Some very sad news to report. Frank Toney's last message on this blog was last night, early this morning at 12:03 a.m. For some unknown reason, Frank passed away early this morning, around 0300 hrs. I don't think he was 40 - 42 yrs old. He had been a volunteer fireman with the Oaks Fire Dept. for as long as I can remember. He also had been an employee of CalTrans.

Frank Toney was a good hearted man. He was involved with the kids by coaching baseball and football. He will truly be missed. You are in a better place, Frank. I will miss you.

Libel territory? Hardly. If you would have been listening to the debate on the radio yesterday you would have heard the husband of K.C. call in. He identified himself and asked Mitchell if he believed he was qualified to be sheriff after having an on-going affair with his (K.C.'s husband) wife and assisted in destroying his family.

It was on the air for all to hear. And it is not the first time for Mitchell. He has been screwing around on his wife for years.

Post 144 Listen we have been down this libel/slander/Defam. road a Thousand times with you guys, it is quite boring at this point. In the radio phone in, from the Husband we have the revelation of what happened. But just for your sake let us define one aspect of libel you seem to have missed, it has to be false. Ya so that kinda blows that one out of the water. Now the complication of Libel is massive, the criteria very defined, from third party notifications, to slapp motions, to ability to prove significant monetary damages, and the difference between opinion and stating something, and then stating that the information is true because of this that and the other thing. Now take that then get Google to cooperate through expensive court orders, then there are the more simpler facts which are you must understand, libel is very expensive to litigate, that is why you see very little of it despite all the banter. Not to mention no one has any money, there is nothing to take, and based on that the courts knowing there is nothing will quite quickly slap them with Slapp. Dude really based on everything, you are barking up that same tree, and we haven't even discussed the greater details of this. So try something else, that doesn't fly.

That's a high standard you are setting post 455 though in the perfect world it would be wonderful, but in this state of emotions and anger and corruption you will find that difficult to acheive. I was reading all of today's posts and wanted to comment- Seems most of us readers/bloggers here make up our minds and wont allow ourselves to change it despite new information so, for what it's worth - I worked for hesterberg for quite some time a few years back and he is not the ultra-conservative you claim. He's a live and let live kind of guy that knows this lake and agriculture inside and out but he isn't a big mouth or say too much which might hurt him in this election but thats on him to learn. that's my 2 cents
 

That comment 702 comes from a long line of professions that saying has been applied to, for example, how can you tell when a politician is lying, how can you tell when a salesman is lying, the saying has been around a long time.
 

Thanks for the post 704 I wish we had more people that were posting their opinions on Hesterberg. Do you have an overview of what you think will happen in the supervisor 3 race? We are not going to endorse any but the DA/sheriff races, so people are really all over the place between the two of them.

I don't think we called Hesterberg "ultra' conservative. Our thoughts are that he is in the middle, he is more connected to those ag people who have been in the Upper Lake area for quite some time. I can tell you that there are several Lovelace members that are voting for him. So as I said it is a divided vote. Your overview of him is valuable.

803 we have already posted the Overview....This blog did not start with the elections in mind, it started to remove Mitchell and Hopkins and remains so. The long term model has this blog continuing regardless of the elections, doesn't matter to us, we have a goal greater then just the elections. The addition is that on the 1st we are launching the internet Newspaper, and as well it will go to print on some occasions. We have been working on the paper the last few weeks to bring everything in line, it will be announced tomorrow as well as the details. There will expansion in to video coverage in various forms. The Blog will continue and expand further, of course the options and approaches will change depending on the elections but those ideas are already in place, it is just plugging in the model by the events. However the end goal is the same transpancy, justice, and the LE and the citizens working in concert with each other curing our county. The same for The BOS and all government agencies.

KC Bramlett was a few years back. Her husband was Dennis. He came to Rod's office once and screamed at Rod for screwing his wife. There was many witnesses. Dennis started to get pulled over constantly by the Deputy Sheriffs until he finally moved out of town. He has been seen around the Redding area.
The story has been told, that Homer was seeing KC at the same time as Rodney. In the ensuing arguements Homer decided to leave for LPPD.
The new girlfriend of Rodney's is the Jazzercise girl. I believe she came after Sandy Tucker.
How many does that make Rod? I can't keep track.
 

