The public is never going to except an LCSO finding on racial profiling. Not after the Garzoli and Perdock mishaps. If you watched all of Mitchell's video's, you will notice he left out a major racial incident. It had to do with a supervisor calling Morshed racial slurs and another deputy calling Rivero racial slurs. So Mitchell, why not answer those complaints. The EEOC is a separate entity not connected to LCSO. I still do not understand why Mitchell does not release the findings without mentioning names. Do you?

Oh you can say that at first Rivero was not offended, but several other deputies nearby (like me) were offended.

Last August sheriff Mitchell and district attorney Gary Luck had one of their wildest dreams come true, they got their brand-new hand-crafted anti-nepotism policy passed by our easily duped BOS. Our two ace crime fighters had spent months radically reshaping the existing policy, and as heads of the revision committee had free reign to tailor the regs to suit their needs. The two main changes were #1. All nepotism disputes would be handled in-house by department heads instead of coming before the BOS, and #2. The nepotism regs would now be triggered by anyone living in the "same household", instead of applying only to family members.

The D.A. and sheriff wanted the first change so they could load their departments with family members of their staffs, and to basically let in-house favoritism run amok unhindered and undetected by their BOS bosses. And in the relatively short time the regs had been in effect, the sheriff in particular had flagrantly abused his new-found power to call them the way he saw them with no BOS oversight. But as bad as the favoritism angle was, there was an even darker side to their plan, and that was to use it to promote the narrow-minded and self-righteous religious beliefs held by our two conservative "Christian" lawmen.

That sad fact was made clear by the insertion of the second part of the new ordinance, which was clearly aimed at the sinner community, either gays and lesbians or unmarried hetro couples. Also caught up in the dragnet of morality offenders were any roommates of county employees, who were now elevated to the status of family member, that is until they ask for county-sponsored health benefits. That's where the obvious inconsistency came into play, one that would have been obvious to any law enforcement personal who were truly interested in fairness. But neither of the two "devout" Christian department heads were interested in fairness, especially when it got in the way of them finding a new and legal way to persecute the people they decided weren't worthy of God's love or a square deal.

But the bully boys bit off more than they could chew, because even though it squeeked though on a 3-2 vote the first time (Lewis, Robey and Brown "aye", Smith and Farrington "nay"), it wasn't long before their brazen abuse of their new power and some sage lobbying by key members of county government did them in. Giving benefits to domestic partners was a budget-busting non-starter, so there really was no other option than to go back to square one, and the guidelines of the old ordinance. Both county administrator Kelly Cox and county personnel director Drummond were dead-set against the new regs, and after the supervisors finally realized that they had been bamboozled by the sheriff and D.A., the revision was rescinded on a 4-0 vote (Lewis was absent), killing the plan for good

This message is from the Lovelace group: We had an interesting day today, we want to throw out some rather vague questions and name a few names, it may appear disconnected but their is method in the madness. Hey Andy how are you? Cecil and how are you? You gentlemen have an interesting history. Different subject now.

What information does anyone have out there on "hunting trips" into the forest, what were those trips about, Ski you here us, interesting hunting huh? Ski, who was there with you, we know, and we are looking real close at some interesting situations.

Any corrupt SO's getting a bit nervous right now. What is this group of cops and associated individuals who do not want this to go any further. Do you have a name for your group? we have heard a name and a few other things. Oh this sounds so vague we know, but just the beginning of a very big picture, that is not real pretty.

Anybody know Jim Samples? We do.

This name has been around alot, we heard it again, not sure of the last name spelling, Jason Furgeson, that will be close enough, Jason how are you? We don't like you, we hear you are real bad cops, we don't like you either Ski, we think you are a real bad cop. In fact we think we have recently uncovered a whole network of bad cops, hidden agendas, Vendetas, and undertakings that are very dark. You know we are rummaging through the old attic, and the rats that are scurrying about don't like the idea of being uncovered.

We are still asking the question of what happened to the three people who reported seeing Perdock drinking at the Konocti harbor shortly before the crash. Any information.

