I hear Rivero is a good guy too. Give it time. If he doesn't make it this election, maybe Mitchell will let him do something in Detectives or whatever. He can still do some good as long as he doesn't P off the chain of command.

How can you say Mitchell is a good Sheriff.

Mitchell allowed and assisted in interfering in the Dinius investigation, he refused to lock down the Dinius case and he fired the only cop who testified against the department.

Than you have the Garzoli mess. Mitchell did not read the DEA grant before signing it, allowed Garzoli to pilot it and allowed children to ride in that same helicopter.

Than you have the Dusty Wright case. A fired Correctional Officer who committed a felony by being in possession of stolen property and did not arrest him until the press published the case.

Now we have the Morshed case. Martin claims his was investigating Morshed because he was disgruntled, had filed and EEOC complaint and Martin did not find that so call magical USB thumb drive. So the focus of the investigation was because of the EEOC complaint against Mitchell. Can you say BIG law suit on the way?
 

The DSA vote is a endorsement that the status quo is just fine by them. Then what would that say about them? Why would they have to endorse anyone this far from the election? I have met officer Rivero on numerous occasions and if I was dishonest or other problems that would need looking at officer Rivero would not be my choice. If I would not like the citizens as a review of any sort.Then officer Rivero would not be for me.Yes I have no problem understanding your fear. Officer for sheriff.
 

Mitchell could release the EEOC report today, and if it clears the Department and employees that would answer alot of questions we the voters have. If he does not release the reports the question will continue to be an issue. It really does appear that Mitchell and his crew has committed some type of crime or cover-up with him refusing to release the report. Mitchell continues to run a dysfunctional LE department. The BOS keeps closing there eyes to the problems within Mitchell's Department why is that?!!! So Mitchell tell the truth and save some face.

Lovelace did you see the record bee article about the Freedom House in Kelseyville? Thanks lovelace you stood up for all the people working so hard at the Freedom House. Thank you post 7:32, we are very happy with the front page article in the Record Bee, as we had reported we were not going to stand for that, we hammered as you said, both Denise, nMitchell and Gary hard and non-stop all day yesterday, as the citizens can see it payed off and Gary did the right thing. This is what the power of the citizens can do. We can no longer stand for this type of game playing. The citizens will demand honesty and clarity.

There was a post above, concerning our hammering of Marty and his dropping out of the race, they tried to say we were not responsible for Marty dropping out, what we were responsible for was bringing clarity to Marty's thought process, and quickly going over the issues he was going to face, it was done with facts and the reality of what he would have to overcome if he were to stay in the race. Yes we were responsible for Marty leaving the race, but as well we have invited Marty to join us in the Rivero camp and do the good work of the people.
 

Our last post to Gary at the Record Bee was to "suggest" to him what the right thing to do was, and that was get an article out that paints the real story of the battered shelter, and use's the real names of those responsible, which they did, and it is on the front page of the Bee this morning.
 

to the 2 posts above in suppport of Mitchell, it is getting quite funny to see you few supporters who are left posting for Mitchell, you must recognize how foolish you look in doing so. Please it is time for you to see reality. You cannot make that statement without a complete lack of credibility, you are free to post your comments but you must understand how foolish you look.
 

We do not want to loose track of the other important issue of the day and that is the Baxter endorsements, So far this appears to be a lot of smoke and mirrors, this is not what we wanted to see if Baxter was going to be a viable canidate for sheriff, he needs to come clean on this picture he has painted. This is a political campaign in front of a large group of citizens who are demanding transparency and honesty in this county something we have not had for many many years. Do Not we repeat Do Not blow smoke up our asses, we are of course open to a responce back from Baxter, as we are always open to plausible suggestions as to how his campaign came to placing all these endorsements on his web page. We are asking the citizens who have the time to try and contact any and all of those endorsements to check out their viability. This is the work the citizens do, and have to do in this current environment we are in.
 

It does appear that the time is well up for reporting on the Morshed incident, did you find what you wanted Mitchell or will you now make up something and hit Morshed on a bunch of IA's, till he leaves or you can make something up to get rid of him. This is exactly what the BOS should look at, this is the point of having the BOS looking at the money of the citizens, and this is exactly what they are not doing. Remember Perdock and Garzoli will never wear a uniform again, but Mitchell is dragging it out, and the BOS is letting them what a shame.
 

I have said that the real problem with the departments of Mitchell and Hopkins is the board of supervisors. Like the lying employees I reported for misconduct they chose the same action. Over look their oath and do nothing. The grand jury is run by the same bureaucrats that would protect each other. Dishonesty from one in to the other. Thanks to Lovelace. Vote for Officer Rivero.