My friend told me his story about his minor trouble with the law. He said Doug Rhoades was his Public Defender. After he told me his story of being sold out by Doug, I said, Are you saying Rhoades was the DA? He replied, No he was my Public Defender. Another friend said That's why they call him "Dump Truck Doug". He just wants to dump his cases.
I don't think this is the kind of person I want for DA, so I voting for Andersen, treadmill or not.

I first met Frank was in 1981, (he came along with Greg Feinman) to Covelo, where I lived at the time to take an EMT I Class. There was no doubt they were scared to death to be "out of towners"!. Over the years our paths crossed often, then when I moved to Lake County, between RELS and Cal Trans, I saw Frankie everywhere. I am so Thankful that just last week, when XX and I ran into Frank, that I gave him a Hug & a Kiss. He was looking Great, and appeared to be Happy with life. Too many Stories, to even start.. Thanks for All the Laughs, Tears and Memories Frank.

He just looked real bad.

I find it interesting that the Record-Bee printed, the former CHP commander, Steve Davis' letter to the editor. Davis' letter is almost 1500 words long. It extols the virtues of Rodney, Hopkins, and even Russell Perdock. Gary Dicksen, publisher for the RB, refused to print Tom Carter's letter because at, 1200 words, he said it was too long. Tom Carter's letter, told the story of when he went to Hopkins and Mitchell and told them they had crooked cops on the force.

The letter from Pat Nunes, altough more than the limit of 400 words, is allowed (great story Pat, like so many others) because it sheds a negative light on Rhoades and could cause votes to be swayed towards Hopkins.

Mitchell soundly refused to answer the first caller's question from the woman's husband re: Rod's extramarital affair with the caller's wife. 2 more callers called in after, and Rod refused to answer, gave the answer, essentially:
"Before we turn the law show into the jerry springer show, we should scrutinize the qualifications of every candidate, I have opened my qualifications to the public, and this is not the Jerry Springer Show."
 

Did Steve Davis say "Weber the person who turned off the lights, the main contributing factor"? What planet was he on when that trial was going on?

Davis, you don't want plea bargains from your DA? What do you call the bargain Hopkins gave Morgan Jack, who slit Joes throat and shoved him in the lake for a few dollars?

Maybe you, like Rodney, should go and "embrace" Perdock yourself.
 

Mitchell was asked re: the recent arrest of three 11-year olds arrested on felony charges for petty theft. Mitchell denied knowledge about the case and stated that the kids wouldn't be charged with felonies. Frank Rivero answered the question, and stated that he was aware about the case from one of the fathers. The girls had apparenlty shoplifted at a local market, and were detained upon exiting the store; apparently some deputies were called, and the girls were each charged with felony theft and felony conspiracy. Both Rivero and Baxter agreed that this shouldn't happen, especially if it's a first time thing with kids.
Mitchell stated to Frank that it was easy for him to make these allegations, as he had information from the parent. Again, Mitchell denied personal knowledge about the incident.

I think it's unbelievable that Rod would know nothing about this -- isn't he the sheriff??(!)
 

Mitchell just denied that there are arrest quotas; he kept splitting hairs between quotas and "like circumstances". States quotas are a number that must be met; states "Like circumstances" are used to compare deputies' performance for their evaluations.

I ask you, what is the difference, if it is used for performance evaluations, and the deputy who has less is marked down? Same in my book...
 

Now Mitchell just stated that "the one thing I didn't do today to prepare for this debate was to arrange for people to make calls on my behalf, so you won't hear callers calling in against my opponents."

Nice touch, and way to win voters, Rod -- stating that the only reason that people called in upset with you is because they were asked to...I guess you can't bother to consider that people might not be happy with you because of your actions or inactions?

I agree -- Mitchell denied that he had seen the IA report, so he wouldn't comment, and that for the time being, Rivero was still a deputy under investigation. Rod stated that he wasn't aware of the outcome of the investigation, and then stated that he knew Cecil Brown had emailed Rivero about it. Rod also claimed that he doesn't get involved and wouldn't know the outcome unless some sort of disciplinary action was recommended.