Let us ask a question, if several higher level local government people in our county have received warnings about watching their backs becuase Mitchell is mad, and these warnings came from inside the sheriff's office what are we to think, this has not been made public knowledge, but has and did happen.

Since we now hear the story that the hidden microphone was a fake put there to freak people out, is that just another cover-up and do we still hold out the possibility that it was Mitchell, he got caught and this is the spin that came out. If if that were true, the turmoil it caused sure points to the internal unrest in the sheriffs department.

As all of you may have perceived concerning the upcoming Dinius lawsuit, it is over, it was over and done when it was filed, the county will lose and they will lose big time, The not quilty result of the first Dinius trial, and all that is going to come out in the civil trial which will be far more damaging to Mitchell as Civil Trials leave much more open to be presented then a criminal trial you know this is a done deal.

All of you need to start stating your position as the election start-up draws closer, We have been saying for a month now, Markham is not going to run, there are no other's in the wind. Now if Mitchell and or Hopkins step down prior to the election, and with what is going to come out between now and then this is a real possibility. This would paint a real interesting possibility. Think about this if you are biting your tounge because you do not like Mitchell but you say you do not like Rivero, and if you support Mitchell openly you will look like a fool. You should be working with us to remove Mitchell, no one, I mean no one will step up to the plate unless they have a lock in that Mitchell will not win, Therefore your support of Mitchell on the blogs and other places means you yourself are stopping potentially good people from entering the race. Remember Mitchell told Ringen he would destroy, Markham got hammered by Mitchell for even thinking about it and he isn't a cop anymore.

It appears that The Mitchell folks should do everything they can to remove him, the department and your choices would be far greater. Now note to Hopkins, you want to make sure you win, bury Mitchell in the public and you will have your victory. Something to think about from the Lovelace group.
 

There is no method in your madness, and you do not know a hawk from a handsaw. What are you, in junior high school? I know something you don't know, nyaah nyaah!
 

The officers who were in the LCSO anywhere from 4 to 10 years ago and are no longer with the LCSO due to retirement or other reasons for leaving, in many cases are actually unaware to a large degree of the corruption and deception that has and is occuring in the sheriffs department. Several of these people that we have had conversations with who now have been brought into the light, are actually saying man I did not know all this was going on. And indeed it is true, there was and has been an internal network in place where those that were not thought to be in the know with the Mitchell operating procedure and the corruption associated with it, were indeed kept out of the "know" they came in everyday did there job, and were seen as not being able to be brought into the Rodney fold. We have all gone to school highschool generally, and not been a part of a certain click of kids, we did not really now what they did, we thought they went to school like we did and did not give it much thought, no one came up to those not in the know and said hey you should join us, they simply were perceived as "not worthy" of the activities which the group was undertaking. This is the case and has been in the sheriffs department for many many years. To some degree Robert is of that make, but in his case he has "profiled" some of the current cops well, others he is simply not informed enough about nor has he gathered the detail of information we have as citizens here. Now he we suspect got the Press Democrat article of yesterday and that may have caused a response on our blog. We think the post was good but a bit naive, we encourage Robert to post more if he feels compelled.

To those individuals who are suspicious of anonymous posting process. We choose this method of the blog, as it is very critical to a start up operation where you are uncovering such deep corruption, as well the initial reports which still come in said over and over you better watch out if you are going to revel and investigate all of this it could be dangerous. Some ignorant people in La La would say no the greatest cure for that is to post your names, wrong, wrong wrong, easy for you to say, your not taking the risk we are and believe me there is risk. If anyone underestimates the potential of the Mitchell mind to hurt you are badly mistaken. You may not like it, but until we finish the business at hand this will be the format. Now in due time the great and wonderful OZ we call Lovelace may be reveled, but at this point don't hold your breath. This blog has been very very effective, and we have made great strides in moving the actions and gathering the people together to engage in this activity and investigation.

