Today in the Record Bee is an article on Morshed. Seems Mitchell has turned the investigation over to the state Department of Justice to assume the investigation. What's wrong Mitchell, your GOB's can investigate the Dinius and Garzoli cases but not a lonely deputy? What's good for the goose is NOT good for the gander. What a double standard supervisor you are.
 

The largest supporters in Mitchell's original campaign for Sheriff seems to be as corrupt as Mitchell or don't want anything to do with him.

I make no bones about it.I have excepted the fact that the system is out of wack in lake county. I have met you and you would leave the status quo in place. Think about this. Under Mitchell's management and in just in three years the public has seen the Dinius mess, Garzoli's offenses, Wright's theft, the promotion of a jailer Esburg over deputies, a sergeant that can't manage the range (and was his only duty) and now Morshed.

Can you not see a problem? All of the above gave Mitchell far to much advanced notice of their incompetence and now look what we have.

As a sheriff's wife testifies that she knew that the LCSO was crucifying the messenger and this was being used as an example to anyone thinking of jumping MItchell's ship. Pat McMahon should understand that he has more dirt on Mitchell than Mitchell has on him and he needs to come clean before Mitchell comes down. The truth will come out and then we will know who Mitchell answers to.

By a system that only protected one of their own. I have seen the apathy standing outside the court house. I have seen with my own eyes the lies they will tell to protect themselves. Please get your facts right. The quote from Mitchell was, " LCSO has since requested the assistance of the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and that agency agreed to take over the investigation."

As you see, it says TAKE OVER THE INVESTIGATION. It does not say assist or investigate evidence.

Protect Perdock and that's what they did a jury of their peers said Dinius was innocent. Now 8 officers are named in a civil rights lawsuit and Dinius will prevail in that lawsuit all 8 protected Perdock.

It is reported on channel 7 news that the Walnut Creek Piedmont store is a total loss, the fire erupted into flames starting around 2pm and was out by 6pm, fire crews will be on the scene overnight to watch hot spots, people living in the area reported that the store was getting close to closing down. This from channel 7 news.

I have it on good authority that certain actions of the LCSO that violated someone's civil rights may soon be discussed in an Associated Press article out of Washington D.C. (I spoke with the reporter myself, when she called the person in question). She has also emailed the person, and feels it is a compelling story that she'd like to tell, and is doing more research for related cases before issuing the article. This is in relation to a pending case that Hopkins is pushing, even though there are major problems with what was done and how it was done. Keep your eyes out on the news -- I will give more information when it is available.

I will be the first to say I'm thankful that we still have a avenue to express our views and ideas about how to take our county back. It's about time the citizens have a voice and a place to have our voices heard.

As you know there has been an attempt to discredit me, This was quite an interesting last few days as the evil and infamous Lovelace was born as a single entity. People trumpeted the down fall of Lovelace and the blog. As I said I am not Lovelace, the community is Lovelace. It is the voice of the people The posting of a DUI report, and the attempted attacks upon me through this venue are as follows. First let me state yes indeed I got a DUI, I have never hidden that fact from anyone, nor do I see a need to. I am 53 years old that was my first DUI. It stunned me when it occurred, and I learned a great deal about the process of DUI’s, the makeup of the current system on DUI’s and have begun my own personal campaign to write the wrongs that have been created by the MADD organization. This site is not about that and therefore I will not labor on that subject except to say I went to a Peter Frampton concert at Konocti with my wife and good friend. I will not go into the details of the whole process but would like to warn every citizen to be careful, I can assure you if you are at a .08 level, you will not know it. I consumed three glasses of wine, in a 3 hour concert night. Please be careful out there, a little wine tasting, a couple of beers at the ballgame with your son or daughter and you could become a victim of an out of control policy and system.
To those who have used various methods of attempting to attack me and create the great demon called Lovelace, you fail to understand who and what Lovelace is. To the individuals who have put the greatest effort out to discredit me you are known. These matters are being looked into.
We have seen this pattern of attack and discredit too many times in this county, everyone should agree the time has come for this practice to stop. Please always remember you are public servants, always should the citizens come first. This county is in a difficult condition, it is not the citizens who have created this condition. It is the citizens who are working on correcting the condition.
Anger usually comes and stems from fear, my first reaction was anger to these attacks, I overcame that, and suggest you do the same. This county will change, as we have said over and over, it is a difficult process and transformation, but it will come.
I am a man who has made his share of mistakes in my life, but I care and I will not stop caring, I will not stop working for the citizens and for change. For those that may have thought this was the case you are mistaken. I see my own self as working for the people of this county, and for the good that will come from this cause. Many organizations have contacted us since we shut down for the past few, days and we and I are humbled and grateful for that contact, advice, and caring. We have been advised to keep going to fight the good fight, and so we will and we hope the BOS and Those who know that change must and will come understand the end game is a community working in concert with the LE and in transparent and open communications the will of the citizens holds the day. and I am proud to be a single member of such a fine group of people as the Lovelace group.

