with no strings attached and it isn't going to be Rod Mitchell.
 

Last nights "support poor kkklint" post must have been Mrs. Mitchell waiting up late for Rod to come home from some important crime investigation or major incident which he had to assume command of. Idle hands do the devils work.
 

The Rivero meeting at Konocti Vista Casino, was open to the public, as well as Mc Donalds and Kohls. However, it is private property and the owners need no reason to have someone removed. Check it out. That is the law. As a matter of fact, the casinos have a list of people who are not allowed on their property, sometimes for months, sometimes for life. Konocti Harbor Inn has removed concert goers for videotaping concerts. It is their call. Sorry, no ones rights were violated here..If anything, Rivero took swift action to prevent impending trouble. Perhaps, due to KKKlints history, anyone could have had a problem with him. He certainly was not there to do some good.
 

I find it odd that there is those that would choose to live with this mess and to do it for a career.

Excellent point 8:18. The DSA is the Deputies worst enemy not counting Mitchell himself. Where are they when their own members are getting railroaded by Mitchell? They are supposed to support their members but instead they stand by and do nothing. Later they come out crowing what a bad deputy or incompetant sergeant their former member was. I've never seen a group with so many outright back stabbers in it. Follow the leader is the name of the game.

Heads up follow up on the FPPC investigation (Fair Political Practices Commission.) We have recently been contacted by the Commission, they have requested a tape of the Middletown Parade the request is for an uncut version of it, we have the tape on the way to us. Also they have indicated they are in contact with Homeland Security and are working on combining the investigation with them! This is very serious and we will be reporting on this in the Manifest with a complete story once the end game is reached. We are also going to be reporting to them concerning the meeting where Ringen, Mitchell, and Brown, along with Ford discussed attacking Rivero in lieu of favors from Mitchell to Ringen. Also the citizens should know that Mitchell by law was obligated to tell Ringen point blank at the exact moment the collusion was suggested no. The fact that this was not done, means that Mitchell and Brown were considering the idea. We will report on this as well as we receive more information, we have been asked not to revel the majority of the investigation and it's process and who is conducting what aspect of it, for the sake of ensuring a full investigation takes place we are honoring that request by the commission.
 

Let's remember something and keep it clearly in mind. In the primary all of you may have noticed that the original debates were questions from the citizens asked directly. Now suddenly, that changed, out of no-where we have Liz Larsen asking the questions that had to be submitted in advance to her!!! Good Morning Lake County, another amazing day of posting and comments. It was a hard beating the Mitchell/KKKClint supporters just got stomped hard, it is difficult to imagine that they can take this level of beating every single day. Keep it up, the Ivory tower is tipping over!!

Couple of items for the morning discussion. Word is still coming in that the Mitchell campaign is in total chaos. Rob Brown has no been minimized, and they do not want him involved, this has him pissed off and the internal fighting is getting worse, this comes from an individual who has actually seen this happening.

Larger and larger numbers of SO's are coming to the Rivero camp, several have reported that the whispers within the walls of the compound are starting to sound like mutiny, several have said that as the election approaches some bad information from the inside is going to come out from the SO's themselves. This is going to be quite interesting.;-)

The copy cat site is dead, and yesterday we hit another record on posts over 300!!!! This is a great display of public outcry, and the county has seen nothing like it in the past 15 years.

I know Frank Rivero will be there. It's already on his calendar.

Can he then spend the next year on full pay through workmans comp going to doctors, rehabilitation etc? Please take the time to go to Rod Mitchell's campaign web site and review his list of promised kept over the last sixteen years. This is the record he hangs his hat on knowing many of these programs are in name only. Some are fancy names for nothing at all. The programs covering special detective services are suspect at best. This is the kind of programs he boasts of implimenting during his term of office and that's it. Progressive law enforcement agencies develop new programs on an ongoing basis constantly reviewing and reevaluation their affectiveness. Not Mitchell, he makes one up then walks away with no follow up or supervision let along appreciation for the work done by people he's stuck with the job. All smoke and mirrors designed to snow the public and make you thing he's actually doing something besides firing officers every week.

Mitchell's trumped up charge against Rivero by Ms Ruly quickly fell apart and was shown to be a political ploy to discredit him. The fact that Rivero was forced to stand up and publically defend himself during this campaign gave Mitchell an excuse to charge him with insubordination for which we all know Mitchell would fiore him. That is if he wins the election. What's your feeling on such dirty tricks and what would you do if you were in Rivero's place. Would you feel angry and betrayed by a corrupt system? If so write to Mitchell and tell him how you feel.