Lovelace continuing: I wonder how many of you know that we have had direct contact with individuals who tell us that many supervisors over the past few years and recently have received messages from officers inside the force telling them to watch there back as Rodney and the corruption force is getting angry. This is an actual fact. Now we know this has happend to several supervisors many times, and have they brought this out into the open? No, now you want to talk to us about being couragous, and stepping into the light. Think again, we you supervisors revel ALL this information and do not keep it under wraps then perhaps you can throw stones at us. We have accomplished more and uncovered more in the past few months the both our local papers put together, and filtered information to a number of entities in our local government. So we would warn you not to be to quick in trying to hammer us.
 

I understand that the board of supervisors only have control of the money. But do they not have a voice? Not asking questions of how that money is spent. Do they not represent the citizen? Or those that are dishonest with their duties.With a personnel matter and can't talk about it allow those that misuse their office to flourish, thus the Dinius case.Because there is no oversight you have bureaucrats accusing another for one of their own.Then to justify it after its done.Now that's a real loss knowing right from wrong.

Exactly James and we have been hammering on the Supervisors, they do have a voice, they choose not to use it, this is why the Dinius lawsuit is so scathing, they had been warned about Mitchell and Hopkins over and over, now when the shi* hit the fan they are trying to look proactive, when we know it is just ass covering for not doing what they should have done many many months, and they have been given that message from our group. We are also asking them to put out a joint statement from all the supervisors indicating that Mitchell and Hopkins should step down. We do believe the board is scared of Mitchell and like to use the excuse of not being political however we have seen through that ruse, and do not by it.

I am sorry, but you telling me something is an actual fact is not evidence. You're constant fabrications have so undermined your credibility that no one takes this blog seriously. Reprinting screeds by Smurf? is this the level to which you have sunk? Congratulations on becoming a laughingstock. I am now wondering if this blog has not, in fact, been set up by Mitchell as some kind of Cointelpro op, because it's doing him more good then harm.
 

The Irish have a saying,"Don't bring it on you." My problem with the local bureaucrats was pushed on me. All knew that employees lied and choose to lie with them. Thus I was left not understanding why their oath had stipulations why my rights could be abridged.There is not one group within this local government that did not have excuses. As not a government employee my rights fell to those that are. "Its a employee matter."
 

When I retired to living full time in Lake County, one of the biggest kicks was to read the local papers' weekly crime logs. It was fun to go to those columns and peevishly shock visitors with the strange dangers lurking here. That took a more personal tone when I was attacked with no provocation by a mentally disturbed neighbor. The response from the LCSD officers became the joke as they made every possible error in investigating the matter. Perhaps a column titled "Lake County's Keystone Cops" might be a good one for the Bee or the Observer.
 

thanks to all of you for you dedication to the destruction of the corruption in our county. Keep up the posting our numbers are going in leaps and bounds, to give you an idea of the scope of this operation, we are number 1 on the google search system world wide with just sheriff mit punched into the system we have moved up to number 9 now with just the word sheriff m plugged in. When you project that number out world wide it is an amazing accomplishment, right here in Lake county. This is a result of the citizens of Lake County being on the attack. Keep it up. They are going down.

Did someone mention the importance of the Feds coming in, well just as a brief update, that is a specific situation we are focusing a great deal of concentration on right now, we believe with the advent of the Dinius suit underway, the time is right, we have recieved a positive gesture from the "feds" in our recent contact. Now we will, using due diligence, warn you corruption supporters, every time we say we are going to do something, we do. As we have said many times, better put the helmet on Corruption boys, Incoming!!!!! Sort of like a predator drone isn't it these guys just can't see it coming, yet we warn them each time.
 

Hey maybe Sheriff Mitchell and his little boys will be like former Orange Co. Ca. Sheriff Mike Carona. Who's going to Prison for his crimes. Other Prisoner will love to hear Rodney sing.

