I believe the fine print on the documentation of the draft associated with the verbage in regards to the 1000.00 stated that no BOS member could participate in the contest. As well the contest rules and regulations stated a person had to actually figure out who Lovelace was, since Lovelace is not a single evil entity as the corruption supporters would have hoped there is an automatic default. Nice try though!!

Lovelace 5:38, I must have missed something. How was this person "Bruce" outed by a BOS member? I was not at home watching the blog when this was supposed to have ocurred e.g. Sat early Sun morning. I am a long time follower of Lovelace and I know of no "Bruce" person involved. I am concerned about the security of the blog and the email address. We had heard from a few people that they were concerned if the site was really "us", suspecting some set up by local authorities, including the e-mail account, we want to let everyone know again all is well and all of us are well. Post as usual to the thread or the g-mail. And thanks to everyone for the massive support, get your t-shirts at Perfect printers, when we did the shutdown we did shutdown the e-mail account as well, we were not able to maintain the addresss of our past communications which, so we are re-building them again through your communications. Thanks all, hope that clears that concern up.
 

I have a personal opinion why the Sheriff needs to continue to hold his job as Sheriff. He has to re-apply to be a deputy if he looses and he won't be able to get medical insurance for his wife because she has a pre-exsisting condition. So there is a strong need to hang onto his county job.

I understand the sheriff's wife's needs but they will have "cobra" for up to 18 months following his exit. Also, as bad as her disablitiy is, she is intiled to SDI and that come with medicare provided she at one point in her life was able to work.

My questions are this: If your sheriff told his employees to not go onto this site, for what reason was Brian Martin on here? This sounds really fishy to me after reading the article in LCNews. Everything revolves around this Brian guy and it really looks like he is setting the morshed guy up. Is this the kind of corruption you people are faced with in Lake County? Then I go on to read in this blog that Martin is the son of a Judge, wow, even more fishy. Looks like I will start from the beginning and get the whole scoop lots to read this weekend! Mitchell's orders were any deputy/CO or employee are forbidden to access this site during working hours. Mitchell is not talking about what deputies do off duty on their own computers.

My problem is Martin seems to try and make a link between the EEOC complaints and the report. Is this an attempt by Mitchell to sour the EEOC findings if released? Lets say the findings only confirm racial statements against Morshed but no racial injustice on the part of his attempted promotion. Then Mitchell can state not only did he feel Morshed was not supervisory material, but the unauthorized report just reinforces his opinions. Now it's Morshed with egg on his face.

Yes we had heard that same rumor concerning Garzoli, a couple of weeks ago, and have not attempted to stop that action, as it is a death sentence for Mitchells election, not only that it will provide the means for those under the Mitchell Admin leave scam to sue the county up one side and down the other. We are hoping this rumor is true and Mitchell and the BOS are actually going to make this amazingly stupid move. Let's keep quiet on it and hope Mitchell goes down this road. There will be many out there who would be happy to see this, Beland being just one example of this. And with more to come concerning Garzoli on the wind, it would be sweet justice in the end.

Yeah I saw that on Mitchell's site. Lets look in to that.

1. Some of you don't know about the Homeland Security grant LCSO obtained. Garzoli wrote that one too. It was used to pay for the $200,000.00+ trailer they love to talk about. What you don't know is Mitchell never got approval from the BOS to purchase that trailer. Garzoli failed to check the ending weight and found that we had no vehicle that could pull the trailer. Mitchell had to go to the BOS to ask for funding to purchase a vehicle to pull that trailer. That trailer and heavy duty diesel truck sits at the jail until needed. Mitchell could have reviewed Garzoli's grant and purchased a trailer that one of the LCSO pickup's could pull, but again he did not read the grant.

2. Either Mitchell failed to read the DEA grant and signed it blindly or he read the grant and thought this would be a good idea to undermind the BOS to have his helicopter with Garzoli as the pilot.

Yeah great grant administration Mitchell.

The trailer is real nice, but what a waist of a truck. It just sites unused until they need to move the trailer. Even fire trucks move more than that. The truck is a heavy duty Ford diesel requiring a Class A license. Only a few deputies (yeah Garzoli is one of them) can drive it.

