Ok lets start putting two and two together here. I was just informed that many inmates at the jail were complaining that they were not receiving their meds. So, here we have Smith who is or was married to Barbie Zuvala (sp) who happens to be the jails nurse. Hmmm, just curious as to where those inmates meds went. Starting to unravel a bit on this one. Rivero is on his own time off. He is not taking any pay and just wants to keep on working on the election. He is not costing the county any money and can be called in for any special event if needed. The deputies must now walk a fine line since Rivero won the majority of the votes. When Rivero is Sheriff, Brown and other supervisors have some serious explaining to do. So if you were Brown, do you continue to support Mitchell knowing the chance that Rivero will be Sheriff or do you just do as little as possible and pray you don't get fired in January.
 

The totality of the information coming in on Bryan Smith is huge at this point we can only post the information and wait and see. It appears that there is again more to this then meets the eye. We have heard a lot about prescription drugs being ferreted from the prisoners to his used to be wife Barbie, and his use of those drugs. We have heard that tweaking was going on at the jail, and that Mr. Smith was involved with that, in fact the reports indicate that there may have been the selling of drugs to the prisoners.

Also we should keep in mind that if Mr.Smith was under the influence of some drugs prescription or otherwise as a peace officer carrying a gun that is dear friends a felony.

This information does come from 3 individual sources one blood related to Mr. Smitht. We do not know the extent of these allegations, but time will tell what the end result of all this is. We need anyone to send information as it is available on this situation and you can use the e-mail account to do so if necessary.

Bryan Smith is currently married to Barbie Zavala who is one of the Jail Nurses. She is a contract employee with a group called California Forensics. She is not employed by the LCSO. Inmates always complain they don't get thier Meds.. which she distributes. But no one ever believes an Inmate. So, sounds like the perfect Job if you have a husband who needs some extra Meds... 1 Vicodin for this Inmate, his other 2 Vicodin go to my Hubby. Who would ever know? This may be a much deeper and darker situation that has been exposed. It will be interesting to see if Deputy Smith actually had legally prescribed Prescriptions in his system.

Also, yes it is true, but did not get reported. A non medical employee of Red Bud Hospital who lives in Hidden Valley witnessed Deputy Smith almost hit a Pedestrian before striking the parked Car. This whole thing is really sad. Thankfully no one was hurt. But, Id love to ask Bryan,.. you were a smart kid, WTF were you thinking?? I hope he gets the help he needs. But this is yet another Black Eye for the LCSO Public Relations. Not to mention that ulcer that is killing Rod!

Forgive me for this change in directions for a moment. We had to put down our little Dachshund dog "Missy' today, it had been 5 days no food and finally not taking water. As many know a very sad moment to go through, she was 17 years old and finally ran out of gas. We took her down to animal control We want to say thank you to the kind and gentle people there, my wife was in full blown tears when it was time, but the people comforted and talked and they have my respect and admiration for the oft times difficult job they do. I know many of you on both sides of the fence have gone through the same thing so you will understand the importance of how kind they were.
Sorry for the change of pace. But felt it was important to acknowledge them.

Hey all wait till we release the new full website of the Manifest newspaper, I have to say it is really cool. Makes RB and LCN look like a romper room layout for kids. Serious the site is going to be very interactive for the public, the layout is stunning and looks fantastic. Our people are continuing to work on the site and layout and features and should be up and running in a few days.
 

The SO is in the spotlight now, but I have it on good authority that CPD is next with the upcoming Grand Jury report. It's not the officers that are being looked at but Chief McClain and Lt Clausen. I heard that the GJ interviewed almost all of the officers and there wasn't much nice stuff to say.

Firing Officer Brady might be retaliation for what he said. McClain is always trying to blame someone else. What a mess. The next city council meeting should be good. I wonder if McClain will have the balls to show up. I bet he finds some way to get Clausen to stand in for him.
 

In doing some numerical anaylsis of the Blog site we see that we have averaged just about 75 comments a day over the past several months. This is a number we did not expect to be so high, our models suggested it would be around 50 per day thru mid June and we have far exceeded that number. Thanks to all our supporters and thanks to the corruption supporters as well. If we included all the Neanderthal post's from the Mitchell supporters which are not left up, we would be approaching 90 comments per day. However since those are essentially non-intellectual comments we don't want to include them in the numbers. To say the least these are great numbers and the current trend line is increasing, this is not including the hits and comments on the Manifest as well. Thanks everyone, and thanks Pat although the majority of what you post is senseless you do help our numbers!

I think I know what happened with Deputy Smith, happened to a friend of mine, My friend has sleep apnea, and he take Ambien,just changed over from day shift to swing he has alergies, the pills he takes he puts them in a weekly container for each day/night and he mixed the doses up and took Ambiem by mistake instead of his alergy meds, he could not stay awake and was scaring me saying dumb things and acted drunk...I got him to the emergency room. they told him after the blood work came back he had mis dosed himself switch morning with night and since he was working swing just changed over from days.he forget to switch the pills times.

