I love it when Pro Mitchell supports demand to see our name but don't have the balls to put their name on this blog. I don't know why, if you defend Mitchell nothing happens to you.

Mitchell is a retaliatory manager, can not control his managers and can't even review a grant before signing it. If you oppose him, Mitchell will hold an IA over your held in limbo for months to almost a year. Rivero is not the only one Mitchell has done this to.

Morshed had sex on duty and just got a suspension. Garzoli makes sexist comments to a female employee and nothing happens. Brown knows about Garzoli and does nothing. Morshed filed an EEOC compliant and nothing happened. Rivero filed an EEOC complaint and nothing happened. Perdock was well known for retaliation. Perdock lied to investigators and even access the Dinius case just after being ordered by Mitchell himself not to do so and nothing happened.

Ok back to the subject at hand. So McPherson says to everyone "well don't believe everything you read cause the only thing I ever had was some old antique guns, which were totally legal!!!!Ok Listen McPherson we know the locker, we know the flak jackets that were in it, we know the weapons you had in the locker, and we know the people who saw it all in person. LOL
 

Sign update Hopkins and Mitchell are rolling out the big signs now, and yesterday Hoppy started to have his signs put up, this is exactly the pattern we predicted and the timing. We all know signs do not win an election in this county. Getting to the people is what will win this election.

Another subject there is going to be a post put up concerning JJ and some interesting information that has come our way, and a conversation that someone had with JJ's mother, so that was quite interesting and that will get posted later today. Oh John boy we got's eyes, you should watch out.
 

Flash to the citizens of Lake County, we just got information that our Supervisors are watching us very carefully, here is an example. At the town hall Rivero event in Upper Lake we had gotten word that Brown had sent an informant to the event, that person gave Brown information of who was there and who was talking with who etc. Now Mr. brown we have this from very good sources, closer to you then you think. There was a description given to Brown of a person, Brown was interested in this person and who they were talking with, but the informant did not know one of the individuals who was reported on.
So what does Brown do, he goes to Rushing, and has her contact someone she knows who was there to see if they could gather information from this person. The person Rushing contacted was pissed off to say the least, and appalled at the attempt. Ok first of all Browny you are in over your head friend. You think you know who know's who and you don't you are making a lot of mistakes. You have bitten off more then you can swallow cowboy, piece of advice, you better think twice if you are talking to someone who you think is safe. Rushing you better protect yourself from your peers, You are getting played and you don't know it.

Oh by the way we made sure they did not get any details or information on what they were trying to figure out! :-] Thank you to some good citizens for their help!

The point McPherson is not the guns YOU shot on the range. You were placed in charge of the Range. Wright worked for you as a Range Master. You did not supervise him properly which lead to weapons being modified, LCSO property stolen and illegal weapons being used on the range. You are in charge of the Range not any other supervisor in the entire department. Just like Mitchell, you should except your wrong doing and step down from the Range.

It seems Mitchell and McPherson use the same type of management skills. "Supervise and deny." Just like Mitchell won't take responsibility for the Dinius monstrosity, Garzoligate and the abortion of Rivero's IA. Garzoli, Perdock, Brown, McPherson etc.. Can't someone in LCSO do their job correctly?

If we accomplish only one thing on our site and that is to bring you and your family any sense of justice and solace for your pain and the memory of Lynn, then we will feel we have accomplished great things. If by our efforts we bring down Rodney and Hopkins and the corrupt and dark regime that is currently in place then can the true healing process be undertaken. We cannot imagine the pain your family has gone through in these past few years, and to see the man responsible still being protected by Rodney as if the "hug" on the dock that night were still happening is impossible for anyone who has not gone through it know. Our thoughts and prayers are always with your family, and we will continue this fight for justice long after these elections are over. There are many in our local government who must as well be cast away, from Rob Brown to others of the BOS, from the unfair media outlets to those working very hard right now to seek us out and bring down our site and our efforts. But for all that is happening and has happened nothing is more important then your family finding justice and the as yet un-found peace you so deserve. 910 you need to get over your poor "cry me a river". The Dinius case made not only local, but state and national news in several boating magazines. Go to any cop convention, mention you're from Lake County and watch the Dinius case come up. If you haven't noticed, Baxter also brings up the Dinius case often and is quite upset on what he has found. Also, Anderson and Rhoades brings it up often. So everyone running for an elected position in Lake County brings up the Dinius case, but you think Mitchell should be given a free pass.

Ostini did a good job. Mitchell and Perdock had no right interfering, giving investigators false information, failing to call an outside agency immediately, harassing witnesses or following Ostini's advise. Ostini made a few mistakes and admitted to it without blaming others. Mitchell on the other hand made excuse after excuse.