I did not want to say anything about Baxter, because with his experience I think he would be a good candidate for Sheriff, BUT I feel I must inform all of you what I just found and it is disturbing;

I viewed Baxter's website (www.baxterforsheriff.com) and saw the impressive amount of supporters he has for sheriff. Well I found it to good to believe. One was the San Jose Peace Officer's Ass. I called the POA and asked if they were in fact supporting Baxter. It seems not only are they NOT, but they are not happy about what I gave them. Please don't believe me, feel free to read their email response:

I just called the California Robbery Investigators Association, John Minihan (secretary/treasurer). I informed him about Baxter's website stating his association is shown to support Baxter. He said it is the first time he heard of this. He would not confirm or deny until he talks to the board of directors.

I just got a response from the San Diego Police Officer's Association. I asked if they were in fact endorsing Baxter for Sheriff. Here is the President's response.

I encourage others to do what I have done. So far not ONE listed "Professional Organizations" listed on Baxter's website has confirmed they are in fact endorsing Baxter for Sheriff. It seems several don't even know him! What the heck is this about, another liar like Mitchell?
 

with the bos facing layoffs how do they sleep at night knowing that the sheriffs dept. has all those that have committed crimes on PAID ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE . Why hasn't mitchell been brought up on misapropriation of funds charges .
 

Baxter has the "Retired Los Angeles Police Officers Association" endorsing him for Sheriff, but I was unable to find any such association. I did find a "Retired Los Angeles Police Fire Association". They stated their association is not the one listed on Baxter's site.
 

I listened to the Baxter,McCarthy radio "debate?" again. Now I understand why Marty dropped out and Jack should. Every one that goes to Disney Land should go twice. The first time there is so much to see you don't really see anything. The second time you go you know how to get your monies worth. The first time I listened I was leaning toward Baxter, Now I don't see my monies worth in either of them.

L.A or San Jose is not Lake Co...

San Jose is a fine department. I did some work with them on an airport security mission. However this is Lake County. I feel, IMHO, we stand alone. Lake county needs to do what Lake county feels is best. (People should not seek validation elsewhere). He needs support of Lake county, the rest should be irrelevant. Retired LAPD assoc or the SJPD assoc. sounds all fancy, however has nothing to do with what the citizens and law enforcement professionals up here think of him. Baxter seems like a great guy, but he is not Lake county and IMHO we need someone who understands the social dynamics of LAKE COUNTY. The only way to do that is spend time here.

This is the Lovelace group, We have had people checking on the personnal endorsements and can't yet get a hold of a single person, we have been in some discussions this afternoon on the potential MO of this situation. Here is one of the theory's that has been bantered about. We of course at this time do not have all the ducks in a row, but it sure is quacking like one. Baxter was sent in as a "Trojan Horse" i.e. Mitchell is now more vuneralbe then ever before, he knows Baxter and sets Baxter up with a "knock em dead" resume, lots of endorsements which now appear to be phony and at the end of the election process what ever support he gains, he passes those votes on to Mitchell to try and steal the election. This situation is very edgy right now, we have not heard from Baxter and he watches the sight regularly, that is curious in and of itself. We are getting inside help and a number of leads have developed to support this theory, will keep you updated. It is hard to imagine that this amount of endorsements are by chance unaware of Mr. Baxter.???? What the heck is going on here then? We leave this up to the citizens to sniff out as well, post your ideas on this unusual situation.
 

Lets just say that you move to lake county in 2003. Lets just say you have 38 years in law enforcement. Lets just say being new to the area you don't know very many people. Lets say that with 38 years in LE you would like to meet people that you can relate to and have something in common with. Lets say that with 38 years in LE that you might have something in common with the local LE. Lets say that on your web page you have 43 out of county and 4 in county Endorsements . Lets say that some of the 43 are being found to be fraudulent. Lets say that of the 4 in county endorsements None are present or past Law Enforcement. Lets say if the citizens were to ask you if you ever met Mitchell and what you consider your relationship to be, How would you answer? I have been in the county 10 tears and have met 4 local LE. With their permission I would not be ashamed to list them for a personal recommendation
 

The system is geared to be self policing with over sight for those you would charge. That might have worked at one time and I believed it did. But with the Dinius case we have been shown the depth our government has sunk. The slope we are on is so steep I fear what is to come. So much dishonest and no one to look at it but the citizens.

You can ask Ms.Rushing to stop taking and not be a phony if she is going to use "Its a personnel matter" that would hide and cover up the dishonesty of the employees. Thank you.