Who gives a shit who San Jose PD or any other outsiders support for our election? The endorsements mean nothing unless they are giving money like Mitchell's people do. Rivero supporters are up front in wanting Mitchell and his gang out of office. Mitchell's supporters are all the would be special people of Lake County who think Mitchell is something special who they can use. What does Mitchell do for them? CCW permits, Sheriff's Advisory Groups who do nothing but pat oneanother on the back, stores who Mitchell sends county business too?

Mitchell and his gang have run roughshod over the good people of Lake County long enough and people are sick pf the intimidation and phoneyness. He is not our sheriff he is the sheriff of the pseudo big shots who run around kissing his backside so they all feel like they are something.

Mitchell is worried because finally we have people stanbding up to him and he knows he's on thin ice and the days are getting warmer. He is actively coming out with rumors, inuendo and lies on all his competition including all of us on this blog. Look right through him because that's the only transparency we'll ever get with him.
 

Good job Bruce. You made a mistake. It could happen to any of us. You paid the Piper and learned from it. Now it's over and done with. A DUI has nothing to do with a citizens right to speak out when we see injustice or to voice their opinion even if it may be unpopular. For those who were so quick to jump ship and laugh at LOVELACE when they outted Bruce I guess the jokes on you. Lets make sure they don't turn the tables on us and make the joke on us.

This is a good example of just how stupid it is running around trying to dig up petty dirt or make blanket accusations based on rumor or perception. Look at what's happened to our own Sheriff's Office under Mitchell. Our county has become a sad laughing stock thanks to these people who continue to thumb their noses at us. We must stand together or they will turn us against one another which they continue to try.

It does not matter who LOVELACE is or who Bruce is. What matters is the message that people are trying to get across and that we are sick and tired of business as usual and we're not going to take it anymore. We are all LOVELACE, everyone who tries to post a reasonable common sense opinion. Those who choose to rant and rave about nothing will do so no matter what the truth may be but it's tiome for the silent majority to come out with Bruce and be heard loud and clear.

I'm slipping back into the shadow but I'm watching along with the good people of Lake County.

Lamont, you have just spoken for many people, I to want to thank the Lovelace group for coming back on line, our county has never seen such a thing. I was saddened when I had thought that the system had taken another good man down. The citizens need strong people like Bruce and the Lovelace group, you have my support, thank you Bruce for standing tall against such attacks. I know you are better for it, and the citizens have seen finally out in the open the terrible potential of our current government and management of our LE.
 

I want to know how Rob Brown got the infamous DUI print, come on Rob did you really scan through all the potential arrests one by one on the public computer? Over the past many many months? Or did someone on the inside run an inquiry for you, give you the information then you posted it? I am a citizen who doesn't post much but I was in the LE I know how the system works, I think your actions were wrong and possibly illegal. I speak for myself, but that was a weak and childish move. Good job Lovelace, thanks Bruce, hey the citizens got your back, you know that!
 

My fellow LCSO deputies. During the last few years we have watched our good department picked apart by the public. The blame for this is the one in charge, not just the deputies. There is too much mess to overlook. If the problem was just Perdock or Garzoli, than the public would not be in such an uproar. Think about this?