When Rivero is elected as our next Sheriff do you think he will come in and can those who spoke out against him and supported Mitchell? He's said he didn't like the attitude he's seen and the campaign of false allegations and personal attacks made by some deputies. What would you do in his place?

In my humble opinion if Mitchell should win he will can Rivero so fast his head will swim. We'll probably see a race to see if he can fire Rivero before he can resign on his own. Lets get one last jab into this guy who has caused me so much trouble. This will just secure his long standing record of vindictiveness.

In my humble opinion shouldRivero win he will try his best to work with Mitchell for a smooth and effiocient transition to a new administration. I think he'll treat him with respect as a former Sheriff and allow him to walk out with his pride. That is if he has pride.

I do not believe he will can anyone who has disagreed with him or who has supported Mitchell. I think he has to much class to consider going after those who attacked him and he will encourage everyone to go back to work and to buy in to a new philosophy of law enforcement. He has said and I believe him that he will hold no brudges and has no annonosity against those who we all consider the GOB's. I think he will allow everyone to do their job within the framework of a new operational philosophy and re-organized chain of command.

I think anyone who does get into trouble will bring it upon themselves through their failure to follow the policies of the department. Those who do adopt to these policies will find a much happier place to work where everyone knows just where they stand. A refreshing new concept in the LCSO.

I predict success for Rivero in his quest to create a new SO which is respected and supported by the community. I predict by the end of four years we'll see a professional organization that is dedicated to community service first which we can all br proud of. Sleep tight LC Deputies, all is not lost and better days are ahead.
 

Do Rodney and hoppy really think they have chance. The Jury from the criminal case would of convicted perdick. The jury will be part of the civil lawsuit. Haltom turned over 11,000 pages of documentation to Mansson. There is enough evidence contained to put all involved in prison.

Perdock is just one part of the problem. He made a terrible and tragic mistake which cost him his career and the respect of his community. It cost an innocent woman her life and a man his freedom, his job and his respect. Everyone involved is a loser thanks to Mitchell's interference and blatent cover up.

Many lives were negatively affected by Rodney Mitchell just in this one incident alone and the trust and confidence of the community has been shattered. The office of Sheriff has been tarnished by political corruption.

No matter how we may feel about any of these players the full responsibility rests on the shoulders of Sheriff Rodney K. Mitchell. This community is up in arms over his refusal to do his duty and to fulfill his oath of office. He has demonstrated a long record of incompetant management and poor leadership combined with deception and cover up. Is this not political corruption?

We just can not afford four more years of Rodney Mitchell and it's time they vopice of Lake County was heard loud and clear. We will not tolerate this Mitchell brand or politics or policing and we expect more of our elected officials. Send a message to all politicians that we are no longer willing to sit back and allow them to run over us with impunity. Send this message here in Lake County by voting Mitchell out then on to government at all levels to get rid of complacent and corrupt politicians. It's up to us and the fight starts here.

