An investigation doesn't mean there's any merit to the complaint either. I'm sure we'll get the results once the complainant is notified, regardless of their findings.....right? LOL

Which is now say it with me, the removal of Mitchell and Hopkins from office, and opening up the corruption for the county to see, from top to bottom. It does not matter to us if you like the idea or not. You are sitting on your ass posting we and those that are assisting us on the inside of the SO and the good citizens throughout the county are doing the hard work, and you with your small insignificant agenda will not prevail. You mean the criminals leaking protected information, damaging the integrity of investigations and endangering citizens? Now they're are corrupt...Violating not only policy, but law as well. But that's OK with you? To you they are doing hard work? Situational ethics is a slippery slope.
 

Now let's talk about the exact details of the current status of Judge Martin. If you had been reading the blog you would have seen this posted. We were in contact with the commission at the beginning of the week, we received confirmation that an attorney with the commission has been assigned to the case, and that the request for investigation on a number of issues we identified in our original report has been determined to have sufficent merit to warrant assignment and investigation. These issues range from illegal civil rights violations in disability sentencing, as well as concerns of neoptism, and other issues we detailed to the commission. We indicated several means of contact that were available to the commission, and we are prepared with lawyers and clients damaged by the judges decsions and actions. That is where it stands in exacting detail. The lovelace group is the direct contact to the commission and we will update everyone when the process is complete.
 

That is correct 11:54 all those good people trying to help the good cops trapped in the organization and corrupt leadership in Mitchells regime. For people like you the status quo would remain and the pain would continue. Good cops take care of the integrity of their force, they do not deminish and destroy the trust with the public they serve by remaining quiet to the wrongs of the system. and friend, as a bit more time goes by there will be more. You would be wise to use caution in professing your alliance to the Mitchell Hopkins regime, your credibility will be terribly damaged. Hey your choice.
 

That's not actually "exacting detail". Exacting detal would be posting a copy of the complaint. Since all complaints are investigated, clearly there has been no determination of merit for or against your complaint. My guess is no one will ever hear the results of this complaint because it will be shown to have been without merit.
 

1200 I couldn't agree more. Good cops protect everyone and don't violate laws or deviate from policy without reason. Integrity isn't found in cops who sneak reports of active investigations into the public domain for personal or political gain.
 

The Lovelace group has not gone on the record for any individual running for office excpt to make these points, Denise Rushing is a shill and scam artist, she will be the default winner as the only other choice is Gary Lewis, and that as well is not acceptable. A no vote in the Rushing election is the message that needs to be sent.We are the organization that has said over and over the players and events of the elections will be dyanmic and always changing. We were the ones telling you corruption supporters to stand back relax, the scene will change over and over and that others will be entering the race. you did not we did, we knew what was coming, you did not. This is Lovelace, we have confirmed yesterday that indeed as an earlier post indicated Mitchell has been checking on his retirement status as of June, now the tide is turning as now even Mitchell is questioning his ability to keep the strangle hold on the citizens. We love it when a plan comes together.
 

We noticed yesterday when we pounded Phil Murphy and Denise Rushing on the Record Bee site, the article and comments were taken down and removed. We let Philly know when he was trying to praise Rushing, that she had called him an asshole a few months ago, he was getting the wool pulled over his rose colored glasses, now it appears we have collusion on the record bee's part what happened did Phil or Denise put a call in to have the article removed? Hmmmmmmm
 

Looks like the kids or kid will be back playing again today, so just by pass the funny man's post as the day goes on, if the children go into posting mode, we will go to moderation. Will play it by ear. We don't think this one likes the truth it appears to scare him. So he is in the sandbox throwing sand, I wonder if they realize how small they appear when they do this, and how it hurts their cause of supportiing Mitchell?

Why wasn't Holland arrested or charged for being in possession of unregistered assault weapons?
 

The whole problem with LCSO is that they've treated decent people like scumbags too. That is where LCSO messed up and lost the public's faith. If they can't tell the difference between decent people and scumbags then they are "burned out" and they need to find a different job.
 

Probably because he admitted to having them and voluntarily gave them up. And he didn't lie about it.
 

I can understand the common citizen not being aware of the law, But a range master? Would Holland have given them up if he didn't know about the investigation of Wright? It is funny it all came together at the same tine.
 