Perdock: If Mitchell would have denied all deputies access to the Dinius report and he had not responded to the scene, the public would not be in such an outraged. Perdock's false statements and the DA's foolish prosecution could be easily been separated from LCSO involvement.

Garzoli: Lets face it, we all have had run ins with him. He loved picking on the lower ranging persons, displaying raunchy photo's or websites to deputies or trying to be the first at everything. If Mitchell would have conducted an IA on Garzoli and punished him, most of his crap would have been mute instead of allowing him to self demote.

Morshed: Remember, he only got a suspension for his on duty acts. There had been other deputies who had been terminated for this type of conduct in the past. Morshed should have been harshly dealt with at the start and not given a simple slap on the hand. Now look, another headline accused bad LCSO cop.

Wright: Mitchell hand picked Sgt. McPherson to supervise the range. We all know how protective Don is of the range. If McPherson can't even supervise a correctional officer, he should not be wearing sergeant's stripes. Had McPherson taken action on Rusty shooting unauthorized weapons, maybe the rest would not have happened.

Navarro: As FTO's we warned Garzoli (then FTO Supervisor) of Navarro's immature nature and he should have never been allowed to pass the FTO Program. Making him Deputy of the Year was also a big mistake, while passing on good deputies such as Samples, Herdt, Ski and others.

McMahon: Ask Davidson about his actions at the party in front of his house. Or how about what occurred between him and Howe at a bar. Then look at McMahon's promotion 18 months later.

Also my fellow deputies don't forget the failure to release the EEOC findings and others. Mitchell needs to be replace by either Baxter or Rivero. I'm sorry, but there is no other choice.

What Failure to release the EEOC filings? Even Rivero says he can't talk about it because the investigation isn't concluded.

"Rivero told Lake County News that he found mention of his EEOC complaint in the documents “troubling at best.” He suggested a link with his case was an attempt to sully his reputation and was retaliation for his EEOC complaint, which he can't discuss because it's still working its way through the process."

Get that last part? "Still working it's way through the process."

It seems the person who posted the rims report mainly wanted to expose the corruption within....since going to the DOJ or AJ does nothing at all.
I think it was a smart thing to do; quick and to the point. Reporting illegal activity shouldn't be illegal seems more like an ethical point, considering the circumstances.

Yes the sheriff Mitchell watch blog is back! Hello my name is Bruce Forsythe, you may have heard of me, I was designated as the great Lovelace. No I am not, No I am not Lovelace as a single entity, Lovelace is group of citizens dedicated to the task of bringing accountability back to our county, dedicated to bringing transparency and justice back to our county, dedicated to repairing the great rift that exists between our citizens and our local government and Law Enforcement.

As you know there has been an attempt to discredit me, This was quite an interesting last few days as the evil and infamous Lovelace was born as a single entity. People trumpeted the down fall of Lovelace and the blog. As I said I am not Lovelace, the community is Lovelace. It is the voice of the people The posting of a DUI report, and the attempted attacks upon me through this venue are as follows. First let me state yes indeed I got a DUI, I have never hidden that fact from anyone, nor do I see a need to. I am 53 years old that was my first DUI. It stunned me when it occurred, and I learned a great deal about the process of DUI’s, the makeup of the current system on DUI’s and have begun my own personal campaign to write the wrongs that have been created by the MADD organization. This site is not about that and therefore I will not labor on that subject except to say I went to a Peter Frampton concert at Konocti with my wife and good friend. I will not go into the details of the whole process but would like to warn every citizen to be careful, I can assure you if you are at a .08 level, you will not know it. I consumed three glasses of wine, in a 3 hour concert night. Please be careful out there, a little wine tasting, a couple of beers at the ballgame with your son or daughter and you could become a victim of an out of control policy and system.
To those who have used various methods of attempting to attack me and create the great demon called Lovelace, you fail to understand who and what Lovelace is. To the individuals who have put the greatest effort out to discredit me you are known. These matters are being looked into.
We have seen this pattern of attack and discredit too many times in this county, everyone should agree the time has come for this practice to stop. Please always remember you are public servants, always should the citizens come first. This county is in a difficult condition, it is not the citizens who have created this condition. It is the citizens who are working on correcting the condition.
Anger usually comes and stems from fear, my first reaction was anger to these attacks, I overcame that, and suggest you do the same. This county will change, as we have said over and over, it is a difficult process and transformation, but it will come.
I am a man who has made his share of mistakes in my life, but I care and I will not stop caring, I will not stop working for the citizens and for change. For those that may have thought this was the case you are mistaken. I see my own self as working for the people of this county, and for the good that will come from this cause. Many organizations have contacted us since we shut down for the past few, days and we and I are humbled and grateful for that contact, advice, and caring. We have been advised to keep going to fight the good fight, and so we will and we hope the BOS and Those who know that change must and will come understand the end game is a community working in concert with the LE and in transparent and open communications the will of the citizens holds the day. and I am proud to be a single member of such a fine group of people as the Lovelace group.