It is important that all our supporters at this point go after all their respective BOS officials and urge them to make a statement to both Hopkins and Mitchell to step down. There is not a need for an exacting criminal incident to be confirmed, their respective departments are in chaos, The citizens are alarmed, if either one of these guys were running a business or company they would have been thrown out years ago. For the supervisors to make this statement would bring congratulations from Mike Thompson, and the citiens would see finally that we have some strength in the BOS. It does not matter what happens with Garzoli, he will never be in uniform again, the Dinius trial will take care of itself, and the game is over, call them urge them demand they make this statement now.

Have a friend who told me that her husband rec'd a ticket. First one ever. When asked was he speeding she replied no. Then why the ticket. She said that he was going 50 mph on hwy 20 came to curve where sign said slow down to 35 so he did. So why did he get the ticket, SO said he was driving to slow. Went to court to fight it and SO did not show. Judge fined him 150.00 dollars, he was pissed. Sheriffs called for their yearly donation and her husband told them they already got it by falsely writing him a ticket that cost him. They donate every year but from now on they will donate elsewhere. WTG idiots!
 

Ticket friend. First, how did the deputy come up with the speed. Our marked vehicles have certified speedometers, but they do not get the yearly verification checks. If it was a detective driving a Taurus, none of those vehicle's have certified speedometers and a yearly speedometer verification is rare. Only two deputies in the entire LCSO have California State certified training on estimating speeds of vehicles in a stationary or moving position. Martin and Fisher both were police officers and had this training.
 

Garzoli, Perdock, McMahon, Morshed, Brown. All promoted by Mitchell. Another fine reason to remove Mitchell.

You're trying to make us believe you work in the DA's Office. If you are associated with the DA's Office than answer this, who's office is next to Art's office.
 

We must get Mitchell out of office. How can anyone believe he is a good manager when his management and supervisors lie, deceive, sexually harass, harass complainers and point guns at each other. Next thing we'll hear is that managers are wrestling deputies and challenging them to fight.

We the people can not let this continue any longer. We must rally behind Rivero, he is the only person brave enough to stand up to Mitchell. Help post signs, pamphlets and any other thing Rivero needs. The other side can't or is to scared to bring someone else into the race. So unless you want four more years, then help destroy the GOB's and Mitchell. If you just don't like Rivero, than you'll only have to wait four years and then you can run against him.

Dinius was drunk, but if Perdock had been operating the boat at a safe speed there would have never been a collision. Perdock should have admitted to being at the bar, but instead he denied being there. Funny because nobody ever said he had been drinking alcohol, just being at the bar. Perdock calls two senior sergeants and a Sac. SO sergeant a lire. Than Mitchell hugs Perdock at the scene, but doesn't contact the other party who lost a loved one. Than Mitchell goes after Beland when all that he wanted to do is PAS Perdock to verify he wasn't drunk.

Mitchell than allowed Garzoli to purchase a trailer without knowing the department had no vehicle to pull it. After that mess up any supervisor would want to watch how Garzoli purchases items, but no, Mitchell once again allows Garzoli to write a DEA grant and fails to review it or have another supervisor review it. Oh and lets not forget Garzoli's sexual misconduct that seems to always get ignored.

Great go Mitchell, you make a great Sheriff.

We also understand that a few folks are going to take a trip slightly out of the state possibly this weekend, this information comes from an individual working inside the sheriffs office, does that surprise you? There are eyes inside the sheriffs office dear friends, the time is approaching when the game will be up. Just a little tidbit to let you know we have information coming out from the inside all the time, and not to try anything you will regret, leave people alone, your every move is being watched, each action in the offices and out of them is being looked at, cases and files are being developed. You can at this time take no retribution, harm no one, try to silence anyone, there are many many people with this information. Do not be foolish, but our advice is leave this county as soon as you can find a way.
 

Joe Durta is part of the K9/SWAT group. Dutra was the Coors beer salesman and a local Kelseyville kid. He was recruited by Ski and mostly works the south end at night.

Nice try you investigative whiz bang, you are correct it is Rivero for sheriff, you know he is getting a great laugh out of that right now. Of course you would feel a lot better if it was someone like that at least you would have some lead, you know lead that is police talk for information that might connect a dot for you as you are looking for something. The question you have to answer is, how much do we know about what you don't want us to know. Interesting isn't it, watch your step.