You range master questions should be addressed to Sgt. McPherson. He has been in charge of the range for over 10 years. How McPherson could have overlooked this is a surprise to me.

I doubt McPherson would reply here. It appears Bingham did the investigation.If anyone in LE was aware Holland also had illegal weapons, Why would they overlook that? After all Mitchells words were,“The rules apply to everybody,” Mitchell said. Deputy Lucas Bingham, a sheriff's detective, told Capt. Cecil Brown, who was leading the investigation, that he believed Wright owned several assault weapons./
 

McPherson has done two tours in the sandbox, one in each theatre. Rusty Wright was in country at about the same time. Mike Pascoe was the rangemaster in his absents. Rangemasters don't get calls asking how a piece of 4'x4'x1" steel plate came to be on the Konocti Rod and Gun Clubs range with holes shot clear through it, and not know who has a gun with that kind of potential. Everybody knew about the .50 Barrett the deputies were playing with. That includes the head monkey, driving the desk, as well.
 

We still have the issue which has been reported on this site, concerning the missing 13 flak jackets, which turned up missing on McPhersons watch.

Another note, we are hearing from the inside that, something is stirring right now, got this from a SO, and we thinks one is the termination of Perdock and other issues with Garzoli concerning a conflict of interest issue in regards to bailbonds and activities surrounding that. Very interesting We are looking into it, now with a few people, don't have any time lines but something is in the wind. Hmmmmm Anyone with infor please post.

Sergeant McPherson is in charge of the Range. Yes he was gone on active duty for a while and so was Rusty at the same time. To me this brings up even a stronger question as to why a Sergeant who has been running the range for over 12 years could not know what Rusty was doing. The range masters answer to McPherson. So once again we have a supervisor not properly supervising his man. Mitchell picked another good one again.

As you may know Mitchell was scheduled to attended Rushings Town Hall meeting coming up, word is now out Mitchell has backed out and said he is not going to the meeting, looks like the heat we put on Rushing and Mitchell cause a bit of a stir, so Mitchell has elected to back out.

McPherson can't supervise even a simple correctional officer.
Mitchell can't review a simple grant.
Mitchell retaliates against deputies.

The steel plate was abandon on the Konocti Rod and Gun Club rifle range, and confiscated by their president. He had it hung at the 200 yard berm for members to shoot at. None of them have shot any holes in it so far. I guess they don't own any .50 caliber stuff. Nobody asked for it back. They must be ashamed to ask for it. Maybe they are afraid they might compromise the joint agreement between the gun club, and the Sheriff's office. Oh, thats right the Sheriff has stalled that agreement for at least a couple years.
 

To 5:12 the citizens hope he still works for the sheriffs office. Those folks have been the greatest contributors to uncovering the corruption in the department, and thanks to them for being so honest and ethical.
 

McCarty, Grace Church in Kelseyville. The one started by Andy Davidson's mother. I'm not liken that. She didn't do a very good job of raising her son.

Reading this blog gave me the impression that there has been corruption within LCSO has been going on for many years. At least as long as Mitchell has been in office. A recent post from Lovelace has me confused as to when the corruption started. Lovelace stated, “Good cops take care of the integrity of their force, they do not deminish and destroy the trust with the public they serve by remaining quiet to the wrongs of the system.” Are “recent hires” the only ones speaking up about “the wrongs of the system”? Or are there “veteran LCSO” that were considered “bad cops” when they “remained quite” that have now turned “good cop” by speaking out? Wasn’t that Rivero for Sheriff guy with the SO for a long time? He “remained quiet” all those years, only speaking out after leaving the department. So by Lovelace standards, he was not a “good cop”. Bad, bad, bad Rivero for Sheriff!

More to come on the "Grace church" connection to many bad cops and bad people. Lovelace is looking into a host of issues connected to a "group" of people and activities associated with oh shall we say a strange and odd set of conditions that at times is almost impossible to believe, that is a ways out however, but any postings or information along these lines is always helpful. February 12, 2010 6:28 PM You might consider that when the trust is established there are other ways to communicate. In your case you will always be on the out side looking in. Kinda like being on the need to know bases. We know it is lonely for you to be where you are. But it is your choice to be there.
 

I have been in Lake County for almost 40 years and back "in the good old days" there were only a few officers on duty at a time and Lake county is geographically a pretty large place.

