Excuse Me poster I am not headed to the Big House, I don't have a dog in this fight Tax paying LC resident just reading the blogs keeping my ears open when I drop off to a local place to have coffee with the locals, they get around better than I do so hear more than I do. Of course, if we can get this guy to increase his presentation to a level of intelligence that adds to the communications then we will leave his post, he has to learn how to communicate, and if he communicates at a 6th grade level he will be informed, many people have learned to post here no matter what side of the fence they are on, and he needs to do the same thing. All I'm saying is that Ringen worked at LCSO for over 20 years and never said anything about racisim. Now he says all of them are racist. How can this be that a vocal anti-administration advocate have ignores something so vile, that he waited to report it on the news only to benifit his friend. This makes me sick. Seems to me he is a coward of the worst kind. He was supposed to be protecting the citizens of Lake County and chose to look the other way.

Here's the point as all of you know LE or not, the reason so many officers did not report the racial profiling and the corruption is because of fear for their jobs. You all know that, to ask a person why they did not report these things while they work for Mitchell is an ignorant statement, you know it we all know why. As of this day there are many many LE's who will not say things. Why because of the fear of reprisal. Stop saying why didn't you say something while you were a cop, look at the trouble and heartache for those who did in the past, didn't work out to well for them did it. This is the nature of a corrupt organization, it pushes down dialog and honesty, this is the MO of the Mitchell/Hopkins departments. You guys know it, your trying to ask a loaded question, but it ain't working. Try a different approach.

Not Rod by a long shot. Three questions were asked of Ringen a while back he did not respond. another question was just asked and no reply. A coward of the worst kind. He is collecting a retirement on our backs and he witnessed crime and did nothing. He could have come to the aid of all the minority's the LCSO came into contact with and did nothing. An act of ommission. Coward of the worst kind.
 

I never said anyone LOOKED into my file which is held by the Sheriff's Office. I said (I will type slowly so you will understand) that IF you have something that was removed from my personnel file that is so damaging, then produce it.
And, since someone was so interested in why I left Wyoming, I will tell you. Was raised in the Bay Area. Got married. She had been raised in the Bay Area. Both of our families were in the Bay Area.
We decided to go to Wyoming. I became a cop in Casper. Came back 2 1/2 yrs. later for family. We missed them.

Not only does the public want to know who the bad guy's are, The bad guy's want to know who the good guy's are, The bad guy's know they can't intimidate the public that post here. Their intent is to intimidate the good guy's in LE and LESO. The bad guy's think if they can intimidate their partners both on the job and off the job, That they won't see their names or offenses posted here or on other posts. Kip Ringen was the vice president or president of a statewide union (PORAC) He had the platform and did nothing. He did nothing because he had nothing and just thought this up when he thought he could benifit his friend. For several years he was floating around Sacramento with PORAC (on our dime) meeting with very powerful people and he said nothing. How can he possibly say he feared for his career. He built a career on being vocal. An EEOC complaint has to be investigated by a federal agency. He chose to do nothing. Anything he says is suspect.

Again it doesn't matter what the association with POEAC or the DSA was with Ringen, having the "platform" in a corruption laden organization means nothing. The DSA is in Mitchells back pocket. This is how people like Mitchell and Hopkins work. You all know this, you all know why those in active service with the Mitchell organization can't and couldn't say anything.

If you people would simply acknowledge this one fact. Mitchell is corrupt, and must go, and the same with Hopkins, just that one fact. Your standing would be so much better. You can be on what ever side of the fence you want as far as the political runners for office go. But first and foremost is the need for the removal of these thugs. If you cannot even admit to that, it really doesn't matter what your opinion of Ringen, Rivero, or anybody else is because you have no credibility. I for one would be more then happy to listen to you, if you could just make that one statement.

One of the first things you learn when you become an officer in a union like the DSA is that you don't get in between rank and file members. Officers of a union are always labeled "malcontents" because the are normally anti-management, pro-employee. Ringen, having held an "officer" postion in the DSA, locally and state wide for as many years as he did, would have been labeled just this way. Management will always cry "they weren't aware" but reality is they should have been aware of the profiling. That is why they get paid the "big bucks". Gary Frace should have kept his mouth shut and should never made statements online and to the Record Bee about the profiling. He did not conduct the emergency meeting as per DSA bylaws so his statement of "adamant denial" of any profiling does NOT reflect the feelings of the 65 DSA rank and file members he is suppose to represent! It sinks of Frace being in bed with Mitchell and he will take the perks from Mitchell for himself and his buddies and the rest of you will be hanging out to dry! Oh and in defense of Ringen, to the poster who claimed Ringen went all over California for the DSA on our "taxpayer dime". Correction, FYI the DSA union payed the SO for Ringen's time away from his duties...so the "dime" you were talking about was the unions not ours.