You seem to forget there are three other EEOC complaints. If you had listened to the Rivero/Mitchell debate on the air you would see those were done. A copy is with the BOS and Mitchell. As with Rivero, we all wonder why this complaint is not done, or is it done and Mitchell/BOS don't want to release it? Look into the EEOC rules and you will see there is no information on if the victim gets informed of the findings.

Great post on 1049, contacting Indybay is a good expansion of the notification process which is moving our Lake County issues out and beyond the boarders of our county. This kind of exposure is a positive step to and excellent method to increase our safety in this county, and move the process forward, the Lovelace group is so valuable to our county, I for one am so grateful you are all ok and back on line. I am disapointed that the corruption runs so very deep, it runs in to business's, into owners who don't want change, there is it seems a "click" or group who want the status quo to stay the same, and can't see the reality that this must stop, the citizens must take the helm back from this group. Someone should ask Rob Brown about his uncle that had to eat out of garbage cans and panhandle. He drove an old green ford van around. So Bruce don't let Brown push you around about mistakes that people make. That's life. Browns an old timer, so are we and we know things.

Thanks 716, I just want to see LCSO return to the level I remember when I started. I've worked with some great deputies come and go and have seen good changes to outright bad changes. When Mitchell got elected the first time, we were happy with his actions. We got the take home car program, better equipment and uniforms. You don't know how much time is saved just getting in your car and being able to help the public right away. Some deputies even start their shift an hour early. It wasn't like that when we had to bring our equipment in, find a car and hope your assigned car wasn't totalled overnight. I remember Ringen had a brand new patrol car and was parked at the office. A new deputy took it out and totalled it.

But with the good came the bad. More bad than good. We first had to deal with Buckholtz and his bully type of supervision. Then Perdock's retaliation. If that wasn't enough, Garzoli makes his way through the ranks picking on any cop lower ranking than he. Even after promotion he smiled because Mitchell gave him seniority over all the other sergeants. McMahon's outragous off duty activity is so much of an embarrassment we still are amazed the media never caught on to it. Brown's promotion to captain is still spinning heads. A person who never supervised deputies makes it from sergeant all the way to captain. He has to be the greatest ass kisser I've ever seen.

Now with Perdock, Morshed, Garzoli, Wright and who know what's next our fine department has been tarnished to the point that I don't know if could ever shine again. As I have said, Mitchell has been Sheriff for to long. It is time for a change, either Baxter or Rivero.

Buckholtz has been bad news since the 70's. I am an old timer and that guy has been the worst "cop" the county ever had. He along with others made more money off of the drug deals in the country than the drug lords themselves. The county is MUCH bigger, but the MO is the same. Mitchell is one bad apple after another, and the beat goes on. Mitchell overseeing the City of Clearlake is laughable. He is just more of the same and the businesses that side with him should go down with him. There is room for honesty in the work place, it is just these thugs like control.

Lovelace, we are happy you are back. We watched for two days while two of the corruption supporters tagged teamed each other over on topix trying to get people to post. We became aware a while back that the record bee topix admin. had added software that captures IP addresses among other information. It was installed to fight the problems they have been having with "libel issues". If you write something offensive and try and post it, the program tells you to be "nice". On Topix many posts are being deleted, as many as 30 or 40 a day on some threads. We honestly felt that we were being baited to post.
 