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) - A man claims that officials in Lake County conspired to maliciously prosecute him for a fatal boating accident that actually was caused by a sheriff's deputy who was "under the influence of intoxicating liquor at the time of the collision."
In his federal complaint, Bismarck Dinius said he was manning the tiller of a 27-foot sailboat on Clear Lake, on the moonless night of April 29, 2006, when the vessel was struck by a fast-moving 24-foot powerboat owned and operated by Lake County Deputy Sheriff Russell L. Perdock.
Dinius claims Perdock was "speeding in the range of 40 to 60 mph," while his sailboat was going 2 to 5 mph.
Also onboard the sailboat was its owner, Mark Weber, and Weber's girlfriend, Lynn Thornton, who was the lone fatality in the accident.
After the crash, Perdock claimed that the sailboat did not have its navigation lights on, a statement that was contradicted by Weber and others at the trial, the complaint states.
Dinius also claims that law enforcement officials refused to administer a breathalyzer to Perdock after the accident, and that Perdock's claim that he had drunk only one beer that day, during the afternoon, "was false, and that defendants or some of them conspired with Perdock in efforts to fabricate evidence supportive of this falsehood, or in efforts to suppress or fail to preserve material evidence tending to show that Perdock consumed alcoholic beverage(s) in the hours immediately prior to the collision and/or tending to show he was under the influence of intoxicating liquor at the time of the collision."
Dinius claims that more than one security guard at a bar told Lake County Sheriff's Officers that they had seen Perdock drinking there on the night of the accident, but that "no LCSO investigative report was ever prepared and disclosed to plaintiff's criminal trial counsel, revealing the foregoing material facts."
Dinius, an experienced sailor and winner of several regional sailing races, was the only person charged in connection with Thornton's death. The manslaughter charge was dropped before trial and he was acquitted of drunken boating, according to his complaint.
Dinius claims that officials misled the court from the preliminary hearing onward. Among other things, he claims, the officials concealed exculpatory evidence and fabricated evidence to protect the deputy sheriff.
Dinius said the his 2-year legal ordeal, which he characterized as a "corrupt investigation, prosecution and attempted conviction," has cost him all of his money, and his job, hurt his reputation and caused profound emotional distress.
He seeks compensatory and punitive damages on claims of conspiracy, libel, intentional infliction of emotional distress and malicious prosecution.
The defendants are Perdock, Sheriff Rodney Mitchell, District Attorney Jon Hopkins, Marine Patrol Sgt. Dennis Ostini, investigator James Bauman, Marine Deputy Lloyd Wells, Detective Sgt. Wesley Frey, Sgt. James, Sgt. Dean Pick, Sacramento County Sheriff's Dept. Sgt. Charles Slabaugh, Lake County, and the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
He is represented by Laurence Masson of Berkeley, and attorneys with the Northern California Innocence Protect, of Santa Clara.

Even if the judge and jury find in favor for Dinius (which I think they will not on most of the suit), there is no sentence in any jail or prison for anyone. The purpose of this site is to simply remove Mitchell from office. This site thrives on rumor, hearsay and innuendo. Your post and many others are meaningless. After the election this won't be over. The accusations coming from this site will be looked at long and in great detail. It's pretty weak that you can't simply launch a campaign. I guess if you did that your man wouldn't stand a chance. So you just make a blog and start lies and insults.

Run your campaign based upon what Frank offers. Stop these attacks because they are slander and defamation. You have disassociated allot of people with this trash. It just makes Lake County look bad. In the end this is all you've accomplished.

Good morning Lake County, that was one of the best fact filled night of comments we have seen the article by Dan Mccue is great, it really lays out the details in a great format. This really is a two fold case, the first aspect of it is the civil trial. We already know that state and federal people are looking at this trial when it starts. If in fact and it will come out it is proven that there was cover-up as he reported by officers and Mitchell you have a very very serious situation, as any of those involved can then be charged with criminal conduct, and then were talking potential jail time. This trial will not take place prior to the election, however much more will come out as we approach November concerning the trial, and it is not going to be a pretty picture. Let's keep the focus on Rodney and his boys this is going to get real interesting. Here's hoping your watching real close corruption boys.

There are some very interesting aspects of a civil suit that are going to come into play when the trial begins. Many of you may have noticed that in the Clearlake parade the one following the Middletown parade that none of the equipment that was used in Middletown was used again in the Clearlake parade, this was an admission of quilt on Mitchell's part, and he and Brown are under serious investigation by the FPPC, the word is getting out across the state folks, it is growing and the attention is leaping up and down the state. This is the exposure we have been working toward and we knew it was going to be a necessary aspect of exposing this corrupt regime.

What is most critical is the use of public resources, this is the main crux of the FPPC investigation, along with the participation of Rob Brown. That along with the illegal meeting between Ringen, Brown, Ford and Mitchell paints a very bad picture.

Many names are not listed, they are in the unnamed 25 people, the reason for this is they want to wait for others testimony before setting exact complaints against those not listed out right. In other words those people are in reserve pending further information as the trial proceeds. Once these guys start throwing each other under the bus trying to save their own ass, then those names and people will be brought out, and used in the trial, all in due time.

Langen did everything he was told to do and even threatened to resign because he knew it was BS. That caused Hopkins to take it over. Langen wanted nothing to do with it and made that very clear. Langen only did a Preliminary Hearing. He had nothing to do with the trial that ended up clearing Dinius.

Mitchell and Hopkines however has a lot of explaining to do. Like why did they fire Bealnd. Why did they allow a mechanic access to evidence? Why were no charges filed against Perdock. Why was Perdock allowed access to the report. Why did Mitchell allow everyone access to the report. Why did Mitchell hug Perdock and not comfort the Thorton's family. Why did Mitchell not place Perdock on Admin Leave. Oh and of course there is more...
 