I've recently been working in Upper Lake and have observed some disturbing things carried out by the Lake Co. sheriffs dept. There are two parking places in front of The Patients Choice, (a medical marijauna clinic) and when people park there, I have seen the Sheriffs drive up and write down their license plate numbers. This has happened several times. The funny part is every time it happened, the people were only going across the street to get their mail. I hear the other club is under indictment too.
I also observed, on wednesday the 17th undercover agents (lay off the steriods a little bit fellows) were video taping the patients waiting around Dr. Hopkins office.
How many times must the voters of California vote to allow medical marijuna patients to use their medicine without being harassed by law enforcement? It will be on the ballot this Nov. to allow recreational use. The polls indicate it will pass. What will law enforcement do then? LE, you took an oath to protect and serve, and I think the only thing you are protecting and serving is yourselves!
 

Why all of a sudden is Mitchell going after a grant to go after "Meth?" The problem with meth has been going on "under his nose? for a long time.
 

I got my new video phone last week, Now I can take a video of you taking a video of me and post it to U Tube almost at the same time. Next time smile.
 

I don't care if Mitchell gets money from a shoe box to battle meth, just get a good manager to supervise the cops correctly. It's a bad drug and needs to be crushed before it gets our kids (or should I say more of our kids).

Not since SED has any deputy in the field performed to match those arrests. It's to bad that Mitchell picked a drunk to head it and a sex crazy liar K9 deputy to be this unit. Oh but again Mitchell disbands that unit, never to be activated again.

Don't get me started about Dr. Hopkins who is nothing but Chiropracter that lost his license to precribe medication. All you see in front of the office is kids, dirt bags and hippies. He even gives those so called Prop 215 prescriptions to kids. I talked to a 16 year old that comlained of headaches and Hopkins gave him the 215 prescription.

If you want law enforcement to respect the use of marijuana, get the request from an honorable doctor, not a quack.
 

Two business owners in Upper Lake are complaining about the patients in front of Dr Hopkins office. I've read their letters of complaints and I don't believe what they are saying is true. I've never seen or smelled anyone smoking marijauna on the streets. There has never been any violence, fighting, or even an arguement of any kind. Yes they spill out onto the sidewalk, but I've walked past the sometimes crowded sidewalk many times without any problems or concerns at any time. Most of them won't even look at you because they don't want any attention brought to them at all. Let alone be video taped by Lake Countys finest. These people come from out of town and spend their hard earned money in our coffee shops, grocery stores, resturants, and shops. Isn't that why this county spent millions of dollars remodeling this town? To get people to come here and spend money.
One woman we'll call "Nancy" says she is afraid to walk down the street with her six year old daughter. "Nancy", I know you and I know it's not true. I watch you walk down the street without any concern or fear at all. I've also noticed you go to the post office but I've never seen you shop in any business in this town. I've read your letter to Dr. Hopkins and his reply to you. He gave you his private number and told you to call him and he would be on the street in 30 seconds to discharge any patient who does not maintain a civil attitude in his office or on the street. Try him, you will find him to be a man of his word.
If other doctors had the courage to do what Dr Hopkins does, in the face of threats from Law Enforcement, you wouldn't see so many people coming here. Dr Hopkins recognizes the medical value of marijuana while other doctors are prescribing much more harmful drugs to their patients. The AMA, Kaiser, and many other medical researchers are calling for medical marijuana research. It's not just about getting high.
Dr Hopkins gives free clincs once a month to people who can't afford medical care. Name one other doctor you know who does that.
I've known Dr Hopkins for many years, he is a rare individual that you would be hard pressed to find many like him. I hope he nevers leaves this town. As a business owner in Upper Lake I stand by him 100%. You three complainers need to be the ones who move out of town.
 

You have to be 18 years old to get a reccomendation from Dr Hopkins. His staff rigorously checks everyones ID. He has been reviewed by the AMA and passed insection every time. 4:18, yours is just another lie spread by the corruption supporters. And yes he is a great chiropractor too. Name another doctor who will even admit that spinal adjustment might be benifical to a patient. Dr Hopkins is concerned about what is good for the patient, not whether you think he is a Quack or not.
 

This is what I did on Mitchells web site..In the FQA Video... Instead of listing to him for the entire video AGAIN, to hear what he really said. I choose to download the video, That way when I heard Mitchell make a statement in his OWN words, I could Rewind and or fast forward to see if that was what he really said. If you choose to download the video and can stand to hear his voice. You might Fast forward to about 14 min and hear in his own words what his "Biggest Challenge in the Roll of Sheriff Is" If you "chose to accept this assignment" Come back here and tell LOVE LACE that they have not made a impression on Mitchell's Paranoia..... There are other statements I will share later.