Oh for the remarks of "River for Sheriff", I do visit Kelseyville often and I'm known in the area, but I can tell you I'm not who you think. I have supervised deputies for a long time and don't want to see Mitchell's management continue. I don't agree with Mitchell's policy or any of his management persons (except Howe). You can't be a Sheriff if you can't even manage your staff (who is supposed to be your support). I've seen Garzoli mess up so many times that I've lost count. You can't talk to anyone about Perdock without you being warned about his ability to retaliate. Lets not forget the cream of the crop that is now gone (thank god) McMahon.

I thought Lovelace was a group of people. Now it's a name for a woman? Now I have been profiled on this site as being a woman in Kelseyville due to my sing-song way of wording things. Go figure, didn't see that one, but then I'm no cop.

Thanks for the compliment. It's simple really. No person has the guts to go against Mitchell. Rivero is a real threat to management, supervisors and some deputies. Since they can not make a logical argument (except that they hate Rivero) they must respond with child like behavior.

I compare Mitchel like Biff in "Back to the Future". If you watch the movies, you'll notice Biff has several friends that act just like him. This is the Mitchell management mentality. Mitchell is charged with making sure the Sheriff's Office is professional. Now I do disagree with some persons in the blog and even Lovelace (but just a few). Davidson, Ski and even Samples (although he can be a narcissistic ass) are some of the most professional person's I've ever met. I've called for Mitchell to release the EEOC findings to prove Ski is the good man I believe he is. Not releasing it makes me believe in Lande's side. I will never believe any in house findings.

Garzoli is the worst excuse of a supervisor I've even seen. Perdock is a revengeful person who never forgets and McMahon...Lets just say I'm glad he's gone.

If elected, Rivero will start his tour as Sheriff almost exactly the same why Mitchell did. Mitchell's castle must fall and the only way is the elect Rivero.
 

Alright we have stopped laughing, so we can post now. Lets clarify for you guys what is the connection to the name Lovelace, seems some of you have forgotten the Nixon watergate era. As some of you know but not all the name Lovelace comes from deepthroat the first big porn movie that made it big in the general population, Deepthroat is the name of the individual who was feeding information to the two New York times reporters who were blowing the lid off of the Nixon attempt at hiding the Watergate break in. for you history buffs, it took 30 years before they actually reveled the actual personDeepthroat) who took down Nixon and his administration down. So there you have it, look at it this way, Mitchell and Hopkins represent Nixon and his corruption folks, and deepthroat is who we are, i.e. Lovelace, blowing the lid off of the Mitchell Hopkins corruption group.

See it all makes sense now, of course now you have to ask yourself will we have to wait 30 years after we bring down Mitchell and Hopkins to learn who Lovelace is. The answer is no you will not, there will come a time when in bold and forthright fashion we will stand up and announce to the county and its citizens I am Lovelace, and all will become all so clear to you. Now we do love to see your posts and anger which you putforth concerning Lovelace, your anger, your multiple posts all of it is great because it tells us all so clearly how successfull we are.

Now again, if anyone guesses who Lovelace is there is a 1000.00 prize waiting for you. So far we are up to 15 guesses, the latest being rivero for sheriff, but alas that is wrong as well. Do you want a hint? Ok, here it is, look to the south not to the north, the courthouse is near but not held dear, seek me in the night and you'll not see a thing, watch in the courts for the things that I bring. Rivero won't be able to get rid of people just because they are asses. Also, it seems, and this a generality, most cops are narcissistic, kinda have to be, shy cops probably don't fair too well. All that aside...I moved to Lake Co due to DV and the deputies that responded to my house to assist me with a RO were no help whatsoever, some even treating me like a criminal. Yet there are still a lot of good men and women at LCSO. Sometimes, when you are getting a new boss, it is easier to go with what you know. Since both candidates have some budget background, it would be interesting to know what plans they have including contigency plans for any shifting of money from one budget unit to another to keep the department solvent in all areas. Given the current state budget deficiet, this could be a very real issue.