This Is On Baxter's "LIST OF THINGS TO DO" "Review plans for civil disorder, terrorism and threats to both the community and public officials. Create contingency plans for major incidents and deployment of resources" SO if we try to protest will he call out the water cannons and tear gas? Or will it be rubber bullets and beanbags?
 

Lovelace you could contact either Anderson or Rhondes and ask them who would you complain to when a candidate lists false endorsements on his site? Then refer them to the site and lets see how fast the site is taken down?
 

I just came from Baxter's web site. Seems like Jack has nothing to say about Mitchel's ties to Hopkins and the BOS. Without those TIES and cooperation Mitchell would not have been able to get by with what he has in the past. Come on Jack I hope you are intelligent enough to see that all the problems are not coming from the SO alone. If you should become the Top Law Enforcer of lake county, What will you do to ensure that those departments aren't allowed to run a muck? Will it be Tear gas and Rubber Bullets for them too?
 

When I post anything about Mitchell (that is the truth and "they" know it) on the Record Bee topix page it is immediately deleted. What's up with that? Has Mitchell got the Record Bee in the back of his pocket and holding them hostage?

Jack Baxter lists Lou Riccardi twice as endorsement for his campaign. Lou is the private investigator for the Barbara LeForge murder. Lou said "Lake County is so small it's hard to seperate the facts from the rumors." (direct quote) Here is one more rumor for you Lou, The "Gemini Club" is a wife swapping sex club. It includes several sheriffs, lawyers, Judges, and at least one doctor who was a founding member. Barbara LeForge was going to expose the Gemini Club and she was killed. You figure out the rest. Like I said, only a rumor, but you would be shocked if you knew whose mouth it came out of.
 

Oh Yeah, and ask Garzoli why they kicked him out of the club? Bad things come in small packages.

Even if the out of county endorsements were not fraudulent, why would we want some transplant running the Sheriff's department? Why would out of county endorsements matter?; there OUT OF COUNTY. Sorry, just had to bring this up..

Hey the Record Bee reported that the Tweeker Bear from Upper Lake really was human after all. What do you think Rod, should we investigate this one? Maybe we should hire another private investigator. Maybe a few of those boys on admin leave could donate some money for the cause. Lovelace, they said you were full of it, but it looks like you were right, bears don't wear sketchers. Mr. Baxter, "Civil Disorder" Not only is Right, "Civil Disorder" Is a Duty. We don't need your brand of suppression in Lake County. PS We aren't afraid of horses either.
 

This is Lovelace, a couple of points, first, not only would fraudulent endorsements be a problem but done on purpose not just a mistake would be even a greater crime. That having been said we want everyone to understand where we are taking this to. We have received word this evening that our theory concerning a "Trojan Horse" set up we have been investigating is becomming more viable. We will keep this somewhat under wraps for the night, but there will be a meeting tomorrow where we hope to gather more information concerning this possible set-up, between Mitchell and Baxter, again we will not out right call this a fact just yet, several pieces of a puzzell are coming together and if they hold water we will have a real issue to discuss. If in fact Mitchell and Baxter set up a scam to put Baxter into the race only to have him drop out, then move that support Mitchells way, not only might we have an illegal action on Mitchells part, but a reminder to the citizens that we must always keep our guard up, the corruption runs rampant in this county, and no stone should be left unturned. We are pushing hard on this minimally we have very poor judgement on Baxters part and some very sharp citizens following up on this situation. We also would also like to look into the Kelseyville Pharmacy's apparent endorsement of Baxter. How does that happen so fast, what is the connection to Baxter, and what is the possible motivation of the Pharmacy? Lot's of questions however our biggest push right now is to get clarity on this endorsment situation.

Next someone posted something about meeting with Rushing and how they think it should be done, if we decide to carry out the meeting and have the right individual to meet her, as it will not be a significant member of the Lovelace group, to much to be done yet to expose ourselves, then we have a pretty good game plan as to what the approach will be. We will not be going there to tell her or the BOS to look into anything, we have a number of inside and outside people doing that, the BOS can do no greater then what we are doing, and as well we are looking into some investigations of the BOS themselves. Our meeting with Rushing will be to describe further our intentions and the direction we want the BOS and the totality of the county government to go in. Transparency and honesty is the critical point and the paridigms most of the county government is stuck in do not work for the citizens of this county. This is going to change and we are not going to stop till this change happens.
 

Please don't forget to ask her if Perdock and Garzoli are still on IA
and if so why aren't they at home from 8am to 4pm as required.

When I went through Wash. last summer I saw a bumper sticker that said Don't calif fornicate Wash. You can take Baxter out of San Jose, Can you take San Jose out of Baxter? If I wanted to live in the city I would move there.
 