People, Rethink the Rusty Wright story. Rusty had the keys to the armory. Had 50 cals transported across state lines twice. Who paid for all the bullets Rusty and his friends fired at the firing range? Rusty is not arrested for months later when he has a tazer in his car coincedently on the day they come to arrest him, on the day the news story was broken to the public. The day after Mandy, from the Record Bee, tipped off Rod Mitchell that the story was going to break on Lake Co. News. He's allowed to drive his 50 cal back to Utah so he can't be charged with it. Throw some minor charges at the guy and let him and the corrupte cops cover up the big stuff. There is a whole lot here more than meets the eye. Some one needs to call in the ATF. We need more debates between Mitchell and Rivero, forget Baxter he would only agree with Mitchell. Baxter has no opinion on anything.
 

As the election date approaches, Rivero will need as much volunteer help as possible, knocking on doors, signs being put up, and a whole host of other activities, anyone who can volunteer their time and effort is really going to be appreciated. He is on the offical democratic ticket that will be distributed throughout the county to all registered voters, this will be the ticket recommendation for each of the choices the democratic party suggests each registered democrat voter in the county should pick.

Our efforts as we approach the election date starting now will be to continue to apply hard and continued pressure on sheriff Mitchell and Hopkins. One important issue we are working on now, is the endorsement list of Mitchells. Since the county has indicated that anyone who is endorsing a canidate cannot have a contract for selling product to the county, all endorsements on Mitchells page must be removed if they have any contracts or sell any product or services to the county. We need everyone's help in looking at the endorsements and indicating which of those sells products to the county or has contracts. An example will be Borgie at K-ville lumber. Jonas as well is another example. If Fowler for example does an work with the county that to must be removed from the sheriffs endorsement list. We suspect they are going to try and slip this by the citizens in another attempt at a lack of transparency and truth towards the citizens of the county.

Next we have a very interested individual in the media, outside our county who we are meeting with in a couple of days, this individual is well versed in the antics of Mitchell and our BOS and we believe we have a great deal of interesting information to go with them and will be doing so soon. We will update you on that as soon as the initial meeting is complete.

Other have now been put into motion, these are investigation we are not conducting but that are being conducted by other agencies, as we said earlier we cannot go into the details of these items as we have been asked to remain silent on these for the time being.

The bar is being raised across the board in this county, the local LE and government officials understand now that it is no longer business as usual, we are not going to be stopped, their glee at thinking we were shut down, was short lived and helped us to increase our hit rate and posts. In fact we were quite pleased to hear that several news agencies and outlets were aware of the situation here in the county when we contacted them last week, and are anxious to see the continuing saga of our and the citizens efforts. Keep up the good work, and let's get Rivero elected and this terrible and disfunctional group of officials out of our county for good.

I think the reality of our local government officials is a simple one, we just do not have the smartest people running this county. They have destroyed the opportunity for growth and expansion, destroyed the lake shore with hundreds of stucco houses, for want of money. are very short-sighted and do not have a defined plan nor have they ever on the direction and needs of this county. Tag this fact along with a corrupt Sheriff and disfunctional DA the exposure to the Dinius trial and Garzoligate, along with everything else including outside media attention and this is what you get. Time for change!!!

To post 1222 another citizen was looking into those on his page that did not endorse Mitchell, Lovelace is looking into those that are on the endorsement page, who as well do business with the county, i.e. jonas, or k-ville lumber etc. We are getting that information currently, and those are just two examples. This is in regards to conflict of interest issues, and county policy.

The other aspect of this was what Rivero for sheriff was posting which is the list of all the names and people who did not endorse Mitchell, i.e. hoppy, no retired officers, no CHP management, etc etc....That list has been posted and added to on this site several times by Rivero for Sheriff, you should be able to look back and find those.

Our sheriff has had one scandal after another and still he refused to stand up and take responsibility for the workings of his office. His office has bungled a number of high profile investigations, which has resulted in our county becoming civilly liable. He denies knowledge of things that are his job to be aware of and he passes the responsibility on to his subordinates rather then stand up and be responsible. He expects subordinates to fall on their sword to cover him and just as quickly sweeps them under the carpet.


I see our Sheriff’s Department as lacking leadership from the top, which has made it the victim of micro management and mismanagement. This has caused the department to lose the trust and support of the community.


Morale within the Department is at an all time low. People are walking on eggshells for fear of attracting attention to themselves or crossing the boss. They have seen what’s happened to others and fear retribution from the top if they speak out against current practices.


A frequent complaint is a “good old boy” network where special people are promoted while others are ignored. Some people seem to get away with things while others are punished. Discipline is not dispensed fairly and equally and those who complain are threatened and victimiz.