It was "wild west" law/justice and it was understood that you really had to fend for yourself. There was about a 45 minute response time.

Back in "those days" there were some good cops and bad cops, but it seemed to me that it wasn't any where near the level of what is going on today which is sanctioned corruption. I appears to be the rule, not the exception.

There was not near the population prior to the 70's and people literally left their doors open and their cars unlocked.

Then in the late 70's and mid 80's things heated up. The corruption that was basically "bad cops" sleeping around and harassing "druggies" became cops harrassing anyone they cared to harass. The "disease" of the corruption started and then snowballed.

The "newbies" to the force in the mid 70's were groomed by the then corrupt and they stayed by themselves. Their little groups were covert and elite. Then as time went by and the county gained a reputation for being a dumping ground for criminals and a drug infested country everything went down hill in a big way. The county was being inundated by hardened criminals that no other county would allow.

Busting druggies became a business and the business was encroached by law enforcement who could only bust "certain" people.

Tourism was taken over by terrorism and the LCSO, some of which I knew were also "dealing" and encouraging the drug wars for profit.

The benign small time drug offenders became a work force for the officers who would play the game. Then other's joined, like doctors and construction people and anyone who wanted a cheap labor force.

This became the "good old boys" in business with the mafia type template.
A few crooked judges and lawyers and a business was born. Injustice in the justice system.

It is less important of how it started and how it grew than the fact that it has to be stopped and this format on the internet "watch" is well on it's way to doing that.

There is a lot more to report and it will be done and then the true picture of the corruption will be known.

It is a disease (the corruption) that is chronic and the citizens once aware of it will be on alert to be involved as individuals. It will be an on going process and although we all like our privacy on these matters a transparent government is essential.

Thank you Lovelace for being civic minded. It gives us honest and law abiding taxpayers hope for a better future. You have been a God send.

To the poster regarding the Council on Judicial Performance: The CJP will indeed investigate the complaint, and if it looks like the judge has violated any of the judicial canons, they will decide how he/she should be punished - i.e., private admonishment, public admonishment, removal from bench, etc. If they decide to investigate, the results are posted on their website. There is another complaint about a different judge that is going to be sent to the CJP very shortly. I will keep you posted on that one as well.
 

Transparent is just that Mitchell, transparent. All you had to do is your JOB on the Dinius case. Rodney, remember about 25 years ago when you were in Sacramento? Sheriff Robby Waters was involved in a DUI accident. No manager or sergeant came to the scene to see what was going on. Only two deputies were on scene and left without even getting out of their cars.

That is what you should have done. If it was so important that you believed a manager had to be on scene, you should have sent a captain. If you had to respond, you should have interacted with the sergeant's on scene and NOT the primary subject of a deadly accident.

Here is another example. When Bean was involved in a shooting, you met with him at the substation. You did not respond to the scene.

I am deeply concerned over our nation and what our government has become. Abraham Lincoln said" a house divided against itself cannot stand." We are at that crossroad as many before us, we are to choose to allow this abomination to exist, be subservient to that power. History tells me our course and I truly hope you choose wisely. As Hamlet I to would like to cast off this mortal coil of dishonesty that is among us but fear we are for some troubled times. This government not only condoned and sanctioned the Dinius case but make excuses for their actions. Thus allowing themselves by law to lie,cover up and protect and never getting at the truth. Then the arrogance to ask for our vote.For me that just about says it all.
 

Sheriff Mitchell is just like former Sacramento's Co. Sheriff Robby Waters. They couldn't manage anything right. They let us the tax payer, pay for there mistakes. While telling everyone they done a wonderful job. If Mitchell backs out of Rushing town hall meeting is goes to show his failed leadership and his lack of respect for us the voter and tax payers.

Yes exactly Post 6:54, have your questions ready on the call in, one crtitical one to ask is how he feels about being named the sole reason for going after Dinius not perdock, now of couse you are going to get the standard there is a case pending so I can't say a thing answer, so you should have questions other then Dinius to ask about, as it would not surprise us to even hear them announce that there can be no questions about the Dinius case asked, so that would be the attempt to temper down the tough questions. Everyone during the day today please post questions, you think should be asked, and lets get on the phones and rough this guy up a bit, just like the Mitchell debate when we hammered him non-stop....