We already informed the board of that concerning Perdock and Garzoli, and the different standards that are being forced upon Morshed. The board has yet to reply, that message was sent several days ago, it was indicated by one Supervisor they were looking at this at the next Tuesday meeting, we have zero confidence in that at this point. This is the issue we are talking about, it is an understanding of how things are documented and what and when information is given to the public. There should be a running accountability and timeline for each individual out on Admin leave, the time they went out and the incident in regards to this leave. There are certain situations personal and otherwise where specifics would not be given. But the what the BOS does not understand is this is the public money, we need weekly or bi weekly updates on the status of these Admin situations as in a normal information document that is maintained at these levels. The BOS most recently did not have a clue who was on Admin leave or why. This is how bad it got. That has to change.

My belief is Perdock is on medical leave known as 48/50 based on an On The Job related injury. I think I remember him stating something about stress. Anyone remember? If so, forget the Admin Leave because that would not apply. He can stay out and collect Worksman Comp as long as a doctor states he can't return. Than after he is well, the Admin Leave could be kicked in. This way, Mitchell can keep Perdock out of the public eye completely past not only the election in June but the run off (if there is one) in November and bring Perdock back in 2011. And it is all legal.

If Perdock is on Workman's Comp, by law Mitchell can not make a comment about it, so he covers his ass also.
 

I don't think there is anything between Baxter and Mitchell. Mitchell's narcissistic nature would not allow it. Baxter heard cops talk about how they were impressed over his experience, so he took advantage of that and made his endorsement look as impressive as his experience. I don't think he ever thought anyone would do a backgrounds check.

If a deputy did that, he would be terminated. Now he want's to be Sheriff.

The Removal Mitchell and Hopkins and the start of a movement towards transparency and control of the county and its operations by the citizens. I am in the process of completing a political web site andtrying to organize my campaign. I had prepared a list of individuals and organizations which I was going to contact to seek their endorsement. In my rush to submit information I and get it out I sent the wrong list and it was posted.
Yesterday I received a call telling me the organizational endorsements I listed on my web site were not valid. When I heard that I called the San Jose POA of which I've been a member for many years and asked Jeff Ricketts the CFO what had happened. I was told that law enforcement labor unions are a part of PORAC. As such they are not allowed to endorse political candidates from other areas if the local labor group endorsed someone else. In this case the Lake County DSA endorsed Sheriff Mitchell.
I've since removed the endorsement section and written letters of explanation and apology to each organization listed. The fault is mine and mine alone and I plan on re-posting the list of confirmed individuals who have offered their endorsement. I am including an explanation and apology for my mistake and I assume full responsibility for this matter. My error was made in ignorance of the PORAC rules governing labor endorsements. I realize this is not an excuse.
Although I must admit to being embarrassed by my own political naivete I appreciate the antonymous person who took the time to look into this and to bring it to my attention. I'm sure their motives were not to help me however their knowledge of PORAC rules did get me pointed in the right direction. I readily admit to being a novice in the political arena but I do learn quickly and I hope not to make such an unfortunate mistake again.
I'm sending this to the LOVELACE group and you may post it on the blog or disregard it if you feel it's not appropriate.
Keep up the good work, you are doing a service to the community by making us all aware that its alright to ask questions and to demand answers from our elected officials.

Ya we were wondering the same thing, we have a set of questions we are developing, a few things are not adding up, but as usual running with the benefit of the doubt. We will be checking in with an overview on Saturday.
 

Sergeant Baxter sent a Email that says he doesn't over see his own web site development? Then on his site he goes on &on about how he is going to oversee the Sheriff Dept. We have that now, Only Mitchell does it in PDF. "Novice in the political arena?" If indeed you sent the wrong list. For transparency show the list you intended to send. Not the newly made up list. now that we know there were two lists to begin with. Sorry you took offense to someone verifying your information. If that is what we have to look forward to when someone questions your actions your getting off on the wrong foot.

Baaxter sound like an arrogant prick that got his hand caught in the cookie jar. Unfortuneate indeed, he just lost my vote and my confidence. Go back to the academy and take the course on ethics again. Maybe next time you will pay attention to the part about not lying.
 

It sounds like Jack Baxter is starting off like Mitchell did. Misleading the voters. A vote for Baxter is a vote for corruption. I wonder if Baxter wins will Mitchell be his undersheriff.
 

Well I was looking into Baxter's experience and I found Gavilan Community College (1968-1971)
But, checking San Jose State, he was not listed in any faculty search done. So a call will be made to vertify that.