Sheriff’s employees including high ranking members of the sheriff’s own command staff are being arrested, suspended, demoted and placed on seemingly unending administrative leave with full pay. The people are asking questions, which the sheriff refuses to answer. Instead he puts vague excuses on the county web site and hopes the questions will go away. They will not go away because the people of Lake County are demanding answers and the truth.

I for one have placed phone calls into kelseyville lumber telling them that I will not be using them any further, it is a disgrace to see companies like this endorsing Mitchell, they rely on the citizens to provide them and their familes income, and then show their true colors when backing Mitchell, I advise all of you to go to Mitchells endorsement page, find those people and or companies and call them let them know how rotten their actions are and let them know you will not be doing business with them anymore!

Excellent post 210, the McPherson situation with the vest in the lower lake locker is an issue some people are looking into. Not only were there vest in that locker, but there were weapons. McPherson did you know this was out in the open? Did you know it was being looked at? As a post mentioned a day or two ago, you are treading on thin thin ice.

The leaking of the RiMS report is small pickins compared to what is being leaked out of Mitchells regime. He has more internal people inside hitting him then from anywhere, this is the biggest aspect of his current paranoia, he does not know who is friends are and who his enemies are. The department is falling apart from the inside out. The BOS stand useless in this light and should have moved a long time ago with a common statement asking him to step down. They did not, They were not concerned about the citizens, but only their fear of Mitchell. The stranglehold Mitchell has had on this county and its citizens must stop.

weapons that were not legally registered, which he then turned over to

assault weapons.

Hey all I just got done talking to some people, it was pretty interesting, I guess old Rob the buffalo meat eating cowboy, has quite the realtionship with our local media sources, these people told me he is in daily ya they said daily communication with Liz Larsen and the record Bee. Looks like Rockin Rob has himself quite the network set up with the media sources, these people said, it is not right, I guess Rushing and the other people have some connections to. Farrington seems to have a connection to Mandy at the Bee according to these people. I thought the media was suppose to be totally bias? This does not seem to be the case, how do we know what should be reported if their connections are this close. Does it mean Liz would not say much bad about brown? This bulls**t has to stop. So who can we trust around this place?

Okay, so they "outed" Lovelace and everyone knows "who" they are. It does not seem to me that anyone "outed" is particularly worried about it....this being said, why are there still dumbies running around accusing random people of being "Lovelace"???? Well well, oh what a wicked web we weave when first we practice to deceive (the citizens)..Let's start out by asking a few oh minor questions. Did the reports sent include the kids rides that were given, while the second in command Robbie Howe took pictures? We know the rides took place and we know the pictures were taken. All that was legal? We know the location of the landings and take offs on Cobb mountain. Did someone on the BOS ask for the pictures, was Robbie Howe questioned, and oh by the way what was the discipline that was handed out to Mr. Howe for participating in that illegal activity. Oh you citizens didn't know about this, well we wonder how that could be. Did Mr. Farrington turn in the Helicopter forum conversations Garzoli had on the internet? Where he described wanting to illegally use the grant funds to train. Yup the supervisors have that documentation, unless of course someone sat on it. Oh you did not know this citizens? The documentation and copies of those conversations is available. In the conversations those professional pilots told Garzoli that what he was doing was not moral and in fact was illegal. All that wasn't left out of the reports was it BOS? Gee that might change a few things. In fact in those conversations Garzoli was told he was heading down a path for crashing. All documented and available. Now let's see on the sheriff Mitchell watch blog page, there is the Garzoli career recording, where Garzoli describes his stern disagreement with his boss Mitchell, because Garzoli indicates Mitchell knew what he was doing, and that he and Mitchell don't agree on the matter. But the mysterious e-mail shows up on the day the supervisors were taking up the issue with Garzoli covering for Mitchell. Oh we wonder if that information got in the reports? If you the citizens want to hear that recording it is on the site sheriffmitchellwatch.blogspot.com, it is on the right hand side of the page, just click the link Garzoli career audio with radio station KGO. Now we the citizens know that the BOS and Mitchell and Hopkins are totally aware of these events and conditions right? How then can the citizens and this county get the results they need when we have this level of corruption and cover up in our county? Oh did we really expect the DEA to take this on? The DEA was fully aware of these activities, they are as corrupt as the sheriff, they are not going to open up that can of worms, why would they, they already told the BOS "we consider the case closed" before the reports were sent to them. So this is a surprise? Oh there is much more we have on this subject and documentation associated with it. Our choice at this point has been to hold on to it, as who at this point would we give it to? The state see's our little county as a totally screwed up mess. Thank you BOS Thank you Mitchell, thank you Hopkins for stepping up to the plate. Thank you all for destroying our county and making us the laughing stock of the state. It is indeed a time for change, it is indeed a time for transparency because what a wicked web we weave when at first we practice to deceive. Oh by the way let's just give Garzoli his job back because you know, nothing was done wrong, everything is ok citizens, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, you county officials are in charge and all is well...Go back to sleep now they will handle it from here.
 