This doesn't explain to me how, when I complained about a deputy in the past, I recieved a letter from Rod Mitchell himself, telling me that they had completed the investigation and found no wrongdoing. Either he lied above, or maybe he made a special effort in my case because I had Mike Thompson's office call him. Who knows? My bet is on the lie above.
 

Mitchell failed to Supervise once again.
 

Caller just asked Rod about the racist videos of Crom77(aka Clint Fitzgerald) that are pro Mitchell and anti Rivero; asked Mitchell to disavow any association with that individual, and that he does not want any association with that individual, nor does he want Crom77's vote.

Mitchell stated that he doesn't know who did it, that he knows there are 2 videos, but that he has not viewed them, does not endorse them, nor does he endorse racism. Mitchell accused Frank of being a "different person" and that he has undergone a "radical change".

However, he did not disavow the person's vote, did he? I guess he doesn't care that it makes his department look horrible, especially in light of the recent racism allegations that have hit the news lately. Makes me wonder just how opposed he really is to racism. It appears that he at least tolerates it on some level. I would absolutely, without a doubt, denounce videos like those, and the creator's vote, if someone alleged they were done on my behalf.
 

Baxter asked Mitchell why there weren't LCSO supervisors on the BNE task force; Mitchell tried to deny it, told Rivero "you can get all huffy-puffy". LMAO! Regressed to third grade, and never answered the question. Baxter said this debate was better than throwing a rooster into the henhouse. Loving this debate!
 

Since the start of this race for District Attorney I have ran a clean campaign that never personally attacked my opponents. I will continue to do so. However, one of my opponents have decided to get dirty and attack my family and myself with false statement.

Recently, an article in the Press Democrat states that I am being sued by two lumber companies. First, over three years ago, a law suit was filed against me by Piedmont Lumber over a disputed bill. Case number CV 404153. About a year later that case was dismissed by the court.

The article also states that according to Mark Borghansi (a Jon Hopkins supporter) I had been sued by Kelseyville Lumber. This is completely not true. I have NEVER been sued by Kelseyville Lumber at any time. I challenge anyone to show different.

In 2007, a person very close to me was sued by Kelseyville Lumber. Case number CV404404. She purchased several doors from them, however, they all leaked, and continue to leak to this day. She refused to pay the remaining $5,000 until the doors were fixed, so Kelseyville Lumber filed a suit against her.

It is unfortunate that my opponents have stooped so low to attack my family with false information. If they want to attack me, so be it, but leave my family alone.

Does anyone get bored when Mitchell talks, he just puts me asleep, and he is such a poor speaker. Very monotone, and not too believable he just sounds like he is trying to get out of a room as fast as possible. His word usage is terrible, and sounds like at times he loses track of what he is saying. Very Poor.
 

We went to the Main Street Business Assn's movie in the park last night. Hopkins was in attendance as were MANY Lakeport business owners. He kept to himself. I talked to several business people who were offended that he outright ignored them. Way to win votes hoppy! Note: the city's "new" manager should distance herself from hoppy if she wants to keep her job,,, playing suck butt w/hoppy will only hurt her career! Didn't see any of hoppy's DDAs, no doubt they were down at TJ's or Molly's getting their "drunk on" as always!

We understand K-Ville lumbers position and connections to Hopkins and we are saddened that they have decided to go down this untoward and untimely accusation.

1048 do you really not have a clue? Do you not know the difference between the sheriff and the DA? The sheriff does not file charges against people. The DA does that. Why would the sheriff keep track of what charges are brought against every person in Lake County. Come on.
 

I commend you, Don for your clean campaign -- it is exactly what I have come to expect from you over the years, and exactly what this County needs. There are two sides to every story; it is unfortunate that others don't realize that, and instead choose to sling mud and false accusations.

We've already told you that you have our votes, and I hope to see you elected on June 8. It's time for a change, and I believe you are part of that.