I can understand why the SO Deputies feel they must remain anonomous. Mitchel has proven time and again that he is a vindictive, unforgiving man with anyone who should cross him or fail to agree. Check out Sheriff Rod Mitchell's official Lake County Sheriff's web site where he is proudly posting a booking photo of Bruce and his ID information. The last I heard Bruce was not the subject of an official criminal investigation. He was not a wanted criminal. He paid his debt to society for the DUI and accepted the consequences.

Where does Mitchell get off trying to discredit a citizen on an official web site for disagreeing with him or for posting his opinion? Where is our right to free speach and to the protection we ex[ect from LE. This is wrong and Rod needs to pay for this. To me it sounds like Mitchell may have committed a crime himself or at the very least of violation of policy. Is there an attorney out there who knows if there are grounds for Bruce to sue the pants off this thug.

He has his own officers afraid of him and he's trying hard to make the community afraid of him. This borders on the begining of a police state with Heir Mitchell as the Furer......

How can we state this any better than this:
1. Mitchell could not control his best friend and 2nd in command of LCSO, Perdock, from interfering in a criminal investigation. His best friend/2nd in charge gave false information to investigators and his best friend/2nd in charge of LCSO stated under oath that he feels like a victim too! At the first sign of Perdock’s interference, Perdock should have been place on Admin Leave.

2. Mitchell should have read the DEA grant before signing it. I believe he did since I know Mitchell can read "PILOT" on Garzoli's jumpsuit. Garzoli sexist comments around the office were well known throughout the department and even known to Capt. Brown. Still neither Mitchell nor Brown would take any action until the public became outraged.

3. Mitchell had the opportunity to take down Morshed the first time, but only gave him a suspension and only demoted him permanently after he messed up again. Now Morshed is accused of a crime that again puts LCSO in the public humiliation light.

4. Mitchell assigned Sgt. McPherson to the sole job of running the range after returning from active military duty. McPherson answered to nobody and did what he wanted at the range. Now we have items stolen from the range, illegal weapons used and all by a simple correctional officer that was supposed to be supervised by McPherson.

This type of action cannot go unchecked. We need a leader that leads conducts a fair investigation into misconduct, supervises his managers and takes responsibility for mistakes. Mitchell was a good Sheriff for the first several years, but the power has gone to his head. This action has to stop and a change is needed. Bauman is the most senior manager at LCSO, but he refused to challenge Mitchell. Markham has been asked by numerous deputies to run, but he too refused. The two most respected managers LCSO has had were afraid and dared not challenge Mitchell. Then along comes a lonely deputy and an old retired SJPD sergeant. If you want change, it’s Rivero or Baxter. There is no other choice.

Can you just imagine how bad it will be if he were to be re-elected for another four years in office. By all means, vote for Baxter. Just remember, people will either vote for Mitchell or not. This means the "not" are now split between Baxter and Rivero. What was once a 50/50 challenge is now a 50/25/25 split in Mitchell’s favor. I don't understand why Baxter waited until after the LEO debate and the radio debate to come forward. Also remember, Baxter has still not spoken to any organization, but still hangs out at Rivero's lectures. He was not truthful about his support and now only has four supporters (according to his website). Was this a plan by Mitchell all along? Split the opponent’s votes so that Mitchell needs only “one vote” to win? Baxter hasn’t spent any money yet except the filing fees.

The sad part is you may be right about a split vote whic could work in Mitchell's favor. I think Rodney may be in for a big surprise when people he thinks are his supporters jump ship in the polling booth and vote for Rivero or Baxter.