I disagree. A police officer must be able to stand on his own. He has to stand for what is right and an officer who holds a state wide office and knows about his racism running rampant through his department just wrong. It makes me believe that it is not true. There are many deputies that just go along with the flow because they have homes and familes. They read postings from this site but don't post. It is all work place, politics BS. You find it in any group. Certain deputies are training and using profiling as a tool and it has been going on for years. In life there comes a time as a person gets older, that they see how wrong it is and the beauty of being human is that we CAN/do change. In a macho world like LE, the younger, newer, inexperenced people are going to follow the example(s) set by their superiors e.g. trainers, partners etc. Wanting and needing to get past probation, they become "pleasers" and will mimic what they see. The GOB's here have many ties to the FBI and AG's office's and many times agents/deputies from those agencie's don't use a great deal of tact and descretion when discussing with SO management the complaints made from LCS deputies. You will always hear how someone didn't follow the "chain of command". Make a complaint somewhere else and the first thing you are asked is if you have followed the chain of command. Well, what if the chain of command is screwed up? You've seen what has happened to others who tried to swim up stream, so you just keep your head down, ears and eyes open and hope someone will grow a pair and stand up and make a difference! Cowardly? Maybe but it beats the hell out of unemployment!

Lawyers are 99% dishonest? It is the individual lawyer that makes up this body that makes the laws in our courtrooms and when they haven't officers in the field that are impartial gatherers of facts and then honest lawyers and judges that is anarchy.
There are those that are honest and obey the law and aren't afriad of the retrobution that will come and that is the greatest fear of the corrupt of the LCSO who are lazy along with their counter parts in the courts. They are bullies and then they are lazy and they are on psychotropics at the local watering hole because THEY KNOW that they are breaking the law and destroying our civilization. They need to drink and then justify their own existence. They are not the brightest, but the most destructive by their very nature. We can and will change the tide and I am thankful for this site. Strides are being made and the difference will be clear. Transparency is a must and organizing to get the truth out essential. Mitchell is a cartoon and there is nothing authentic about him. He is in the chain of command and at the top of it. Does he deserve it? No. The only reason he is there is because he is willing to be a paid thug for whomever he reports to. The citizens of Lake county are complacent until they are victimized and then they galvanize and get moving. Mitchell is cocky about his "conquests" in his private life and his public life. Not everyone is laughing along. He has done more to rid this county of decent people and endanger the future of our children than any other person. He needs to go and he needs to go with only the clothes on his back. He needs to wear the Emperor's clothing and be naked to the world.

Wow..... bet the candidate nights in the coming months will be interesting. Most if not all of the "come clean" questions can't be asked at such an event. But I'm sure someone will think up something, hopefully several questions that will shed light on the true qualifications of the candidates for the various elected positions in county government, particularly DA and Sheriff. After all, isn't that we all should want, a qualified, competent candidate to run those departments? Who ever does get both of those positions down the road, will undoubtably have the impossible task of trying to please everyone. Fantastic in concept I suppose, but almost impossible in reality.

In fact people who are posting here are showing their concern for the good LE who currently have to work within the corruption of the sheriffs department and leadership. In fact if you simply went back a few posts, we talked about the good people trying to get together to forum a no confidence anonymous protest.

The Russoniello statement was taken out of context it was in reference to those not in compliance with the guidelines and other factors. Russoniello is known to be a loose canyon, and not the sharpest stick in the wood pile. He has gotten the word he knows it and he is mad about it. He already has gotten his ass in trouble once for being a big mouth, now he will do it again.

as a tax paying citizen and have had only good interactions with Our local officers from multiple agencies,I try to imagine how hard it must be to daily deal with some of the vilest people we have in our county as I listen to my scanner radio and names become famlair as they are repeaters, I know they have chosen their line of work and I admire the courage it takes to do what they do to keep the peace in our area.
Anyhow just wanted those from LE who do read not all of Us are out to get you. If you feel you need to report what is not right be sure you get the message to the one who can do something about it...and that is your decision.
 

I too appreciate the local law enforcement. They are what keeps us safe at night. Without them there would be no order at all and anarchy would follow. I have really never had a bad encounter with LE but I am not a criminal. I believe in right and wrong. If I am doing something wrong I expect to get in trouble. I got caught speeding and they told me to slow down and let me go. If they gave me a ticket, I would be mad at myself but they have a job to do and that is to keep us safe.