In doing some numerical anaylsis of the Blog site we see that we have averaged just about 75 comments a day over the past several months. This is a number we did not expect to be so high, our models suggested it would be around 50 per day thru mid June and we have far exceeded that number. Thanks to all our supporters and thanks to the corruption supporters as well. If we included all the Neanderthal post's from the Mitchell supporters which are not left up, we would be approaching 90 comments per day. However since those are essentially non-intellectual comments we don't want to include them in the numbers. To say the least these are great numbers and the current trend line is increasing, this is not including the hits and comments on the Manifest as well. Thanks everyone, and thanks Pat although the majority of what you post is senseless you do help our numbers!
 

Well not a good week for Mitchell, we have an officer under the influence nailed by the CHP and we have 2 terminations from the jail house rock. This is not going to be a pretty picture by the time November comes around. By the way, what is in the wings right now and under investigation is going to blow the last support beams from the Mitchell house of cards. But in due time Mitchell supporters, in due time. Hey all wait till we release the new full website of the Manifest newspaper, I have to say it is really cool. Makes RB and LCN look like a romper room layout for kids. Serious the site is going to be very interactive for the public, the layout is stunning and looks fantastic. Looks like we had a big back fire for Mitchell today, a lot of parents were very pissed off at the Mitchell tactic today, to use the children by offering them balloons making it difficult for the parents to say no, for fear the children would start crying was a terrible trick on Mitchell's part and he lost a lot of votes on that move. You know he just doesn't understand the proper tactics and appears to have very little understanding of campaign concepts. Several of the parents we talked to were very irritated. You know the kids don't have a clue what the balloons say and the parents were terribly upset at this tactic. I mean imagine a person who screws around on his wife with MS, has no morals, and is forcing parents to allow their kids to take a balloon from him. They said it was the same thing as a child molester handing out candy to the kids. What a shame, he really lost ground on that one. We got several e-mails asking if there is anything that could be done about this terrible tactic he employed.

Interesting information we got today from a current SO. By his count he thinks that at this point more then half almost 2/3rds of the current SO's will not be voting for Mitchell in November. It seems that after his loss to first place Rivero, they are finally understanding that they can start to come out and go against Mitchell. In fact he reported that as November gets closer and much more comes out on Mitchell, which oh believe us it will, they are actually going to come out against Mitchell in the open, that is going to be great to see. It seems that the Dutra's, Frace's, of the world including the DSA endorsements is hurting Mitchell a lot. He says one of the biggest loses for Mitchell is the entire family of Garzoli, Perdock, Morshed, Wright, and many others that have been hurt by Mitchells self serving tactics has cost him a lot of votes. Imagine the numbers associated with all those families that live in the county, not a pretty picture for Mitchell.
 

My oh my that was a bad move by Mitchell, he just does not use his head. The other big issue he has is he cannot meet and great the public the way Rivero can. I mean Rivero was out shaking hands at library park yesterday. This is something Mitchell cannot do. His attempt at PR in Middle Town today was a real mistake. Who the hell is running this guys campaign? Who ever it is should be replaced quicly. Pat is that you??? No on second thought keep him Mitchell. lol

The Lovelace group has been working on what may be a very serious mistake today by Rod Mitchell. Let's ask a couple of questions concerning the Middle Town parade. This is very serious we will give only brief details of what we will be reporting to the election complaint and fraud unit state of California. Let's set this up with some questions. Since Mitchell used county vehicles including the swat vehicle etc. Who paid for the fuel? Answer the taxpayers. Who paid for the vehicles themselves? The taxpayers of this county. How many of the Mitchell Supporters were on duty while in the parade wearing their uniforms etc. However many there were they were paid by the tax payers. Who paid for the wear and tear on the vehicles of the county in the parade? The Taxpayers of this county did.

We had contacted the register of voters a couple of weeks ago concerning a few other issues we had with Mitchell for example his use of the words Democrats in his last minute mailings to try and steal the election which did not work. However we also at that time were told to be careful of the illegal use of taxpayer funded resources in ANY campaigning by a candidate for election. It appears that Mitchell has made a big mistake. Also Rob Brown participated in these activities as an elected county official, not to bright on Rob's part.

We will be forwarding an overview of these issues to each of the Board of Supervisors and to Mitchell himself. We will be sending in our documentation to the complaint board of the register of voters on Monday. The contact address which we have posted below. We also will be running an article in the Manifest in the next few days.