it seems strange to me that Mitchell has a job at all at the lcso instead of being one of its inmates. growing up in this county, i have heard strange whispers and dark rumors constantly swirling around certain individuals;rod mitchell, jon hopkins, rob brown, etc... at some point i also began looking for some validity to these claims of rampant corruption. first, rod mitchell and his botched possibly criminal handling of the perdock affair. I among dozens of locals, saw mr. perdock at konocti that night, yet was never contacted by anyone from any investigating body, nor were any of the employees who served him drinks that dark saturday night. Mr. joe gliebbe, manager at konocti that night, had he been asked earlier may have been more reluctant to bury this fact. in fact, before i contacted mr. haltom(bismarks lawyer) he had no idea what konocti harbor resort was. the omission of this information when the lcso certainly knew(but failed to document)he had been at a BAR that evening effectively destroyed any chain of circumstantial evidence indicating perdocks possible culpibility in dui manslaughter. Next, mitchells buddy hopkins has to get the incomptent idiot of the year award. I will never forget his reasoning for charging bismark with the murder commited by his other buddy perdock. He felt the evidence against perdock was insufficiant to convict so decided only to charge another victim of that crime, bismark for it. this moron somehow thought he could convince a jury that bismark was actually to blame, but not perdock? his absurd decision with always be the part of that tragedy to stick out in peoples minds. And lastly, mr. brown. Mr. brown apparently had some thousands of marijuana plants growing on his lake county ranch, which was discovered and reported by workmen shortly before it was to be raided by the dea and camp. Mr. brown, how on earth could someone being growing that much pot on your land unnoticed? are you that ignorant? where did these "mexicans" get the thousands of gallons of water these plants needed every day? remember, im talking about 5-10,000 gallons a day! did you and your family not notice the extensive irrigation systems being installed? the tanks or cisterns? your either the worlds worst rancher, blind, or a pot grower. hmmm... wonder where you got your money? in closing i will relay a story told to me by several locals whom still fear for their saftey because of the lcso. three years ago, several south county residents watched a helicopter remove tons of pot from rugged canyons and load it onto large vehicles. this operation took several days but was never reported in the local news or otherwise. while it was clearly an lcso operation, and a huge bust, a sheriff one of these people personally knew and asked was unaware of this operation. a short time later, this resident and several neighbors were warned by an unknown person not to discuss this matter ever again. within days of the operation, lcso staff randomly stopped 2 vehicles leaving town with several mexicans, a large amount of pot and a unusually large amount of cash. the mexicans confessed to recieving the money in exchange for growing a still undetermined garden. Could that pot harvested by lcso helicopter have been theirs? one does hear strange rumors about cops selling large amounts of marijuana in this county. one also wonders how certain sheriffs(and supervisors) maintain a fairly well to do lifestyle on middle class salaries? could this network be protecting itself from scrutiny by maintaining a hold on investigating agencies within the county? i would welcome any comments, corrections, clarifications, or any other insight into these speculations, and lets get out in the open!

I have searched, recovered and destroyed ton's of marijuana grows. I can tell you that most are hidden very well. Yes I've been on Brown's property and yes it is easy to hide a grow on it. Look, nobody has ever proved that Brown even likes marijuana let alone sell it. This is mute, just get back to Mitchell and Hopkins.

I am working on Mitchell's site. So far I have found two who were showed on Mitchell site that not only did not support him, but is very upset they were on his site. I'm building a list (like I did with Baxter) and should be down by tomorrow.
 

I didn't get to post last night or see the blog, so was interested in the amount of corruption supportors that have come back on the site, it appears only a few did, funny as usual they never post facts, and use their little "in the bathroom comments, etc. Do they realize how dumb they look? I find it hard to believe that anyone would want these nut cases supporting them. Good to see the Lovelace group back on line, the little ploy by Mitchell did not work. I can imagine the look on these guys faces when this came back on line. Good for you Lovelace, great job Bruce, way to stand tall. I bet you laughed more then you were concerned! When when you see those kind of small town tactic's you know you got to them. In fact I think this has given more support to the Lovelace group and how they are trying to help the county and its people. You have gained more supporters Lovelace and that's more people to not vote for Mitchell. Keep up the good work.

Actually to me it appears that since the attempted shut down of the site, the Lovelace group has more to investigate then ever before. These guys look real bad, and I would expect we will hear a lot more about the mistakes legal and otherwise these guys made. I have a feeling the BOS is squirming a bit in their seats as well. They should have done what lovelace has been saying all along, ask Mitchell to step down, now the public is fully behind the Lovelace group and they are on the outs. Imagine if the BOS had simply done what was right when they were told to? By the way if the BOS is in charge of the money how can they be 24 million dollars in the whole as reported on Tuesday with fines collections etc. Wouldn't you be on that at say 5 million instead of not knowing and having to be told it is 24 million. This we only handle the money is not working to well for them or the citizens is it!
 