Why was there no mention of perdick boozing at konocti?
 

Langon (or Langan?)is one of the good guys. He wanted to drop the whole case after he understood it better, but Hoppy refused. Langon then threatened to resign from DA office if forced to try case. That's when Hoppy jumped in and took it over and dismissed the manslaughter charge but proceeded on the other felony charge of boating under the influence and negligently causing great bodily injury. Hoppy thought it would be easier to convict on this than manslaughter, although proof of one would essentially prove the other as well. "Does" 1 to 25 are also sued, this allows substitution of additional defendants later as they are discovered via official discovery.
 

Correct post 113, however he still will be listed as he will testify as to the process of his removal and Hoppy replacing him, he may have incriminating information as to why he felt the case was dead in the water and he did not want to touch it, because he may be in the unnamed list of 25 doesn't mean he did something wrong but that he will provide damaging information against Hoppy or Mitchell or both.
 

Langen is far from innocent and if you are ordered to commit crimes and you follow those orders you still have a price to pay.
 

But, Langen refused to follow orders!
 

He did the preliminary trial and allowed the case to go forward.
 

Haltom presented more than enough evidence in the preliminary trial to raise questions about this case and Langan did nothing.
 

Well time will tell then on Langan, he may be under the same protections as Hoppy, as DA's by state law can not be prosecuted, or prosecuting if you will. But Langan, may have good information as to why he told Hoppy this was a loser case, only time will tell in his situation.
 

Langen was doing his job. The Judge, for whatever reasons, thought there was enough to bind it over for trial. When Langen saw all the evidence and thus came to the conclusion the case was wrong, and a loser, and when his conscience kicked in, he did the right thing -- he refused to try it and threatened to quit. What more do you want from the guy?

The list of Rod Mitchell's blunders and possible crimes seems to grow bigger by the day. Everyday new scandals come to light and all he can do is make up rumors about his opponent and blow smoke. He can't defend the mistakes he has made and the worse part is these are not honist mistakes that anyone can make. His mistakes were made on purpose and he thought he would be able to cover them up as he has during his entire career. To late, the people are wise to his tricks and the truth will coome out.
 

I agree with the Philly Lawyer, again if anything comes of Langan it will only to present information or confirm information. It is not perceived that he did anything wrong, in fact he did not want the case in the first place. I still think he could end up being damaging to Hoppy and the county, as he may have information or knowledge that negatively effects the counties position. Again that aspect of things as the trial unfolds will be very interesting to watch.
 

Knowing Rodney Mitchell as we do I'll bet he'll be the first one to run to the US Attorney and try to cut a deal by giving up everyone else just as he did with Garzoli. What is Perdock was the first to cut a deal and tell the truth in exchange for immunity or a lesser penalty. This is very common with the US Attorney. They see political corruption at its worse here and may have their sights set on the top dog, Rodney Mitchell.

Remember this top dog. Every dog has its day and Perdock may come back to bite you right on your fat ass for being so quick to throw him down. I wonder if there aren't several others who have been names and may be feeling guilty. They too may jump in the race to see who rats on who first. Remember this Rod, they have been well trained in backstabbing and snitching by you.
 

I've been following the local papers and radio plus all the so called bebates. I've listen to all three original sheriff's candidates before the primary and I've tried to keep an open mind. I've tried not to be influenced by the accusations of political corruption leveled against Sheriff Mitchell by various individuals or all the accusations of wrong doing.

I could not iin good conscience vote for Sheriff Mitchell eventhough he has been in office for many years. I voted for Jack Baxter and saw him as the most quaklified and reasonable of all the candidates. I likes his no nonsense attitude and good sense of humor and the fact that he was reasonable and would not get involved in the petty cat fights. He lost leaving us with Mitchell and Rivero.

Now it appears Baxter has been helping Rivero even if he hasn't come out with an endorsement. Rivero has admitted to asking him to consider being his Undersheriff which I found to be a smart move. He has taken many of Baxter's ideas and adopted them in his own campaign and freely admits that Baxter has mentored him. To be I see this as the best of both and a plus for Lake County. One man with experience and a long distinguished career helping another man be the best he can be.