Post 11:58, your right, Mitchell doesn't keep track of what the DA does. But, he does, or at least should, keep track of what is sent over to the DA's office. And, when a report is written, it has the charges that were filed by the deputy listed on it and on the ticket, if a ticket was issued. The DA, after receiving the report from the sheriff's office, can then change the initial charges that were listed on the report. So, I guess what you are telling me is that Mitchell has not a clue of what the reporting process is within his own department.

1158 -- I have a clue, alright, and I know that the Sheriff's office submits complaints to the DA for consideration on the charges they believe pertain to the act. This is reviewed by a supervisor prior to submission. The DA then chooses to pursue the charges or not. However, the SO can influence this decision depending upon what they decide to put in the report. I've seen this personally, when crucial information was left out of a police report; when the report was corrected, it changed the entire outcome. 11 year old girls shoplifting at the local market should not have been arrested for felony theft and felony conspiracy. Period. The sheriff should be aware of cases that are likely to cause PR problems for their department. This is apparently one of those cases. I can tell you that Mitchell's M.O. appears to be that he denies knowledge of everything, unless confronted with facts or backed into a corner. This is my impression after listening to him speak, and after speaking with him myself, on more than one occasion. My post was based upon what happened in the debate. If you don't like what Rod said on the debate -- talk to him about that.

We are all out of towners..depending on what year time frame you place on it, well actually it is true there are some born and bred folks here still in the county, no doubt about that, but that is changing fast. Part of the reason for Mitchells troubles is that during the housing boom many sharp city folk moved up here, that along with technology has taken Mitchell by surprise, he has never been so exposed, and he has no control of it, and it is driving him crazy, imagine how easy it was for him before the Internet really hit, and citizens starting figuring out what the hell was going on.

As we have been indicating for the past month we are launching a new Internet newspaper in Lake County, the Lake County Manifest. Our mission is to provide a portal for the citizens to be actively involved in the operations and content of this newspaper, for it to be interactive with the public, and to allow for the maximum public participation from the citizens as possible. The quotes below sum up the current condition of journalism in our county and unfortunately in to many newspapers in society today.

Based on the above maladies we as citizens are affronted with, in newspapers now days, we choose to go beyond that format and those deep holes of ineptitude, so many publications fall prey to. The newspaper is out and ready for your first look. Be aware we have set up the base format, and will utilize a maximum of your input to change and structure it as to your likings. We will value all of your input in formatting and evolving the paper as the next few months go by. We have purchased and secured the domain names associated with the paper, and this initial launch is the template for putting the paper on that domain. Since we did not want to wait until after the elections we have used a blogger content management system to start the launch and then will transfer it to the actual web page in a few weeks.

Structurally we have several reporters and contributers all ready in place along with welcoming all citizens input for articles and submissions to the paper for publication. In the longer time frame we will be utilizing video feeds and other audio input to the paper submitted by the public and by our people. We will be printing copies on a periodic basis and have not set the time frames for that yet. As we are ramping up earlier then expected, we will be placing new content in the paper as we get it in., and as we evolve the process. For any of you who want to be contributers or reporters, if you have ideas on weekly or daily sections, for any and all those concepts please send us an e-mail. We have also placed a link on the sheriffmitchellwatch blog page so you can access the paper directly from the blog.

This citizens newspaper, will be focused on the county, the LE, the BOS, and the local government as a whole. We will also concentrate efforts on culture from all walks of humanity, from art to music to history in our county. There will be political sections along with citizen input on each article, and from all sides, with a connection to discussion on the Blog which will stay intact. We will engage a slow and controlled ramp up as the weeks go by so be patient as it evolves.

Submitting a report to the DA.

I will extend on what Kip said (which is correct). The report is written by the deputy and then approved by the shift sergeant. A detective (usually Sgt. Samples) reviews the report again and then walks it to the DA's Office. On the front of each report is the crime that the deputy has charged. For instance, if he/she is arrested for DUI, on the face sheet it states "23152(a)-VC (Driving Under the Influence with a BAC of over .08%)".

Each DA takes a turn as "Charging Attorney". The DA reviews the case and determines if the charge will stand up to prosecution, if the charging section is correct or if additional charges are needed.