Show me a California Sheriff who could not control his 2nd in command, his lieutants or sergeants. Mitchell is a poor excuse for a Sheriff.

Garzoli took the training from the county for computers and then quit that job.When Garzoli made Lieutenant he applied for a job in Rocklin? and didn't follow through. When Garzoli crashed the helicopter he went to a career counselor for help finding another job. Then I believe Garzoli had said that he was only going to keep his cop job until he got his insurance gig going. At that time he was only able to work the insurance gig part time. Since Garzoli has been on "leave?" He has had full time to get the insurance gig going. What happens if Garzoli can't make it in the insurance Biz? What will Garzoli want us to "train" him to do next? Neurology?????? Perdock "setteled?" for Janitor.

Nobody paid them or twisted their arms. The Dinius case was a major abortion and Mitchell was the doctor of incompetence. It is not a sympathy vote, it is a vote to remove a dictator Sheriff and put a person who stands for his principals in office.

It is creepy to not expect justice and send the right person to jail and that wasn't Dinius. This must be the reason everyone in the Sheriff's and DA's race brings up the Dinius case often. Hell even Mitchell and Hopkins blame each other often!

Then tell me why a citizen's complaint of a violent felony involving a cop is not investigated until almost 4 months later? Complaint of a violent felony that happened 1 1/2 years prior. Investigated 4 months after the complaint and only two months prior to the election. My 10 year old kid could solve this faster than LCSO.

Lynn and her family have faith that Rivero will turn the Sheriff's Office around and make it a professional organization it once was. Having faith is what the family has. This is why Lynn's family, Dinius and Lynn's friends are listed as supporters of Rivero. You will not find one of them on Mitchell's site.

Don't kid yourself, Mitchell was not only responsible for the Dinius case, but how about Garzoligate! Oh you forgot that? Well Rivero was employed during that incident. How about the racial injustice within LCSO. To this date three EEOC complaints have been filed by employees against Mitchell and his management. Still Mitchell refuses to release any of the EEOC findings.
 

Besides that the Civil Case coming up is about how Dinius was treated. If you think Dinius was treated fairly then vote Mitchell. But don't complain when you get treated unfairly by the Dazzling Duo.
 

It is supposed to be "Justice for all", not who mitchell and his thugs pick and choose. You are so out of line with dinius, and many others. If the boating accident was investigated by an outside agency there would be very little or no questions remain unanswered. Mitchell protected Perdock an not the victim. Lake Co. cannot afford four more years of Mitchell's corruption.
 

Wow it is amazing to look back on the days posts and see that the Mitchell and Hopkins crew are actually so mad that we have the support of the Thorton family. Stunning to see such crude and dark little men like those supporting Mitchell, angry at what is a natural and positive thing for the Thorton family and friends to do, to seek change to help throw out those corrupt and dark people like Mitchell and Hopkins and the rest who aided them in their collusion and corruption. To know that for their family and all the cititizens in this county the day is coming when a price will be paid by those cared so little about the Thorton family. Those that actually conspired to cause the wrong man to be convicted, while all the time they are dealing with the tragic death of Lynn. Sad indeed to see that such people exist in this county.

Get everyone over to your house at 6:00 that way you know you are safe, you know KPFZ they screw up the schedules a lot. They will announce the phone number on the air. Our understanding is this is a discussion with just Rivero no debate, and this will be a good chance for Frank to talk about his whole plan, in much the same way he did at the Upper Lake event. So should be good, someone please post the KPFZ phone numbers as well. We do not know if they are doing call in's but we assume so since they usually do on these types of things.

Also every one remember there is a discussion to be held at the BOS meeting on the local methods of using code enforcement and other methods of charging those growing 215 cannabis, it is a proposal being put-forth by Rob Brown and Comstock, both a couple of nut cases, and proposes several ways of charging people to grow plants in a small square-foot area, and calls for fee's to be paid every two years. etc. There is a similar bill trying to be pushed through Ukiah, which NORMAL opposes and in fact many are saying this bill is against California law as it is currently set up. Quite a few people are going to be at the meeting tomorrow and this discussion starts at 10:00 at the court house.

So citizens and Rusty Wight's Attorney, call Sheriff Mitchell and demand an IA on Cecil Brown. Don't sit on your asses call the Sheriff's Department (707-262-4200) and demand an IA on Cecil Brown as the "department" has now just been notified of this event. They have one year to investigate this misdemeanor committed by Cecil Brown, which starts today. Remember they just did this to Frank Rivero and with a bullshit charge! At least the firework charge is true! Just ask Cecil Brown. Wait! Ask Sheriff Mitchell. Ask him why it's ok for his number #2 man to commit a misdemeanor while they charge a correctional officer with the same thing. And Wright didn't even set the fireworks OFF!