Okay here we go again.
Mitchell did not lock down the Dinius case. Perdock accessed the report after ordered not to do so. Perdock forced Mitchell to allow a simple mechanic to access a secured structure when Pedock's boat was impounded against the investigator's advice. Perdock gave false information to the investigators and Mitchell tried to cover up all the PAS stuff.

Than we have Garzoli. Posting a photo of his wife in a sexually provocative position on his office wall, showing porn sights to detectives, picking on lower ranking deputies and making fun of all the sergeants because Mitchell allowed him to keep his seniority after demotion. Even Capt. Brown knew of Garzoli's sexist remarks and did nothing. Then Garzoli wrote a DEA grant that includes pilot training and parades around the office in the DEA purchased flight suit with "PILOT" on it. After that well now know of the famous crash. Mitchell signed the DEA grant even after reading the pilot training. Look it's simple; it says "PILOT" on Garzoli's suit. Are you saying you can't read PILOT on a suit Mitchell?

Let’s also look into the Wright incident. Mitchell's personally picked the range supervise, Sgt. McPherson. McPherson and Wright were in the National Guard together. McPherson personally picked Wright as a Range Officer. Then statements come forward that illegal weapons are used on the range, weapons are modified and equipment comes up missing. We are supposed to believe that McPherson knew nothing of this? Oh come on Mitchell, pull your head out of the sand.

Now we have the Morshed incident. Morshed was Mitchell's former neighbor who on top of being a deputy, mowed Mitchell's lawn and helped Mitchell get elected the first time. Mitchell had good reason to geminately demote or even fire Morshed in the past but didn't. Now Morshed is accused of taking an unauthorized report "after" Morshed filed an EEOC complaint and expressed his support for Rivero.

So what else? Let’s not forget, there are three EEOC complaints against Mitchell and Mitchell refuses to release the findings of any. Mitchell also refuses to promote any minority to management.

This is the public's choice for Sheriff? I think not!

Oh and lets talk about the "suprise" portable radio. Morshed, Hall and McMahon were part of SED (Special Enforcement Division). All three and SWAT deputies had older radioes with that chip installed. When we updated to a newer radio, there was never an order to return the old ones. That is because the deputies kept them as backup. My radio is next to my computer and yes I use it as a scanner just like Mitchell does at night.

Let's look; Morshed files a complaint to the DOJ last year reporting that he fears retaliation of his Dinius testimony;and other issues. He reports that there are witnesses that saw Perdock at Konocti and finds that this had already been reported to a former interim shift supervisor and no report was taken; DOJ responds by sending a copy of his complaint to Mitchell; Slurs are thrown at him so he files a complaint to the EEOC; Now is accused of posting a rims report and under an internal investigation. SO finds equipment in his possession that has been issued to him as part of his duty.
Finds MAV tapes at his home that he uses in court and calls it something else??
Does this seem like a set up?

My experience in the past is that the EEOC doesn't do ANYTHING, members of the Sheriff's Department would file things with the EEOC and it would take forever or nothing gets done...Has anyone had that problem?

I think that some people are frustrated with our elected officals and feel the need to vent. I am not saying it is right but better to post it on a blog than to take it further. Many people over the years have been stepped on and for the most part the citizens of Lake County are tired of it all. I say vote for change, it is our only way to get free from the people we now have running our goverment.

All Jon Hopkins employees will vote for Hopkins because they want to stay employed. Change is needed but you the voters need to make it happen.
 

Everyone I think you can rest assured that the incidents of the past few days and the conduct of Mitchell and all others is being looked at very carefully from a legal perspective, posting of information on the sheriff website and many other events of the past couple days has been documented fully and is being followed up on, make no mistake about it. To the good citizens supporting and offering assistance and advice it all is being brought to bear in what decisions will be made.

The postings on this site have increased dramatically since it came back up the support is growing leaps and bounds, and it appears that the antics of those that would take the citizens out has actually increased the citizens awareness and dis-trust of the Mitchell regime and of many others.