One think the Kip did not touch on is the duty of the patrol sergeant. If a major arrest is made, the sergeant must send the command staff an email about what had occurred. So if Mitchell said he knew nothing of a serious arrest, he is full of @)$_@**.

Hey all have been watching you guys for a long time, and have been all over the place on the direction you are going. You have sold me, the new paper is great, and the information you have provided over the past many months on the blog has been enlightening and very helpful. Your news paper looks great and I hope we begin to get truth and honesty as well as hard hitting journalism in our county.

Around 3 years ago, I was involved in a custody dispute for my son. My attorney, Don Anderson, failed to represent me or my son's interests. I pursued his utter laziness with the state bar arbitrator's office. The matter was heard and decided in my favor. In fact Mr. Anderson couldn't keep track of the dates to even show up as scheduled to meet with the arbitrator. Meetings were rescheduled to accommodate him, and he still made excuses about why he was either late or a no show. While it was ordered that I didn't owe Mr. Anderson any money for his failure to provide legal services, and his conduct was highly criticized by the arbitrator, the bottom line is my family has been emotionally and financially devastated by the effect of his inability to argue the law. What should have been a mostly simple family law case turned into a major drama with financial repercussions continuing now, three years later.

My concern here is that if Mr. Anderson was not equipped to handle a normally routine case because he was - as it was revealed - very busy juggling a large load of multiple cases -how can he be expected to handle the complexities of criminal cases required of a DA? I realize my case was probably not the norm, but it still happened, and the effect is rippling. I am afraid of the effect somebody like that could have on public safety. When he gets tired and overwhelmed with his workload (which is likely to be far greater than what he was juggling at the time of my son's custody case), how will he effectively manage a multitude of other cases that directly affect civil rights and public safety? I sure don't want anyone in my family to be on the receiving end of his indifference. The legal costs I had to pay AFTER he was removed from my case exceeded $55,000 and the problems he created were never able to be corrected. What is it going to cost the residents of Lake County for the mistakes he will undoubtedly make as a District Attorney? During an economic crisis like our county is experiencing, that's scary in itself. I will never be reimbursed for what I've lost in peace of mind and livelihood because of Don Anderson. My family continues to suffer because of him. I don't believe the residents of Lake County are either aware or prepared for this type of outcome.
 

Hey post 830 your situation valid, and we all can accept that this is something that happened to you. But dang man you forgot to tell us who you are voting for??? Rhodes not Hopkins right??
 

Then don't vote for him! Vote for Hopkins who has costed the taxpayers even a greater amount of money for his lame excuses for trying cases that never seem to win! Or perhaps Rhoades would be your choice!

One of our contributors to the paper will be a former Lake County resident who fought the Mitchell fiefdom for many years here in the county. He is a great artist and cartoonist and we are happy to be able to feature his satire. We now introduce you to or (reacquaint you with) Jurgen Schorfheide, who now current resides in Hawaii. Please remember what you are seeing is a close model of what our paper will be in its finished form. Many of the details are not in place yet but again we felt it was imporant to launch as we are in the last week of the elections.

I know both Baxter and Rivero, and donated funds to Rivero's campaign. I like them both personally, and would be fine with either man as sheriff, but have chosen to support Rivero as I believe that he will be in a better position to pinpoint the problem areas within our department, simply because he's been on the inside of it. I have no doubt, however, that Baxter could do the same. Anybody but Mitchell is my mantra. I hope any runoff will be between Frank and Jack, and that Rodney and his boys recieve a clear message come June 8th -- stick a fork in 'em...they're DONE.
 

After the debate Saturday night, I think Mitchell should just retire. Baxter hit a home run or two and Rivero went in for the kill great job. If Mitchell retires today he won't feel the embarrassment or the humiliation that garzoli felt.

Just went to the new paper, well that has got to send a chill down LCN's back and the RB for that matter. Good luck on the new paper, I think it is going to go like gang busters, It is nice to have just good solid articles and not have to muddle through all the goo gaa, there is a place for all of that in a paper but let the others do that work, I like the way yours is set up. Looking forward to what you guys have to being to the table as the elections continue.
 