Mitchell attacked Baxter and Rivero both before the primary yet Rivero beat the pants off him. Baxter took 27% of the vote which was quite an eye opener. Mitchell continues to plug along doing the same old thing while ignoring what the people are saying. Is he so sure that he is going to win that he feels safe?

I am voting for Rivero for the same reason I voted for Baxter. If Rivero wins I hope he does name Baxter as his Under Sheriff and I hope Baxter will accept. We need new people and new ideas and can't afford Mitchell any longer. If you supported Baxter I hope you'll continue and vote for Rivero in November.
 

Good post 253 and actually I think Baxter is going to come out in total support of Rivero and that he will be announced as the Under sheriff, before the election happens in November, this will be the final death blow to Mitchell. The fact of the matter is Mitchell is dead in the water as it is right now, regardless if Baxter comes on board or not. But it would be a nice addition to the cause.

I first met Rod Mitchell just after Rivero came out to challenge him for office. He was charming and firendly and I was impressed by him. He seemed to be genuinly sorry that his friend Russell Purdock had gotten in trouble and as we talked a thought I saw a tear in his eye.

I met him again a few months later and he seemed to be a different man. He seemed bitter and false which made me wonder if i had done something to offend him.

The next time I talked to Rod Mitchell was in Middletown and here I saw a third person. He dripped phoney charm and gave me the feeling he was just another politician in it for himself. He boasted about his accomplishments while demeaning his oponents which I didn't care for. I was disappointed in the man who is now running for reelection and I am not confortable with the attitude shown. After following the debates on TV I became very disallusioned with this man who seemed nothing like the man I first met. Where did the charming Rod Mitchell go and who is this man taking his place. Frankly I don't like the new Rod Mitchell and voting for him is something I just can not do.
 

I also watched the telivised debates between Mitchell, Rivero and Baxter and I didn't like the way the two continually fought with each other. Of the lot Baxter seems to maintain a cool head and brought humor to the debates when it was most needed. I didn't like seeing the two fighting and it turned me off. Later I was actually able to meet and talk to Rivero and found him not angry but charming. He took a lot of time with me answering my questions and telling me what his plans were for the future. The bitterness between he and Mitchell was not there and he seemed open and honist and I liked him.

These days I have a hard time believing anyting said by our politicians so having someone come in from the outside who is not a professional politician is refreshing. I hope to see Rivero win the election and I hope he doesn't change when he gets in office as Mitchell has. Good luck.
 

Indeed post 324 the re-invention of himself is not going to work, he has far to much history to be able to cover it up with a personality switch, his actions are speaking louder then the phony words he is trying to put out right now. Our politicians and Washington and Sacramento get into office and then spend all their time trying to get re-elected. They are out for themselves with little care for those who put them in office. They spend our money without a second thought and as if it comes from a bottomless pit. The attitude now seems to have trickled down to local politics, city councels, supervisors and yes even law enforcement. This is just a shame and does the people a diservice.

Now I've learned to keep a close eye on who is running for office and their background. So many times you see someone who must leave office because of term limits so they slide right into another political office. Others get appointed for high paying jobs in government by the friends so its a never ending cycle of the same people. They make laws for themselves ensuring they will have a lifetime pension andhealth benifits that we could never imagine getting. I will vote all incumbants out every time they come uip for election and I encourage you to do the same.
 

Mitchell seems to be doing a reverse reinvention of himself. He goes from likeable to someone you just can't stand to be around. Not to mention all the things we are learning that he's been involved in.

Since the primary when he came in a poor second Mitchell has been going around telling people he is the new Rod Mitchell. He now sees his own faults and bitter attitude and he's changed. He now has Jesus on his side and he tells us he's learned his lesson.

The Lakeport POA saw through him right away and refused to indorse him for office. Good for them for standing up to him even when their chief and Lieutenant came out in support of Rod. They were not intimated and refused to roll over like the DSA and took a stand which I aplaud.

I hope Rod has embraced Jesus but his actions don't seem to show it. He talks out of both sides of his mouth telling you whatever he thinks you want to hear.

I don't think Jesus will vote for Rod and neither will I. I'm voting for Rivero.
 

3:41 - Right now Rivero is new to politics and I admire his willingness to jump through all the hoops and take the bashing dished out by his boss. I hope he will not turn into what Mitchell has once he's in office. But, if he does I'm sure there will be someone out there willing to stand up against him too. Right now I'm willing to give him any benefit of the doubt and giove him a chance to proove himself. Mitchell has had his chance and flubbed it big time.
 