Article in the record bee this morning on Marty, you all may want to bounce over there and get your thoughts in on the comments section...We will say he increased his language on the negative side concerning Mitchell, not such a soft touch in that area, which is more honest. Most of the other information is the same.
 

Hey people, don't forget to ask Johnny boy why he keeps deputy DA's on staff that can count their courtroom victories on the paw of a three toed sloth. Remember poorly prepared cases, that go to trial, are just like a giant leak in the tax payers pocket. They waste out money, and they waste our time. Not to mention the fact that, poor courtroom performance reflects on the perceived intelligence of all of us in Lake County. We have some good people in the D.A.'s office, but we also have some that should be reassigned, as janitors, and cleaning ladies.
 

Another issue of course is the internal personnel problems wihin, many of those good people mentioned above, have posted concerning the bad invironment in the DA's office, not associated with the people but with their dislike of Hopkins and they want change. Again very difficult for them to speak up, so let's do it for them.
 

Yes, keep us updated on the CJP situation, do you know who the judge is in this instance, or can you not say right now?
 

Lovelace suspects that the shake-up next week will be one or two of Mitchells "former" buddies being thrown out the door, this has to do with admin leave, and now that the elections have fired up, would not be to surprising to see him nail a couple of his own, claim the timing has nothing to do with the election, and throw them under the old bus. Bet money if it was not an election, he would not be moving to quick with the same action, we will see.
 

Lovelace, I understand the hostile atmosphere argument, but am inclined to believe that a good attorney, is a good attorney, no matter what the department atmosphere. It is just a matter of personal pride. What else does an attorney have after all? An attorney that arrives in court unprepared, is either lazy, or educated well beyond their mental capacity. Or both.
 

In Lake County News today it has an article about Animal Control Officer Terri Flynn abusing her horses, is this the same Terri Flynn who worked for Mitchell in the jail,then in dispatch then in the jail again? Well, I guess after working at LCSO she learned that if you work on the inside and worm into the family of the boss, why you can get away with just about anything even starving your horses and hitting them in the nuts

Whoa, jezzzzz Lovelace's bad it is the 20th. Well none the less all the same applies for the 20th. By the way thought we might re-post this article from Lake Co before the Dinius trial, boy I bet Hopkins wishes he would have taken that recusal now!!! Of course Mitchell would not have let him, he did not want his boy getting hammered by a DA from out of the area that is for sure. So Hopkins does not recusal himself, and now Mitchell throws him under the bus. Hold your friends closer and your enemies closer eh Jon.




Presenting the case for recusal
Haltom argued that a conflict in the case existed for Hopkins' office because of its necessarily close working relationship with Sheriff Rod Mitchell's office. “Chief Deputy Perdock is the No. 2 man in the sheriff's department,” Haltom added.
He contended that the relationship and an attempt to cover for Perdock already had resulted in an unfair charging decision against Dinius.
Meanwhile, Perdock was not charged for driving faster than conditions warranted, Haltom argued. “Any rational observer would think this guy is the prime suspect in this case.”
Haltom argued that most of the case investigation had been undertaken by Hopkins' and Mitchell's offices, with some assistance from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.
He claimed that if Hopkins charged Perdock with the same offenses Dinius is facing, he “would risk jeopardizing a necessary good working relationship with the sheriff's department.”

Haltom referenced a document he included in his motion in which he said that Perdock said all the sheriff's investigators working the investigation were “beholden” to him. “That's an aspect of the conflict here,” Haltom said.

Based on those relationships, Haltom accused the sheriff's office of burying evidence favorable to Dinius and unfavorable to Perdock. He cited a conversation that he said took place between Deputy Lloyd Wells and Doug Jones, who claimed he saw the sailboat under way with its lights. Haltom said Wells told Jones, “You must be wrong.”

Hopkins has stated publicly that there are no witnesses who have claimed to see the sailboat's lights, but Haltom argued that there are nine people – out of a total of 16 witnesses – who claim to have seen lights. He accused Hopkins is pursuing the case with “tunnel vision.”

In addition, Haltom claimed that one witness, Hans Peter Elmer, a retired law enforcement officer, made three 911 calls after the accident occurred but no sheriff's investigator contacted him for a statement.
 

How about Bealnd fired after the preliminary to tamper his testimony on the trail. Why did not Hopkins go after Brown for trying to change Bealnd's testimony? And what exactly did he do in his testimony that got him fired?