My offering for today is this. I giver my true name to show my outrage at this government in Lake county. The many bureaucrats that take a oath then run by "its a personnel matter" and then keep taking the oath.I could understand taking a pledge to "its a personnel matter",that would be honest but the oath,Their hypocrites. I did not expect them to die to meet their requirement. I did not expect them to lie with the liars. I name them again. Farrington, Brown, lewis, Robey and Smith. Those are the ones that all this dishonesty sets on. There were others for sure we have allot of bureaucrats but as the saying goes the buck stops at their door. The board of supervisors oversees to the total government in Lake county not just a department of that government.The dishonesty is built into the system thus the ends justifies their means.Mitchell,Hopkins is cut from the same cloth.The good person that comes to office,learns to tolerate the corruption or understand its beyond them and moves on. I have spent nine years trying to inform this county just how bad it is. This has been for no other reason but for them being dishonest and theu pissed me off. I thank Lovelace and all that are helping to inform the citizen.

I sure hope you do not back those people that have been "bashing" SAR. The men and women of SAR are heros to many. I am not a SAR member, but I know they are hurt by comments posted here. Please help support the"good guys" and delete the SAR bashing posts.

Just look at what Cal Water did to Lucerne after they came here from San Jose with their know it all big city ideas. I don't think we need Baxter, another Big city representative from San Jose telling us that they know what we need in Lake County. If we wanted to be like San Jose we would change our name.

Mr. Baxter.... retired for seven years and at home boared. So now something to do for all the wrongs reasons. Rivero busy and running for all the right reasons. Baxter waited until Rivero paved the way. WOW, and the very first thing Baxter attempts to do, he fails at. Simlpy placing endorsements on his web page. Is this who you want running this department? He might look ok on paper, but thats as far as it goes.

Here is an interesting twist to the couple of corruption supporters we think there are two or three, who post on here generally with no substance or to whine. None the less can you imagine if Rivero had made the endorsement mistake? Oh my God these punks would be out for blood, it would be a non-stop attempt attack, but alas Baxter makes a grave error and he posts admitting to it, and it is oh its ok, gee golly maybe it is even good. This show's the phony and small minded ways of these few people. Funny actually. And lets add that it is a bit hard to hear a man complain that he is not politically savy and is a rookie in this arena, and it is all new to him. Please, he was in San Jose and Law Enforcement for a lot of years, in business as well as LE organizations you are dealing with political issues weekly. You are dealing with the BOS's of different counties and agencies all the time. You play the games in all those years, and it is a little hard to stomach the poor me I just don't know this stuff. Let's cut with the cry me a river Baxter, your a big boy, you have been around the block and back a few times, we don't really want to see the tear-drops of poor me I just don't know this stuff anymore. If that were the case, then Rivero, and many others who have never run for office of any kind could lay the same claim and we don't hear that coming out of their mouths.

How do all those out of county endorsements for Baxter know what is best for our county? I would like to see how involved he has been in the community since he has been here. The company he keeps will say a lot. Most importantly, Would Baxter throw his support behind Rivero if need be to oust Mitchell?
 

Excellent questions post 3:46, if Baxter stays in the race of the long haul, then those are very good questions and the type of questions he will be asked as time goes on. There is no way as Baxter campaigns that we can stand for any nonsense from him concerning Mitchell, if does not get himself educated on the trials and tribulations of Mitchells and speaks to those many issues he is not a solid canidate for the sheriff position, Mr. Nice guy will not work in this venue.

Rivero is the only real agent of change in Lake County. I just spoke to him today in Lucerne. He's smart, well spoken, and convincing. I am 77 years old and not easily snowed. He sold me and the people with me.

Last Tuesday when you were in Angelina's getting coffee, you made a big deal about someone educating you about how to order a "sangwich". I met Jack Baxter at a meeting that Frank Rivero was speaking at. My first impression was his posture and high and mighty attitude. The first thing that came to mind is that this man is "Rodney Sr". The differance is that he has no idea whats going on in this department, oh, wait, thats "Rodney Jrs" stick..but Jack hasn't worked here with the SO, and will run it exactly like "Rodney Jr.", and possibly worse. If there can be a worse in this situation. We need a man whose not a ego driven putz. I was not impressed..I will be voting for Rivero.

Anderson stated that he would not charge Perdock. He would just refer the case to the A.G. office.
 

I believe it is too late to charge perdock for anything in the boating accident. Isn't it? I thought the DA waited until the "last minute" to charge dinius, so when the public uproar came he could say his hands were tied. Too late.
 