My husband's nephew is a deputy in the Sacramento Valley and was here for a family gathering this weekend. The subject of our own sheriffs race came up and he said a lot of people are watching it. He said people in his department considers Lake County a joke and just can't understand how they have gotton away with everything they have. I can saw we were a little embarassed that this is an example of policing in our own county. People are watching us and we are thought of as hicks for allowing these things to go on.
 

No doubt 358 and as you can see today the corruption Mitchell boys don't have a lot to say, finally in November we will clear our good name and start the long process of bringing this county back to some level of credibility. At the same time we must remember that not only is it Sheriff Mitchell but it is the BOS that has allowed this to happen over the many years. Oliver I don't think you have to clear your good name especially for the likes of Rodney Mitchell and the BOS. This blog came out originally and sounded like a hate group with a lot of real dummies posting their thoughts. In time things began to mesh and the dialog has become intelligent and worth reading. Lovelace themselves have become a reasonable voice of the county providing food for thought and trying to print just the facts. Good work and keep it up.

I have a friend who is a long time Sheriff in a fairly large county who knows Rod Mitchell. They aparently sit on some sheriffs board together. We talked about Mitchell and all the heat he's been getting in his run for office. That persons opinion was not one of surprise. They said he is considered an "arrogant pup" who has no ideas during the committee meetings. Aparently he is considered a small town dufus who is way behind his peers. They were not impressed however they made a point of asking not to be quoted by name since they do have to work with this guy.

Discuss the Dinius Civil Rights Lawsuit....Wow, I have lots of questions. "If Dinius wins a judgement in the Civil Rights Suit" can he then go after Jon Hopkins, as an individual for slander/libel?
 

Mitchell's law enforcement endorsements aren't anything impressive and do have the look of GOB's themselves. Rivero has a lot of endorsements from people all over Lake County but in the end its the vote that counts.
 

I see Rod is having a campaign party on sunday. When is he going to have a public debate or Q&A's? His boys talk alot but I haven't seen anything yet and he is still hiding out.
 

Does LCSO do a Psyc evaluation and Polygraph on prospective new hires? If they do, do they have to pass it or just take it? From what I see and hear about some of these officers I can't see how they could pass either one. I'd like to see Mitchell himself on a lie box.
 

I'm surprised to see Jeff Markham on Mitchell's endorsement list. I wonder if he knows he's been listed. If anyone knows the real Rod Mitchell its him.
 

I think this Blog has taken over as the voice of the county, KPFZ with the exception of the few times they have a decent program, such as the one Ron is doing is a waste of contributers money. This site has done more to bring the people of the county together then KPFZ ever has, and they have the air ways!!

Tom Allman sheriff of Menso Co. lives outside of Willits. If Tom lived in Lake Co. I don't think Tom would endorse Mitchell.
 

I am a life member of the NRA and have been for 30 years. I've always been active in gun sports and our rights to own guns. Over the years I've written to officials and the media in support of NRA programs and issues.

I'm very disappointed to see the NRA come out and support Rod Mitchell for Sheriff. They have gone so far as to send out political advertisments on his behalf. If they have donated campaign funds I am not aware. It seems that one of Rod Mitchell's campaign endorsees is the local NRA area representative living in Lowerlake.

I question the fact that Mitchell boast about being a supporter of run rights and champion of the concealed carry movement. I also wonder iof he is actually a member of the NRA or just sucking up for their money and support. I wonder did the NRA ever interview Rivero before supporting Rod. Rivero is in fact a life member of the NRA himself although he doesn't wear it on his sleve.

As a member of the local rod and gun club once said, the only time we see Mitchell is when he wants something. Because Mitchell controls the fireing range this club is forced to dance to his tune. Once again Mitchell tells people what they want to hear. He promised everything and delivers nothing and I don't trust him and neither should you.

Garzoli is gone but not forgotten. I suspect he will file an appeal and a law suit against Mitchell himself one day soon. No matter what Garzoli may have done its was still Mitchell's responsibility. Mitchell lied when he said he knew nothing of it and threw Garzoli right down under the garbage truck letting him take the hit.

Garzoli saw himself as Mitchell's goldenboy who could get away with anything. What a chump because as soon as the slightest heat came down Mitchell dumped him. I hope to see him come out and tell all he knows about Mitchell and his boys before the election. I know he has a lot to say.