AG and FAA decline on taking on investigation and federal officals find no issues with the deputy's licensing or the misuse of federal monies. Wow, and John Hopkins, thinks embezzlement is a waste of his time. "Hopkins, doesn't think that potential misuse of public funds is important enough of an issue for he, and his department to allocate the resources necessary to launch a full investigation."

I have read on here time to time things about IP addresses, so lets clear up a few things about IP addresses. It is fairly simple to find IP addresses, it is a bunch of numbers. However, in order for anyone to find out WHO that IP address belongs to is another story. That takes a court order. If dish network, mediacom, AOL etc. started giving out people's account info to anyone who asked they wouldn't be in business very long. I have only heard of one civil situation infering that someone involved in the Dinus lawsuit was hunting down IP addresses because of things that got posted over on Lake Co Record Bee topix page. I am not even sure if that is in fact a true story. As far as this blog goes, it is not trackable. I have been told that the blog moderator does not track peoples IP address and nor do they have a program in place to do so. Lake Co Record Bee however is another story. So what it comes down to is anyone saying that they tracked down this blog via this blogs IP address is blowing smoke and nothing more.
 

That is correct post 909, and in fact there are numerous methods of changing IP address's which are employed. As well for those using their individual computers, it is quite easy to change your IP, how? Just unplug your modem for 5 minutes and turn it back on, the modem will search a new IP address. This information can be found on the internet with ease. Oh by the way, they will never get anything from Google either, google just told China to take a hike, so believe me they would not be to concerned about little old sheriff Mitchell. LOL there is no IP tracking here, The Record Bee is running scared, as if they really think they will be sued if someone on their topix page writes something untoward, that is one of the greatest reaches in the history of the Internet. I suspect the Bee may have different motives. If you do post on the Bee and are concerned just unplug your modem after your post and bingo you will have a different IP when plugging it back in.

Unless you have a static or permanent IP Then you can use a Proxy server and they will change it every time through several servers making it almost impossible to trace. You can find them on the internet.
 

People, lets just back away for a second that Garzoli did NOT commit any crimes. Lets look into the administrative issues instead.

CONDUCT UNBECOMING A DEPUTY: Prior to the helicopter crash, Garzoli and Mitchell were involved in the attempted purchase of two helicopters from the military. It was determined that a helicopter program was to expensive to maintain and the insurance was too high. Knowing this, Garzoli tried to obtain a commercial helicopter license. Since he could not afford it, Garzoli wrote the DEA grant with a clause that the company under contract would train him as a pilot. Garzoli did this even though he had been told NO HELICOPTER!

We can go on and on about the statements made on other blogs, but it just breaks down to a deputy using county time and money for his own personal gain.

Than we have Capt. Brown, who knew that Garozli made sexist statements to an Evidence Technician, but did nothing. County rules state sexual harassment SHALL be fully investigated and the proper action taken. In this case, just because Garzoli was a manager at the time, simply making an apology is "proper action" in Mitchell's management.

The sexist comments would might not be a big thing, except this is not the first time. Several months prior, Garzoli put a photo of his wife on his office wall. His wife was holding a clam in a very provocative position. Three weeks later, that photo mysteriously disappeared.

So, don't worry too much about criminal charges, lets just get him fired and hopefully Mitchell too!
 

Remember the Email Garzoli sent Mitchell? Wasn't that a signed confession?
 