Persistence and accurate reporting on this blog will reap results. The names and modus of operand of the corrupt will begin to repeat again and again, as these sub humans are creatures of bad habits. Once documented and collected these events of offensive behavior and illegal activity can be effectively tied together. No one has to stand alone or unprotected.
There are hard working and diligent peace officers and even they are all too often kept in the dark about the covert activities of other law enforcement in the corrupt of the LCSO.
When all is said and done there will be a definite pattern of these thugs and they will be dealt with as a whole. It is important to get most, if not all, of the pieces of the puzzle, of the corruption, and then the culprits can be purged from the system and our lives will return to normalcy.
Retaliating on the base that these thugs have operated is NOT going to solve anything and will only make the push harder. Persistence and perseverance is the key.
 

Law enforcement as it is currently applied is based on power. The concept of power and being in a power position when performing their duties. What is causing such fear in people is we are removing their power. The technology has passed by the GOB's, we now have communications instant at our finger tips. We can communicate and form groups and ideals and begin to move the system in those directions. The GOB's are holding on to their old ways while we drag them down the new path kicking and screaming. Mad and angry, but as has been said before it is necessary to create the type of system that supports coordinated effort between the local LE/DA/local government and the public. This can be done, it requires transparency, honesty, and a whole different approach to Law Enforcement. There are many examples of this already in place.
 

I still believe that there are many many LE who do their job and follow the right path in doing so, making a difference, it is the new breed that are coming up and have learned the rules of the job. Cut them some slack just because their trainer does not does not set it in cement they will follow suit.
 

I don't think anyone here is bashing the honest LE of Lake county. They are trying to clear out the corruption so that the honest LE has a safer and saner job. Being under the gun from their employer isn't condusive of effective law enforcement for true peace officers. The corrupt of the LCSO are a conflict of interest for the honest and hard working at the LSCO.

You can't have captains without any supervisory street experience or failing to follow a direct order, lieutenant's posting sexually explicit photo's, showing deputies porn sites, pulling a gun on another, questionable off duty drinking activity and being involved in questionable activity with a helicopter. You can't have sergeant's who are non productive, not accountable for their subordinates actions or not allowing deputies to join units like SWAT based only on friendship. Another thing to look at is no manager at LCSO has ever been in the military except (Brown who was in the National Guard during peace time). There are segeant's who were in the military, but they are few.

Good post 8:57, it is very difficult to get those caught in the paradigms of their lives, to see clearly the objectives stated here. For some it is the fear of exposure, which causes such anger. For some it is because the La La land bubble of illusion they live in is being broken down. No matter what the cause you will see the typical types of posting and name calling as on any website that is trying to root out corruption in the local LE. This was and is anticipated as an effect that this exposure would have. The good solid LE in this county are some of the most supportive people on this website, I suspect that should tell you something.
 

Also post 8:51, it is true part of what we are trying accomplish is to make sure our county is ready to receive the good young solid men and women who would want to come into our local LE. What we fear now and we know has happened in the past, is the Lande's and good young cops with so much potential having been chased out of the county by the old guard. This we think has happened far to much with the likes of Mitchell and Hopkins at the helm of their organizations. Its time for that to stop, and it will as we move forward to remove these so called leaders from their positions.
 

To all followers of the blog, there will always be times when posts are removed, and there will always be those that cry tears of anguish, concerning those removals, to before you yell and scream that posts are being taken down. Go back to the rules that were established and have been re-established over the course of the last few months. As well if you look back through the postings you will see a very fair and equitable distribution of posts. The ranting posts, foul language posts, MIA posts, and simply stupid posts like banjo playing, will always be removed. We seem to be doing just fine with the citizens of the county not only participating, but approving of the operation of this important website for our county. The numbers are growing, from both the Good LE and the Bad LE who are posting on the site. It is all about the ability to post good communicative comments which have substance and the desire to improve and help our county out of this difficult situation we are in. You can throw stones all you want, but a post of just bashing this site for the sake of bashing this site is not going to fly. You can whine about it till your blue in the face and that is not going to change. Post informative post, asking open questions, and with an overall understanding of the conditions we are trying to change. If a person cannot even bring themselves to utter the words Mitchell is and has been bad for this county and the local LE, and the same for Hopkins, then one has to question the intellectual capacity of the person, not that we won't leave that post up, but really you must work through your illusions and be constructive in your comments. This site is reaping great rewards and information and we are thankful to all those who are participating in this cause.

Look, Lake County Law Enforcement is a trainig ground for agencies throughout this state. Most of the Deputies and Officers leave for better pay and benifits. NOT because of some corruption as this rag likes to report. Some just can't handle rural law enforcement. Some can't handle the fact that they are alone for a long time while the S#$% is hitting the fan. Others can't make a decision on their own and need to be told what to do. Still others just do not belong in law enforcement. Big city Law Enforcement is vastly diferent that rural Law enforcement. It has to be. I have seen both and to tell you the truth, officers who work for rural agencies are often times better police officers than big city cops. Rural cops have got to work on their own with little supervision and 15 minute back-up. City cops have a sergeant and back-up immediately,

Give these guys a break.
 