There seems to be a real divide between the ranks in regards to Mitchells infidelity and if this kind of information should or should not be on the table during an election. It appears there are those that simply say no, nothing of that should be aired in the public, others say yes it all must be out on the table, it involves trust and honesty, one individual said..."listen it is out it is known, and once it is Rodney needs to step up and take his medicine" It appears that if Rodeny had been a more solid individual in the past he may have gotten a pass from the general public, but he was tarnished before this came out and now he wants to side-step it. Now if we look at the reality of this, none of this is news, talk to anyone who has been hear a few years or better yet talk to a cop who has been in the department for a while or is retired, they will tell you of course we all know Rodney has not been fair to his wife or to ethics. it is known throughout the county, nothing to hide here, just admit it and take the heat, this isn't about Jerry Springer, this is about your honesty Mitchell and your integrity!!

The caller simply identified himself and asked Mitchell a point-blank question. If Rod is so above blame, why didn't he answer it? How sad for Becky Mitchell. I find her to be a lovely person and not deserving an unfaithful husband. I have heard gossip that claims that she is "okay" with the affair/s situation. As a woman I find that hard to believe. Any man that will cheat, will lie. Lying is not a quaility I want in any Law Enforcement Officer, let alone in our county's top officer. I have read this blog for awhile. There have been untruths/gossip, yet some stuff is true. Lately I have realize that a lot of things written here were not written by "LoveLace" but other outside people. LL & OWD only allowed people vent and because of that, they have taken the "heat". All the "venting" that has taken place here should show anyone who is willing to read that there is a problem here in Lake County and we need change. People don't get mad for no reason. Vote for change! Anyone but Mitchell/Hopkins!
 

Thanks for the comment post 1132, these are difficult times, we had heard the same thing, that due to Becky if you will being "taken care' of by Mitchell, she decided to live with the situation, we don't know how true that is or is not. But we would understand a women who feels vulnerable coming to that conclusion. It would indeed be very sad if that were the case. Mitchell's antics have finally caught up to him, how sad that he believes it is ok to treat a spouse that way, how does one justify it in their own mind?

We had also hear recently that Mitchell had stopped living at the house, again do not know if that is true or not, we would not be surprised if that were the case. We also heard that Rob Brown and Kim have some issues and that Kim is not voting for Mitchell, again we do not know if that is true or not. But quite interesting.
 

We have an idea we want to promote concerning the new newspaper, we think it would be great if people don't want to post with their actual name, that everyone picks if you will a ghost name, that they use on the various article comments. It would give a great sense of community and allow us to learn who each person is better. Again it does not have to be your actual name if you choose not to, but let us know what you all think of that idea?

I listened to Rhoades on the radio, 88.1, the other day when Rhoades said the late great Robert Shapiro was WRONG when Shapiro was quoted, “that you should defend your client zealously no matter what, to the full extent of the law.”
The law was created to protect us. It is our right under the constitution to have a fair trial, and just representation. I thought it was an attorneys job to do his or her best for there clients whether the client is found guilty or innocent in the end. I don’t know about you but if I was accused of anything, I would want an attorney to do his personal best and put his personal feelings about me aside and do his job.
So what you are saying, as a defense attorney if you have personal ill feelings towards your clients, you DON’T do your best? I thought as an attorney you are to do the best job possible and you are to put your personal feelings aside and do your job, your duty. You say justice for all but what you really mean is justice for the clients you like or the rich.
It is better to let a guilty man go free then to convict an innocent one! Though I believe OJ was guilty, Shapiro was a hell of a lawyer. Rhoades your not even on the same level and you shouldn’t make such egotistical comments. That’s why we are in the predicament we are in now (Hopkins).
If you can’t even do your zealous best as a public defense attorney you have no business in the district attorneys office. I wonder how many of your clients you sold down the river because you didn’t like them. This is NOT the of mentality we need in the districts attorney office. We need someone who is down to earth and someone that gives the people the representation they deserve.