Russell Perdock committed perjury as well as kill Lynn Thorton. Why is he not charged with anything? Sure looks like he was covered for so charges would not be filed against him. None of the answers from the Sheriff and DA seem to hold water. The jury saw through the prosecution and spoke for the thousands following the Dinius case by a quick return of aquittal.
 

Mitchell does not want any accountability for anything that has happened under his watch. From the black tie ball to the Search and Rescue money. It's the BOS job to control our tax dollars. Mitchell has that check book and nobody is going to see it.
 

Mitchell only keeps an eye on what he feels is in his own best interest, politically as well as personally. He makes sure all his irradication offices spend ALL the grant money themselfs on overtime and equipment and chopper lessions, nobody but the "good ole' boys" benefit from this money, and belive me they know exactly how much they will reap in the benefit of this money before irradication even starts. I imagine SAR is full of the GOB's also..So don't give me this crap about Rodney and his purse strings..We all know how and who he divies this GRANT money to. If he is trying to show fiscal responsiblity now...It's to little to late.
 

748 DEA Grant monies were used for providing helicopter flying lessons, some would call that misuse or abuse of grant funds.
The SAR money was provided as gift, a large sum of money to the Search and Rescue organization "to be used for search and rescue" and it has been held and controlled only by Mitchell.

Anderson was asked about the Dinius Case and said he would prosecute anyone that perjures themselves. He said, he could not prosecute Perdock because it would be a conflict of interest--but said, he would ask that the Attorney General's Office do it. He also said, Jon Hopkins and his office had no business prosecuting the Dinius Case, it should have been handled by the AG because of the conflict interest Perdock etc.,
So Anderson would send it to the Attorney General's Office and have them do it.
Another thing he said was that the DA office has evidence that wasn't being turned over in a timely matter for some reason and holding on to it then producing it right before the trial starts. He would stop that from happening because it only postpones the case and is a waste of court time.
He wanted to protect the elderly and children and wants to make that a priorty which we don't have now.
Some cases he wants to have an input on and hear from law enforcement, listen to the defense attorney/listen to the people and the direction of the public (for instance the Dinius Case)and use of common sense.
He said he will be at the Lakeport Yacht Club soon.

So yes, he would send Perdock's perjury to the AG for prosecution.

First of all the Anderson Radio show, sending the prosecution to the AG was an option that should have been used, that of course would have exposed far to much of the Mitchell/Hopkins corruption, so we know what that was not done. Anderson gave the right answer, he said he would not have prosecuted Perdock himself from the inside which would have created far to much conflict of interest. Both Mitchell and Hopkins know what should have been done, and it was not, we know the reasons why, there is no question about that.

You concern yourself with your image instead of stepping into the fight. Oh you voiced your opinion on the Cristallego situation, but relying on the Sierra Club's Victoria Brandon and a small force of environmentalist to do the job was not going to work from the get go. You should understand a few things, we have significant cases before various state agencies right now, no one knows the agencies, nor can we revel it, while we hammer away on the outside and soften up the battle field we are conducting other significant work from other directions, most of us are spending upwards of 25 hours a week writing drafts and using the "system's" resources to combat this corruption. We are getting assistance from across the state, from watch dog groups and many others, this along will all of us working "normal" jobs we can guarantee you we are putting more hours in a week then you are even close to, doing your BOS job and going to various functions. This is our dedication to activism. We have broken the last two major stories in the county the Rusty Wright incident and the Morshed incident, we just broke the endorsement issue with Baxter, and our group is in direct communication with each of the canidates running for DA and Sheriff. This is activism, this is hard work, and this is what we do. We are skilled and dedicated to this cause in this county. Right now our website is receiving 300 hits a day and at times 100 to 150 comments from the citizens. We started many months ago with nothing, That you can call success and activism with a capital A.

Last but not least is Mitchell, you and the BOS were wrong in not coming out aganist Mitchell, you decided you were going to leave it up to the vote, and all of you forgot the strangle hold Mitchell has had on the voters and the level of corruption that created his votes, we Denise could not let that happen again not in this election, it is only fair to let the voters cause the change when the game isn't rigged. Therefore we had to go on the attack and bring the battle to Mitchell and Hopkins, penetrate their defenses, and create divide and conquer internal conflicts. Has anyone ever seen such a vicious attack from the public concerning the meaningless DSA endorsement, never before in the comments section of the local rags has the DSA been hit so hard, that wasn't an accident Denise, that was planned and carried out, and again there is much much more to come. Denise there are some very very bad things going on in this county and have been, it is right under your noses and all of you think you are to smart, to be able to see it.