Legally this is recognized as "custom and policy" which is mentioned in my lawsuit now in appeals court. Im sorry this happened to Dinius; but it has uncovered this illegal custom and policy of the LCSO; and will release the horrible bondage upon the citizens of this county forever more; although Mitchell is still ruining lives as we speak. Has he no conscience? I have often wondered that question as I witness his recklessness daily.....Reckless jerk needs to go.
 

Terri Flynn, Yep, she worked at the jail. She's the one who would tweak every once in a while on duty. It's easy to tell when you haven't had any in a while. She would chew her pencil up into splinters.

Dave Garzoli has told his neighbors that he will be unemployed next week. If you get fired for stealing do you still get to draw unemployment? Let's hope not!

Yesterday SO Brian Martin shot his neighbor's dog. It seems Brian's cat got in the neighbor's yard and when the chocolate lab chased the cat it broke thru the fence and ended up in Brian's yard.
Brian shot the dog with his pellet gun. Then Brian chewed out the neighbor. The neighbor gave Brian a little bit of his own what-for. After a few phone calls, and a $300.00 vet bill, Brian came over and apoligized and wrote a check for the vet bill. The neighbor was told if he pressed charges he could be sited for violating the leach law. That sounds real fair. Way to go Brian.

Be careful Brian Martin, by law, cats are considered wild and not personal property....however dogs are "by law" considered personal property and you can be sue out your butt for damage to one. That is why if you hit and kill a dog and no one is around, you are suppose to leave your contact info with the dead dog. On the other hand, if you get bit by someones dog you can sue them. Did ya fail to maintain your fence? Violation of a leash law...bit of a stretch don't ya think?
 

I honestly can tell you this folks and friends will vouch for me. I've lived a long time and nothing much has made me fearful. But an encounter with the Lake County Sheriffs defartment and the DA it has in it's pocket has made me afraid of what power can do in a small pond scenario. I hope no one else has to deal with their bullying, corrupt tactics when they call for protection. I called 911 twice in one day, the first one wasn't connected to an unprovoked attack of the second and the female perpetrator either put out for them or paid them off for coming after me. The proof of my innocence was ignored. They assume a lot without understanding anything.
 

Do away with the "Victims Witness" program. They are entirely useless. The whole law enfarcement maze is cozy and doing wierd coverups for each other. The State needs to come in and investigate everyone in uniform. EVERYone.
 

This is the Lovelace group, we have posted above the information concerning Garzoli's and Perdocks impending doom, we received confirmation on this from inside sources, it looks like the time has come for Mitchell to try an image overhaul by now dumping Perdock and Garzoli, nice to wait till the election season has started, we wonder what amazing information has come about that now causes him to drop them off the old cliff, couldn't be the election time pressure we have been putting on him. We know that both individuals need to be dumped and it should have been done a long time ago, instead of letting the ride on the public dime, we want to be sure Mitchell does not gain any political gain from these actions.

Post 8:41 that is an excellent question for Hoppy, the real issue as we have stated is going to be how many questions is he going to be able to fend off using the civil suit as an excuse. We need to make sure we have a number of different questions concerning his integrity not connected to Dinius for the calls ins. post what you have as the week progresses, so we can have the same effect on Hoppy as we did on Mitchell during the debate...By the way are we correct that no in the news media covered the outcome of the Rivero radio show with Mitchell what is up with that?
 

It seems that the only protection we need as citizens could come from the great responses of the local Fire Stations. I owe my life to them while the sheriffs deputies investigating the assault on me (Perdock being one of them) were focused on harrassing me as a senior citizen.

I see that Mendocino County Animal Control is doing the investigation regarding Lake Co. Animal Control Officer Terry Flynn. It's amazing that the Lake Co. Animal Control Director it smarter then our current Sheriff Rodney K. Mitchell.
 

No I beg your pardon but it was not the idea of the LCACC director to have Mendo do the investigation it was Anita Grant and the Assist. Director who made the decision, as the Director is the mother in law of the abuser. And Yes, I agree Rodney is a dumb ass.

In 2001 (or 2002) animal control did not have a person to supervise the organization. LCSO provided Sgt. Jones until they were able to get a director. Back than, you could trust LCSO to do the right job. Now Anita Grant bypasses LCSO and goes out of county to have someone conduct an Internal Affairs investigation on a in county agency. Even she can't trust LCSO or Mitchell.