This has the potential to be very troubling for Mitchell, and his side kick Brown and as well Pat, who all will be listed on the complaint. Let it be known corruption supporters we are not playing around, every move you make we are watching and we will catch you in your own stupidity every single time. We have hardly even ramped it up yet. But make no mistake about it, you are not sharp enough to get away with anything. We are going hang your asses by your own mistakes, and you better think twice about every move you make. We are going to be asking the board of supervisors to review all usage of county property in the recent parade, and request an overview of those findings ASAP, if they refuse then we will take them to task as well.

There were two separate things the Mitchell campaign float, paid by Mitchell and his supporters and there was the Sheriff Dept, which always attends parades, the kids get excited to see the deputy's in uniform and the vehicles as well. It also shows the community what resources the SO has to protect and serve!!!! I wrote a valid post last night at 10:31 last night no dig on Rivero just saying fight a fair fight with dignity and ethics and how it's wrong to bash the wives of the deputies that put their lives on the line every day and you deleted it --- why?
 

I have a question. I was not at the parade, but I've seen LCSO, CHP, LPD and CPD all use there vehicles in past parades (even the SWAT truck). That part is not illegal, but what would be totally illegal is if any of the vehicles had any type of endorsement for Mitchell. Signs such as "Mitchell for Sheriff" or banners, stickers, broadcasts over the vehicle PA or even the deputies in uniform wearing support buttons. Did anyone see such an event?
 

Hi I just wanted come on and Thank a couple of your members for their conversation in Middletown yesterday. I'm a grandparent of 12 and a very busy person. I have grown very secure in my environment and that of my family life. I don't get a paper and I rely on local news from family and friends. I guess we have been so into our family life and neglected our community and whats going on. These Folks asked if I supported Sheriff Mitchell and I said I have for years. They asked me to consider a change and to look up several sites before making my mind up. I started to do so last night. To my surprise I must say, I'm in shock at what all is going on and who all are involved. I plan to spend the day reading more information out there and yes, I'm now considering changing my vote come Novembers election. Once again I want to Thank the two young women who approached me yesterday and sorry I don't remember your names!

I don't know how you can point to community support. Mitchell did away with the Community Resource Deputy positions years ago. I remember seeing Beland and Fidgeland always walking around Kelseyville. I have not seen a deputy walking around Kelseyville since.

In fact this is so clear according to election officials, that he (Mitchell) cannot attempt to separate this as "just a parade". We have documented well enough the connectivity to the activities of the parade and campaigning that it is impossible for Mitchell to attempt a separation. This also includes the fact that an on duty officer drove a patrol car into the parade route, that a swat vehicle was used in the parade, that those vehicles and those activities including the shouting of Mitchell for sheriff campaigning was occurring, and that Mitchell being in the proximity of these publicly funded vehicles and campaigning while being associated with them is clear and indisputable proof of this activity.


8314. (a) It is unlawful for any elected state or local officer,
including any state or local appointee, employee, or consultant, to
use or permit others to use public resources for a campaign activity,
or personal or other purposes which are not authorized by law.
(b) For purposes of this section:
(1) "Personal purpose" means those activities the purpose of which
is for personal enjoyment, private gain or advantage, or an outside
endeavor not related to state business. "Personal purpose" does not
include the incidental and minimal use of public resources, such as
equipment or office space, for personal purposes, including an

A couple of items concerning deputies wives etc. In case you haven't been on this blog since we started it back in September of 09 you may not be aware of the activities of the sheriffs wives. They have been the worst offenders by far of untoward and deceitful comments, they have participated in some of the most rotten attempts and shutting down this site, and engaged in screaming phone calls and activities far beyond the pale of civil. So let's keep that very clear when we passing out admonitions concerning these less then decent "wives" of the sheriffs officers.

I've suspected all along that there would be no lawsuit regarding the audio tape. It makes no sense that Mitchell would want to draw attention to an audio recording of his wife acknowledging his infidelities.

A Mitchell supporter posted the other day comparing this website to the National Enquirer, and although I don't agree with that comparison, I find it ironic that it was the National Enquirer that broke the John Edward's cheating scandal that has for all intents and purposes ended his political carreer.

Hi I just wanted come on and Thank a couple of your members for their conversation in Middletown yesterday. I'm a grandparent of 12 and a very busy person. I have grown very secure in my environment and that of my family life. I don't get a paper and I rely on local news from family and friends. I guess we have been so into our family life and neglected our community and whats going on. These Folks asked if I supported Sheriff Mitchell and I said I have for years. They asked me to consider a change and to look up several sites before making my mind up. I started to do so last night. To my surprise I must say, I'm in shock at what all is going on and who all are involved. I plan to spend the day reading more information out there and yes, I'm now considering changing my vote come Novembers election. Once again I want to Thank the two young women who approached me yesterday and sorry I don't remember your names!

If you don't know the song you should look it up, because now we really are going to be turning up the pressure, the last 10 months has been child's play little man, over the next couple of months you are really going to see the level of pressure we can put on you go up.