Anthony Farrington is to concerned about becoming a lawyer, and moving on to Sacramento politics, Anita Grant was brought in by Denise as a favor. Rob Brown is a lame duck Supervisor, Rushing is concerned about image (her's), Comstock has no opinion worth listening to, and Jeff Smith languishes in obscurity as usual, and you wonder why we have problems in the county. Time for change, time to vote, vote, vote..We will continue to inform the public of what their local government is up to the fight will go on till the job is done. On top of that we have a local media who won't even post a story with the basic facts on Morshed, why is that we wonder, there is well enough information available to post a basic initial overview but we get nothing. The citizens are up aganist a useless system and as far as priorities go we are at the bottom of the list.
 

10:18 you should realize our letters and drafts with documentation are written in a different format then what we may post on the public thread, indeed our cause has been taken up, it is nearly impossible not to act on some of these situations. As we posted, we have watch dog groups helping us, and have been in communication with and had investigations accepted from various institutions in our state. Those organizations demand silence and so we accept those conditions. You should as well remember that when you are in this type of a battle you must ask for 300 percent of what you want as you will end up then with 100% of what you need. It is an old trick of the activist trade, we know the collusion and slow progress of getting things done in this state and in the local systems, so we understand the methods necessary to effect real change.
 

Please reemember this is not a Whine at Lovelace forum, we post content, and factual representations of the conditions in this county. The game cannot be played on their level, that has already proven to be ineffective. You can comment all you want on the facts and presentations, but at the same time no need to simply post to whine about Lovelace or our techniques. Our Record of accomplishment speaks for itself. Remember the BOS has told their story over and over, it is "There is nothing we can do", so we don't approach this change assuming we need the BOS for a thing, that would be an error, as they must be focused on what the citizens tell them to be focused on, and any connections to money and the corruption is where their energies must be, the citizens job is to call them on every single point of contention, until they learn who is in charge of the county, and that transparency is the demand.
 

So I see the corruption supporters never weighed in on how they would have smelled blood in the water if it had been Rivero who posted the ill-advised endorsements, but with Baxter they did not say a word, therefore you can see they are not here for the citizens, only for their little as to grind, because they don't want their apple cart upset by necessary change.

There was a comment above on the departure of Garzoli and Perdock, Lovelace has already layed that out over and over. They said, you will never see Perdock or Garzoli in a uniform again. They are right and that is a fact. For all intents and purposes they are terminated, the last attempt by Perdock and his lawyer was to ask that the gets to keep his job and take a demotion. Hmmmmm does not make much sense given the new business he has started. They also reported Mitchell and it appears with the good graces of the BOS is dragging this out as far as possible to increase his boys take at the end of it all, so their retirement monies will be greater and so he can continue to pay them on the taxpayers dime as long as possible, and still the BOS sits on their hands and does nothing, This is where they (the bos) does not understand the meaning of transparency, this is out and in front of the public eye it is all exposed, and they the know it is a question the public is asking, yet they do not even understand enough to keep the public updated as to status and situation. This is the BOS thinking to themselves oh those dumb citizens they don't need to know, this is over their heads, this is something we cannot put out right now. On and on it goes and these guys do not get it. In due time they will.

It is amazing how much world wide attention the Dinius situation is getting, stunning to think by the rotten leadership of Mitchell and Hopkins Lake County has gotten such a bad name. You would think those involved in trying to attract tourist to this county would be on an all out attack on Mitchell and Hopkins, as they are destroying this county piece by piece.

That statement was from the helo forum on the internet, This was posted on our site several times, the reference to this was Garzoli, indicating he had been trained in forensic computer work, and that he is tired of looking at child porn in the process of doing this, and therefore wants to do the whole illegal helo thing, and during the course of the conversation intimated wanting to use public monies for his own personal training. The helo forum has taken down the postings, as a normal course of purging their system of old posts but we got copies of it prior to that happening, the postings are up on this site, but it is quite a few pages back in the archives. If you need any further on this please post.
 

That is an idiot post, 1:09 that is why we like you to post facts because they get them all wrong. The AG declined to take the Dinius situation after the trial, which was put to the AG by the BOS, when they were catching heat from the citizens, Hopkins never ever requested the AG take this case.

Where are you getting that the post did not indicate it was the DA look above that is exactly what it says, and where are you getting the reference to Duke univer. Here is the post you are referencing, you sure you are talking about the same thing? Is this what happens when we ask the corruption supporters to post facts?

There was no conflict because Hopkins wasn't prosecuting Perdock. If you have to go through Florida to get to North Carolina, The end result is the same. Nifong and Hopkins are birds of a feather.