April 26, 2010 5:48 PM If the EEOC findings were "unfounded" then why did Anita Grant and Mitchell have every member of his department meet at the walk in theater shortly after Invest. Brown's report was done, to be grilled by Anita as to what is acceptable to say and what is not politically correct when it comes to racist remarks. Most of the employees said they felt like they were talked to like 5 year olds. It was insulting to say the least. I believe there were findings that showed there is racism and that is why Mitchell does not want the results released.
 

And just how is it that you know most of the employees that felt this way? You have nothing to substantiate your beliefs. If the findings showed racism, those that filed the somplaints would know. It just makes sense. I think they were unfounded and that is why those who filed the complaints aren't talking about it..... Figure it out.
 

Mitchell says in his faq video that some say that no one is assigned to either the Elder abuse or child abuse positions. Mitchell says that is a lie. There are no such positions. Don't you think it is about time someone should be in charge that will create those positions to protect the elderly and children? Rivero cares about the most at risk, The young and the old Mitchell doesn't. What will Mitchell do for the children? He plans on getting a drug dog to patrol the schools after the drugs get there. How about a little preemptive drug control?

Frank is putting the hammer down, he just said when he becomes sheriff, one of the first things he will do is order an outside investigation into the actions of Mitchells department and lHopkins, and talking about the importance of bringing justice to Lynn Thorton.

That makes no sense at all. In the incident you described, that person was able to defend himself from public humiliation by denouncing the claims. The best example was when Deputy Ed Bean (now with the DA's Office) was involved in a shooting on Walker Ridge. After a running gun battle around an RV, he returned to the substation. As per procedure, he called an LDF lawyer who was in route to the office. Mitchell arrived and wanted a report. Bean respectfully declined stating his lawyer was in route. Mitchell went on a rampage yelling at Bean so loud he could be heard in the parking lot. Mitchell had to be escorted into the Sergeant's Office with supervisors for several minutes before he came out and decided to wait for the lawyer. Ask Ringen about that one, it was nasty.

Mitchell has a heated temper that people like I have seen in the office several times. He is one hot headed person. Look at all of these blogs and you will find a common demeanor, Mitchell has a hard time supervising his managers. Yet not ONE PERSON who was employed by Rivero has come forward stating he was bad. Why is that? Because Rivero is fair and tough at the same time.

1. Fact: In a past election year Kip Ringen was told by Rodney Mitchell if you run for office I will destroy you! This happened in the Perko's parking lot when Mitchell asked to meet with Kip after hearing of his possible running for the sheriffs position.

2. 4 years ago, Russell Perdock indicated he may run for the sheriffs position, Russell Perdock was told the same thing. Russell Perdock pulled out of the idea of running for sheriff. Russell Perdock was promoted shortly afterwards.

3. Rivero decides he is running for sheriff, all of a sudden we have the almost laughable Rully situation to attempt to discredit him.

Do you understand that it is illegal to put forth a threat against a citizen who is going to run for a public office?

Ms Rushing when Mr. Brown went to you following the Rivero town hall in Upper Lake to try and find out who an individual was who attended the meeting but the person Brown sent to the meeting to report to him, did not know who this person was. You then went to a certain citizen to find out for Mr. Brown who this person was this citizen was not happy with the request. Do you find this to be a democratic and open way of running an open and democratic election?

Mr. Mitchell and BOS what is the current situation with the Rully IA, is there anything being done, has Rivero's partner been interviewed? Has Rully's husband been interviewed? As members of the BOS we are sure you keeping on top of this and asking these critical questions to move this IA forward correct?

Mr. Hopkins why has there been no public announcement on the current investigation by the State Bar into your activities during the Dinius trial? BOS does this lack of transparency send the proper message to the citizens.

Last question is where to all of you fit into the "elitist" group of business's and individuals who have kept the status quo for so long in this county that they are destroying tourism and the very make-up of our county. Since the BOS is in charge of the money, how much tourism has been lost due to the exposure to channel 7 and other media outlets? This is your area of concern BOS and many many months ago you could have helped this county and its citizens by asking Mitchell and Hopkins to step down, now in hindsight we are sure you wished you would have followed our admonition. Are each of you part of this elitist group of people who think you know better then the citizens? That you hide information and only put forth that which you think the citizens need to hear? This vs the opportunity to create and maintain transparency?

You don't have to worry about Kip, and had the profanity and name calling which serves no purpose been left out, your post with content would have stayed up. Now if you want to call kip out do so with some professionalism, and yes you are correct he will respond and generally give you a whopping as usual.