That's a good post 956, here is the question maybe someone knows the answer out there, is this lawsuit with all parties named, because each of the individuals will be in a position to loose their personnal assets, or does the county pay all judgements attached to each individual and they as sole entities pay nothing from their own assests? Can they be sued individually for what monetary value their role played as deemed by the requested judgements of the Dinus team, or are some of those listed only listed because they can provide testimoney the Dinus team wants, the same as calling a witness.
 

Doesn't matter if Mitchell and Hopkins step down, I believe that the County is still obligated to pay for the defense if they were employed by the county and are being sued for acts in the scope of their duty. However, as this suit will be dismissed (once it is filed, because we are still at the claim stage) pretty quickly (my guess is summary judgment) it doesn't matter much. Hopkins has absolute immunity for anything he did (with the possible exception of the infamous "drunken sailor" letter, and there's no constitutional violation I can see there) and Mitchell has qualified immunity. This case will never get as far as a jury.

Well the one thing you didn't address is the money, how much who pays does insurance cover millions upon millions. It may have a better chance of going to trial because it is a compelling story, it has exposure across the globe in sailing circles. The aspect of this level of unfair process Dinius went through does not set well with a lot of people. Let me tell you Dinius's lawyer did not go through the past year doing nothing, he has a real real good idea what he has, and what ever it is if it is a jury that is going to give it to him, he can push it.

Nobody asked that I saw that if they step down the county would pay nothing. The removal of Mitchell and Hopkins is the demand regardless of this suit and has been part of our statement prior to the suit. I am not sure that the constitutionality of the offense on Hopkins part is necessarly going to weigh on a jurys monetary judgement, unless instructed different from the judge? Not sure there.
 

By the way regardless of this case outcome, they have to go. We have total organizational breakdown, collusion, a BOS that tells the AG they don't trust the two men or their departments. One could go on, none the less, the party is over, and should be, from the perspective of any logical person regardless of their political leanings if you will.
 

I understand that most of the people who post here are completely ignorant of the law, but Hopkins has absolute immunity for actions he takes as a prosecutor. That means he can't be sued by Dinius for anything he did to bring a case to court as a prosecutor because he's immune from suit. This is a very well established principle, otherwise every mook who was acquitted could sue for being charged. The "drunken sailor" letter is arguably not within the scope of a prosecutor's duty, but to be actionable it still must violate a constitutional right held by Dinius, and I do not think it does. I know I wouldn't have to explain this if Wikipedia had an entry on the subject of the absolute immunity of prosecutors.

Here is a good question. If the BOS of supervisor's control the money for the county, why don't they just lower Mitchell's salary to minimum wage? He as minimum (if that) performance employee and should be paid that way.

Once those persons hear the information they will also agree of a mismanaged abortion of an organization and trial manipulation.

Garzoli mismanaged the DEA grant and crashed a helicopter that he should not have been operating in the first place. Mitchell could not manage Perdock, who called his own investigators liars, accessed reports when told not to and lied about not being at a bar the night of the collision.

This is two major events (Garzligate and Perdockgate) that should have never taken place. Mitchell only had to review the DEA grant or have a captain review it. Mitchell should have locked the Dinius report so that nobody could have accessed it. We place deputies on Admin Leave all the time during an investigation, and when the investigation clears him, than he is put back on duty.

RiMS is a database program that controls reports, statistic's and information. RiMS has the capability to stop anyone but authorized persons from reading a specific report or even an entire section of the RiMS program. For an example; RiMS can be accessed by Lakeport Police and Clearlake Police, but they can not access the reports prepared or stored in RiMS. I see no reason for a correctional officer, correctional sergeant, coroner clerk or even a office clerk to have access to the entire Bismark Dinius report. Have we done this before? Yes. We have had very sensitive reports involving deputies that were locked out to anyone but investigators.