The AG would take the case now. At this point there are now numerous conflicts of interest. Don't for a second think that Rhoades would handle it any differently from Anderson. Neither would be able to prosecute anyone related to the Dinius case. If they did, it would cost a fortune when it had to be moved out of county. No way could it get tried here. A question. I understand due process but other than waiting for election results, is anything ever going to happen to anyone for anything they are presumed to have done/not done? If this is going to just be a sounding board, and I'm not saying that's a bad idea, could it possibly be broken into topics/threads? It's really hard to read and some of the posts are really off topic. Now, if there were topics, it might bring some other info out on other issues. Let's face it, as much as I love this community it's full of a lot of GOB's and questionable ethics from the BOS to the Sheriff's to the DA's to Lakeport City Council.

Post 1:22 continues to make no sense we will leave it up for what we don't know but what the heck. As far as the AG taking the case of Dinius at this point and it going to a civil federal case, they would not touch it. They would feel like justice is going to be served at this point, and we think would leave it lie. Plus good old Jerry has announced he is running for the Governators job so his head is in the clouds right now anyway, we think Dinius is going to do a fine job hammering Mitchell, Hopkins and everyone else on their own. In Respect to changing the current format of the Blog, we are going to leave it as it is for now, there are expansion plans in place and a full website already done, however we must continue to use our anonymous system through Google for the time being, but in the future we will expand. But we do understand what you are saying. You are also correct on the Rhodes/Anderson approach if it was done that way in the beginning, of course we know why Mitchell and Hopkins did not, and then opening the door to the Dinius which is going to cost a bundle.
 

Post 1:41 we need more clarity on the post, are these actual endorsements you are talking about, are these friends and neighbors, do you have an actual link to something as in a webpage, its a little confusing.
 

I disagree. Dinius offered during the Preliminary Hearing to plea to misdemeanor DUI on a boat. The evidence in that is fact was the BAS Dinius had. But instead, Hopkins wanted a felony that related to a death and Dinius was not about to plea to that.

I believe both Rhoades and Anderson would have taken the plea offering, got a guilty conviction on Dinius and closed it at that. Could you have imaged the cost savings that would have been had? Perdock was already hammered in civil court.

That's a good point 1:56, but it does still leave out the whole of Perdocks drinking etc etc. none the less we agree that could have been an approach, all water under the bridge now eh.

Sorry but you are wrong. I was the one that called most of the agencies Baxter listed for support. In most cases, including San Diego POA, they did not even know who Baxter was. I never did find a clear endorsement for Baxter.

159, that came out after the Preliminary Hearing and before trial. Since both Rhoades and Anderson worked for or with Mitchell in the past, it would have most likely gone to the AG. The Dinius case would have been closed with a guilty conviction, but for misdemeanor DUI.

I just checked Baxter's site. Here is what it states about SJPD POA.

I (Baxter) "immediately asked Jeff Ricketts the CFO of the SJPOA and asked what had happened. I was told that law enforcement labor unions are a part of PORAC and, as such, they are not allowed to endorse political candidates from other areas if the local labor group endorsed someone else. In this case, the Lake County DSA endorsed Sheriff Rod Mitchell."

The only endorsements were four local families. They are Mr. & Mrs. Tom Stewart, Kelseyville Pharmacy, Mr. & Mrs. Lou Riccardi, Rafter LC Cattle Co. Upperlake, CA, J. Cody Jones, Rafter LC Cattle Co.

Here are some facts...

The Dinius Defense went in front of a Napa Superior Court judge to get the DA removed from the case. Result, Motion DENIED. Now, I guess some less stable people could argue that along with all the other agencies involved in this "Cover-up" the particular judge from Napa County was too. But if they can get to a judge, why couldn't they get to the boat patrol? Dang, you conspiracy nuts are just outta luck.

No one from this website "broke" anything with respect to Wright or Morshed. In fact it looks kinda like Morshed was the guy leaking the Wright info, so unless you're claiming some connection to Moreshed, that claim is bogus. Are you claiming some connection to Morshed?

Oh and the reason you can't get the local media to report on Morshed is because the local media has standards on reported. As low as those standards are, they are higher than the rumors posted on this blog. Even if true, they are unsubstantiated by any verifiable fact. And that is a fact.

No whining, just the facts. You can delete it any time you want....But I save everything!!!
 

Oh and as for your comments about the "local rags" being hit hard on the DSA endorsement story, you should actually go look at the ratings on the posts over at the Lakeconews. I think most if not all of your "hard hitting" got voted so low that is is now not visible unless you click on it. Here's a quote for you.... "low rated comment, click to view". Seems the person(s) hit the hardest are those who support your positions. LOL! Oh, that's a fact too.