It's not Lake County that is a laughing stock worldwide thanks to the Dinius case, And now Garzoligate. Thanks to the internet, People around the world are wondering why the citizens will not stand up to the Powers that be. Lake county by itself cannot be either good or bad. The Powers that govern and the citizens of the county make it either Good or Bad. If you have Bad local government and the Good citizens allow them to continue then the Good citizens share the blame. When the comments come in from around the world they don't ask what is wrong with the local government. They ask what is wrong with the citizens that live there. I refuse to be one of the "Good" citizens that stood by while the local government soils Lake Countys Reputation any further.

agencies that train their own pilots on the taxpayer dime are guilty of
fraud? WTF? For the record, I have already done everything you guys are
suggesting, presentations RE: cost savings of operating a 300/R22 or
R44 VS 206's & 500's, training our own guy(s) to operate one,
future purchase/lease of our own, savings etc., and have been approved.

training under the table while flying dope missions. I'm glad to hear
and not afraid to admit I was wrong. I'm sorry.
If you've got the green light from the boss to get your ratings, then
why not go to a full time school and do it the right way?

an
hour looking for dope an hour training.... or vice versa. I've been
riding co-pilot with a good friend who is a 16000+ hr CFI for 13 years
and along the way he has taught me to fly. What I am lacking is FORMAL
intensive emergency procedures and ground school only because until now
I have not really been serious about getting a rating. We fly around
looking for weed and having all kinds of fun doing it. I have an annual
budget of nearly $100K to rent a helo to spot weed and I have always
used a 206 or 500, which is where I logged all my time(albeit dual).
If I can't work a way to get a private rating with this kind of access
to helo's then so be it, frankly I am content to just get to fly
turbines for 20+hrs a year, but my friend is the one encouraging me to
git er done so to speak. My goal would be to get a private rating and
after that do the weed flying solo in a leased 300 to build time toward
a commercial and in 15 years or so have 1000hrs and be a pilot for a
retirement job.
 

As you can see by the above posts from the Garzoi helo forum, this guy was corrupt from the get go. We all know that and all these transcripts are in the BOS hands. They have choosen to do nothing, Farriington is claiming frustration, get a clue Farrington what you are being told is take care of business on your end, we are not your baby sitters, step up to the plate and fire Garzoli, period. You want someone else to do your bidding for you and they are telling you they are not. So do what you have been told to do for months. And it would be wise to do what you have been told to do for months as well, ask Mitchell and Hopkins to step down, imagine how much easier life would be right now if the BOS had the guts in the first place to make that statement. You should have listened to Lovelace a long time ago.

Sheriff Mitchell failed to supervise the Dinius/perdock investigation.
Sheriff Mitchell failed to supervise one of his command staff member by allowing Garzoli to write the helicopter grant. He failed to review it, he failed to advise the BOS, etc,.
Sheriff Mitchell has closed his eyes to the improper conduct of some of his command staff. Mitchell should have started an investigation to Perdock's conduct immediately after the boating accident. Ensuring that no Departmental policy or law was violated. Write more later, the boss it here

(CNN) -- Google on Monday announced it has stopped censoring search results in China.

The announcement came amid speculation that the search giant would pull out of China entirely and sets up a showdown with the Communist leadership there.

In a 3:03 p.m. ET post on its official blog, Google said it stopped running the censored Google.cn service on Monday and was routing its Chinese users to an uncensored version of Google based in Hong Kong.

"We want as many people in the world as possible to have access to our services, including users in mainland China, yet the Chinese government has been crystal clear throughout our discussions that self-censorship is a non-negotiable legal requirement," said Senior Vice President David Drummond, Google's chief legal officer, on the blog.

Google hopes the move "will meaningfully increase access to information for people in China," Drummond wrote.
 

Supervisor
Jeff Smith said county employees and department heads have a
responsibility to report budget items to the Board of Supervisors,
which is ultimately responsible for spending.
"Any employee using taxpayer funds in a way they should not be used needs to pay the consequences," Smith said.
"Elected
officials have to answer to the people for their actions and have to
answer to us for budgetary items and where the money goes," Smith said.
District Attorney Jon Hopkins said he hasn't kept track of Garzoli's helicopter use and has not filed a case on the issue.

Attend the BOS meeting Tomorrow! Make it known that the investigation is once again in their laps and they need to act on it. No more of this shit of passing the buck. They are paid to do a job and by God its time to do it! Remind them election is coming up and they will all be removed by the seat of their pants if they do not handle this situation and all the rest. Funny stuff about face book 4:09. On your day off, just look around on Face book and you will see all kinds of picture and comments that our local DDA/LE and their spouses have on their Face book pages. Lots of drinking, partying etc. I wonder who their D driver(s) is that takes em all home safe? Oh, they get a pass I forgot, no DUI's for them. I liked the pictures of pot busts and the one with everone in front of the blue & white helo. Great stuff! Sadly, people are un-aware that Face book refreshes from time to time and this resets your privacy settings so if you're not careful, everyone can see your stuff. But hey it makes it very entertaining for all of us "non" DA/LE family or buddies.