Mitchell seems to have mixed up "Transparency" with "Security". Under his definition of "Transparency" with RiMS, I see no difference from a deputy or a jail guard accessing a case, a journalist or even a private person.

This is two major events (Garzligate and Perdockgate) that should have never taken place. Mitchell only had to review the DEA grant or have a captain review it. Mitchell should have locked the Dinius report so that nobody could have accessed it. We place deputies on Admin Leave all the time during an investigation, and when the investigation clears him, than he is put back on duty.

Did Hopkins let the statute run out to charge Perdock before he charged Dinius?
 

It is true Perdock can not be charged as the cause of the collision, but he is still able to be charged with Perjury.

by the way in reference to the Perdock question there was some tricky business going on in the manner in which they charged Dinius, which caused a situation where Perdock could not be charged with the same thing, someone posted this a while back but we do not remember the details. We all should remember the statement from the BOS in essence, we cannot trust Hopkins and Mitcell Mr. AG, so we need you to come in, if this is the manner in which the BOS has to do things, why would they not ask them to step down? It does not have to be considered political, simply that it is what is fair to the citizens of the county, and what pray tell is more important then that. Are they concerned about image? Are they scared of Mitchell, the right thing to do is the right thing to do. These guys would have been thrown out of their postions in a public company years ago, due simply to their total lack of leadership, and the near total destruction of their organizations. Come on BOS, step up to the plate.
 

If supervisors get letters warning them about the anger of Mitchell or Hopkins, and these letters of warning come from the inside, the first place in a normal BOS position a person would go to is the sheriff and DA themselves, But our BOS members do not, and then they give the letters to Anita Grant, whose role it is is to protect the county. What does that tell you about the way the BOS see's Rodney and Hoppy,it is time to ask them to step down.
 

With in this local government there is not one person the BOS could not ask to look at the Garzoli affair. No one? We are asking those that are to keep a eye out for our good to say they were asleep at the wheel? I bet their looking for Moonbeam Brown to show the same tenacity he did for Mr.Dinius. If he don't they won't, it will be a personnel matter and can't talk about. There is no intestinal fortitude from the BOS. Their oath is squat to its a personnel matter.
 

Don't let Mitchell fool you, he is as slick as oil. Hardly anyone took notice of how he answered the gang problems in Lake County at the debate. Instead of defining "Racial Profiling" verses "Criminal Profiling", his answer was not correct. Racial and Criminal Profiling are both a "Proactive" not "Reactive" action. Talking about responding to the scene of a crime and the dispatcher does not giving out the race of the suspect is not Profiling and is not by any means Proactive.

Racial Profiling is simple. Stopping a person based only on that person's race. Not if the person fits the description of a suspect. Enforcing gang problems are semi racial depending on what gang you are after. Sureno and Norteno gangs are primarily Hispanic where Hells Angels and Nazi Low Riders are primarily white.

When looking for a suspected gang member, you look if the person is associated with other documented gang members, monikers, known gang hang outs and criminal activity. This is why Mitchell doesn't have a clue about gang investigations.

Vote for Mitchell and see NO change. Vote for Rivero and get change. It's that simple.

I'm a private citizen and I've been following the blog regularly for about a month now. I see the need to bring out any bad apples, but it almost seems to be forgotten about those that put forth the right effort and do the right things. How come it is that its always about the negative and never about the positive?

To post 11:14 there is a lot of proof of corruption and defiance by DA Hopkins. Example, in a 2009 case the DA seized over a million dollars from an Upper Lake rancher. The DA kept the money for over a year The judge ordered the DA to produce evidence to the rancher that the money was illegally obtained. Hopkins refused to turn over the E-V-I-D-E-N-C-E. to the rancher or the court. The judge fined the DA $1,000 (paid for by tax payer money), The DA then was forced to give all the money back to the rancher.

After you collect "all" the evidence you piece it together, If it doesn't fit you throw it out. I can understand you wanting to try and discredit everyone, You/they have a lot to lose. You can be sure this time around all the Is will be dotted and the Ts crossed. The important information goes through the secure E mail so they don't have to put up with you.