So no one said the BOS was going to terminate, as they do not have the power to do so. But they are in charge of the money and we knew if we put pressure on them they would react and push the issue. Kelly Cox is also involved with trying to get Rodney to move, as he is the money guy. Mitchell however took his sweet time and waited till he could use their termination to make himself look good, which is why he is doing it now. i.e. election time. Something tells me that both Garzoli and Perdock will milk the retirement system like McCarty did. We the tax payers won't know about it for years, if ever. I bet that Mitchell has already put things in place so that his two little buddies Garzoli and Perdock will get a medical retirement for life. A tax free retirement that We the tax payers keep paying for year after year. How many others are on the tax free retirement system under Mitchell's watch?
Does anyone know how many Deputies or Correctional Officers are retired are for medical reasons under Mitchell's watch?
 

Although I don't like it, they (Perdock and Garzoli) are entitled to their retirement at age 50. That can not be taken away. Be glad they are not over 55 because they would get 2.7%. Retiring at 50 they will only get 2%. They can not draw retirement until 50 but they can cash out only what they put in and that's in one lump sum. That is taxed and if under 59, an additional federal tax must be paid.

This is for any state/local employee not just cops.

Mitchell promoted a deputy to sergeant even after he pulled and pointed a loaded gun at another deputy. As a Deputy Chief, that same person passed out drunk in front of another deputy's house during a party.

Mitchell fired Bealnd after testifying in the preliminary hearing.

Mitchell allowed Garzoli to operate a helicopter on a county grant.

Mitchell failed to review the DEA grant.

Mitchell failed to have his sergeant properly supervise the range.

Mitchell does not direct his detectives to arrest Wright during a search where Wright is in possession of stolen LCSO property.

Mitchell had Wright arrested the same day that the press gets wind of this.

Mitchell lied during a radio interview stating LCSO has never had to pay out of wrongful discipline. I guess he forgot about the famous Ringen case.

Mitchell allowed three FTO's to speak trash about Lande on a LCSO website, but Lande never complained about those FTO's and Mitchell knew it.

Mitchell refused to release the EEOC findings.

That statement does revel something as to the way we operate, we will for example assign a corruption investigator to an individual, so they can concentrate on that person. I wouldn't worry about Rusty or his family. Our main concern is how Mitchell mismanaged that investigation. How his sergeant supervised Rusty as a range master for several years and did not even know what Rusty was doing. Lets also not forget how Mitchell turned this into a political movement by first not having the detectives arrest Rusty at the scene and then arresting him only went the press got wind of it.

Just like a drug dealer, you bust them with the goods, get a warrant and search his house. You don't get the drugs, file a complaint, wait several day later for a search warrant and then wait several weeks before making an arrest. God Mitchell what were you thinking!!!

What this forum needs is less B.S. and more pro-active people who really want to step up. Hurling baseless acusations isn't going to get rid of Mitchell. Instead of spending all the time with negitive energy, why don't the forum orgainizers spend some time/energy on helping Rivero. He needs to make contact with every potential voter. He needs to be able to personally sell himself. One way to do this is to volunteer to host a neighborhood reception for him. These are very effective ways to introduce a candidate in a controlled situation. Since you (sic) are the host, you can invite only those who you feel will be receptive to meeting and hearing from the candidate. The BEST people to invite are those who have a predisposition to vote for the incumbent.

All this other stuff is just plain ranting and raving and it won't get nayone elected. Remember all you (so called) smart people who want Mitchell out, it is really tought to beat an incumbent. So, get to the REAL WORK and forget all this bitch'in and moan'in.

I DO remember Mitchell stating LCSO had never paid out for a wrongful disciplinary action. Well maybe her needs to Look at the Ringen -v- Lake County. The county had to pay Ringen after LCSO management got caught lying.

Is anyone aware of the Sheriff's offices policy of stripping confiscated firearms down to the bare actions, before sending them in to be destroyed, and then selling the parts? The law technically only requires the action be destroyed.
 

Well well well, we should havwe warned you Millie, we were going to let everyone play last night, it was an amazing study to watch what happens when the blog is left wide open and everyone plays for the night. We have now hit 6000 posts, we want to express our gratitude to all those great people who have assisted us, those on the inside taking great risk and all the citizens that have been giving us information, you are wonderful people and your county will be returned to you.