Attention: There is a fundraiser scheduled for this Sunday. It is being set up by the wonderful Ms. Acosta and is being sponsored, by the SCIU who of course are endorsing Rivero for sheriff. This is going to be a great event, home made Tamales will be for sale starting around 10 am and there will be an early dinner as well, this is going to be a wonderful event it is being held at Glebe hall right by the St. Peters church in Kelseyville, please make sure you attend this event and support Frank Rivero. Word is on the street today that there is a federal lawsuit being filed in San Francisco today this will be a suit against the county of lake/sheriff's department. We have received word on who this may be, but will not post that now. We are not exactly sure of the timing so only want to give heads up to everyone that something else is in the wind and it does not sound pretty. Will provide more details as available.

Elizabeth - please tell us that this is not true. Please tell us that a journalist with a professional obligation to report on facts in an unbiased fashion did not make a contribution to a candidate in one of the most important and hotly contested elections your community has faced in years. There are ethics issues no matter which candidate you might have given such a contribution to, the same ethics rules that require the national broadcasters to provide equal time to all candidate for national elections.

If the statement above is true, and in fact you contributed to a candidate, it calls into question your integrity and calls into question the quality and bias of your reporting. If true, I personally will find it incredibly dissapointing. Please tell us that it is not true. Your reporting provided an important window into the factual events of Lake County during the Dinus trial. I would have hoped for similar quality reporting for these elections.

Can you put up others named Newer or Newest or something, to hopefully stop them?????? Well we know the New is there but it isn't doing much, most all of our followers know who we are and what our actual name is. This is just a corruption support move, we really can't do to much with it, nor do we need to we think it isn't going to mess up to many people, so it hasn't concerned us. We have a guy checking it out, will let you know if we will do anything, but we kinda doubt it. For those that are looking for the site who have not been here they may have to do a bit of a good chase, as long as we give out the actual name each and every time we should be just fine. I have never been so outraged and ashamed of this County and especially Kip Ringin. A beloved man passed away this weekend, a father, friend and dedicated member of this community and you choose to use it as a campaign boost for Rivero!!!! Shouldn't be too much of a shock since he took advantage of people who lost loves ones in his previous profession. I've heard some pretty shady things Rivero is doing to get votes, but this is clearly the worst. Is this what we will have to look forward to in the future!!!

The question is...is LCN just endorsing a candidate, or giving the candidate free advertising? Any media... radio, tv or newspapers have to offer equal advertising time. Is the LCN biased? It looks like it, but so is Fox news, and many major newspapers around the country. So, the point is, did LCN slander a candidate in any news reports? And did it not offer equal advertising space to all candidates. Something to think about.

post 9:01, look at this site,l it advertises for Anderson and Rivero, but deletes anything related to Baxter, Hopkins, Mitchell, or Rhoades. Something to think about. And now this site has an online newspaper, so are they going to give equal advertising? What is the difference between this site and any other news source? Shouldn't this site play by the same rules they want everyone else to play by?

The LCN campaign thing actually started on SA, then when we posted it as a question and started looking it seems it was just a word combination someone saw that led them to believe that. That's the way we see it anyway.
 

Don Anderson did get a permit. I know the architect who drew the plans.I went to the job site and gave Don some advice. I talked to the building inspector about Don's job. It was a difficult job and at least one contractor was let go for poor performance. He was stopped by the building inspector. Just more campaign bulls*#t.

Thanks Tom we can assume that it means the Hopkins or is Rhoades camp is pretty worried. Wonder who it is that is putting out this crap, and why is the Press Demo running this crap.
 

Post 731 maybe you should go by the court house, do your homework and see that I(Jennifer, Dons girl friend) own my home. It's not in Don Andersons name and never has been in his name. I'm in the middle of construction on MY home. If you would like, while your at the court house you can read MY case that Borghesani spoke about, case number CV404404. Don’t people like you realize this is a feeble attempt to smear mud on Don Anderson, but all it does is hurt me.

Thank you for coming on and posting. We know this must be having a terrible effect on you. We are still wondering if it is Hopkins or Rhoades throwing this stuff out. We would appreciate you thoughts on it if you feel you can, if not no biggie. But we do appreciate what you are saying, and understand, we all are looking forward to the end of these elections.