We can not express how amazed we are at the success and accomplishments that have happened in a very shot period of time. Thank all of you for your efforts and support.

For the future we have two things to say, The supervisors are going to come under attack and it will not be a pretty picture, stand by, we have some great concerns surrounding this inept ignorant group of wanna be's..

Mitchell and Hopkins, we have advise for you, get the hell out of the county, if you think the pressure we have put on you in 6000 posts is bad, you do not want to be around for the next 6000. That is a promise.

We are setting up plans and direction following the removal of Mitchell and Hopkins, and those individuals will in due time be warned as to what will await them. From the supervisors to every elected and non-elected office and position in this county. You will be held accountable. This county will be run by the citizens and for the citizens..Period

The other soon-to-be sent complaint to the Commissions on Judicial Performance is Lechowick. I anticipate finishing it in the next week or so, and will send it off to the CJP then. I will forward the complaint to the Lovelace group, and let you all know the outcome - which would also be posted on the CJP site. Hopefully, it does some good and protects others from the type of abuse that has been doled out here. In your list of deputies, you should add Chad Holland. He had illegal weapons too, and only turned them in once the heat was on Rusty. Why isn't he being prosecuted or reported to the DA as well? That's like saying that someone can steal big ticket items and then turn them in later and get off scott-free -- coming clean later doesn't mean that they didn't commit the crime in the first place. The law applies equally to all, doesn't it, Sheriff Mitchell? That's what you said.....
 

No single individual can go head to head with these criminal organizations, but collectively we can see to it that they are disbanded and that new, prudent leadership emerges. The county's current policy for leave with pay states: “Upon the determination by a department head or his/her designee that an employee should be removed from duty pending proposed disciplinary action, such employee may be placed on leave with pay for such purposes. Such leave shall extend for the actual period necessary to complete an investigation into the charges and/or complete the pre-disciplinary process.” At least we now know Perdock is no longer on medical and is under investigation for? What?
 

This is the Lovelace group, we will now return you to regular programming, the experiment into chaos has ended, and it was quite interesting indeed. By the way Lovelace has already applied to the rights for the movie, after the county is rid of all the corruption, we think the movie will rival "Fargo" for storyline, and content. You know what I know I had email the LoveLace Group telling them I knew who was the person/s behind the curtain Moderating this blog but I said I would not openly disclose, I even told them they owed Me the money but alas someone else apparently dimed them out, that was fine with me I just opted to get the autographed photo, but again that never showed up in My email, I asked the actual winner had they got their 1,000 prize but as I read on here they said they had lied and it was all for fun. So I still know what I know and No will not tell but if you know me and see me I will tell you face to face.

Now you don't have to go 'begging' to the Sheriff's Dept. for a complaint form nor get the "run-a-round"......everywhere else.
 

Lovelace: It took them only 206 years to put one in place. These are the ones to oversee our rights. For things to change there are laws that need addressing or the same just goes on. I would say there's not many that is not aware of all the dishonesty that are employed by these scum bags. I'm truly sorry but we are just beating our gum's together. The corruption permeates the total system.
 

Post 10:01: With all do respect to your view might I add this. Allowing those that misuse government no responsibility for their actions is the problem now. That's like going to see your supervisor and he takes care of your problem but the person that is the problem exist. I know believe me I know.
 

Changing the system is done by voting. Voting is what changes government. If the people don't' like Mitchell's mismanagement, than a simple vote can change that. When Mitchell first ran for Sheriff, he had support from the union (which then included correctional officers and deputies), but nobody in management would support him. The people were upset at management's failure to listen to the people. Mitchell promised a smaller management staff and more oversight.

Now Mitchell is doing exactly what he ran against. A larger management, less deputies and detectives and almost no oversight. This is why Mitchell will be replaced.

"Guns don't kill people, people kill people." It is a good saying, but current laws and regulations must be followed and police must lead by example.

The entire range policy and practice should be under review. From Sgt. McPherson to all the range masters, there should be no exceptions. A complete inventory needs to be done and should be done by an outside source. That source has to have a firm knowledge of weapons and a good knowledge or range procedures. I'm sure an officer (not enlisted) at the local National Guard could assist in this and cost almost nothing to LCSO. You can't trust Mitchell, Brown or any range master to do this.