Ok, That said, we need more taxes levied so we cah hire more police. Give them a better retirement 3% @ 50 like the rest of the state and Give them better equipment and training. Pay them 6 to 10 thousand dollars a month and you will get the finest this state has to offer. The bad ones will go as they could not handle the heat the good ones put on them. But bad ones complaining about bad ones is just silly.

Reach into your pocket and pay-up. Otherwise you will just have what you got with a new hat on it.
 

Again and over and over, You must distinguish between what the goals of this site are and what you are speaking about. You can dance around the issues all you want. We will stay on point, and that will not change. This is not a discussion on the difficulties of rural vs city LE conditions. We have stated over and over, that we are talking about the fiefdom (two definitions below) That exists in this county and in the LE and DA.

When you look at the nepotism and internal connections which have caused this Fiefdom of Mitchells and Hopkins to be created you can then see why the county has gotten itself in such a condition. We do give those that are caught in this difficult working environment a break as you have said. But your post failed to correctly object to the leadership of the sheriff and DA in this county.

Neither county counsel, the BOS not others in this county will go after the sheriff the judges nor the DA. It is because there are two many toes to be stepped on and far to many unsavory connections in place. This has taken the control out of the citizens hands and removed our ability to control with justice and transparency the workings of this county. Our goal is to change that for the better.

Now for both of the above posts, are you saying that Mitchell and Hopkins are the kind of leaders you really want, and why is it so difficult for you to recognize the truth of what is being said. Do you deny the Martin connections, do you deny the corruption, really, it just doesn't exist. The Dinus trial did not happen? That is correct post 12:44, all comments are archived, we pull these up and use them as we need to investigate allegations or other requests from the public. We also let those know who are mad that a post was removed, that they can if they think it was such an amazing post request via e-mail a copy of that post. Funny no one who has had a post removed has requested a copy of the their grand expose in writing, but the offer still stands.

The private posts come in through the sheriffmitchell@gmail.com secure e-mail account. We are receiving quite a few posts from that method, and we invite all citizens to post information or if they need help in some manner to that account, if in fact you do not want it out of fear to be seen by the general public.

Freedom of speech is available through the library system and the library system needs to be protected. Free internet service is a must and many senior citizens are coming on board with the help from the good folks at the local libraries.
It is important that the facts are gathered, documented and then combined to remove the cancer that is corruption that eats away the decent law abiding citizens from our community. It empowers us all and then we make a difference pooling our powers.

In the end It is Hopkins who controls who is charged. If they are not in their back pocket they are "limited" in doing their job. Should the GJ decide to, under their " Watchdog Responsibilities #5. Inquire into any charges of willful misconduct in an office by public officials or employees." And present their report to the AG or ? Not Hopkins! Something may be done. The best hope for us is for Hopkins and Mitchell to be voted out and we demand that the new DA restore their powers to the GJ. Although It's still possible to load the jury.

They say I am a criminal and the Public Pertender's Office Dissuads the accused to a Plea Bargin.
 

They have a habit of persuading those arrested to take plea bargains! Especially if it is someone who has no clue of their rights or the law, and they don't want to get held up in a lenghly court battle, attorney fees, ect. This is one way for the county to generate money!
 

Not only that but there is an issue on the table that we are addressing currently this happened with Judge Martin, if you have a DUI or a minor infraction and you go let's say to the Tuesday court dates, in dept 2, your name will be called if it is your first appearance, and without being granted a public defender, the judge will ask if you want to take a plea bargain from the DA. The DA may say we will offer a wet and reckless, and the judge will ask you if you want to take it. Well, asking a defendant to take a pleas bargain, with out counsel to advise is illegal for the judge to do, and he does it all the time is my understanding, this to leak a little investigative activity is one of the issues concerning judge Martin we are going to be raising. There are several other much more illegal activities the judge is involved in, which we cannot mention now. But this is one of the items.

the DEA raid a couple of months ago in Upper Lake in concert with the Sheriff's department is just one of many examples of abuse committed against Lake County residents. I have been hearing a lot of negative information concerning a Mr. Hearns of the CHP and a few others in that organization but Hearns a lot. The CHP is being watched as well and there are a number of things that need to be looked at, in the area of DUI's, why they are even here, what collusion may exist between the CHP and the sheriffs office, and this goes as well for LPPD we at first had no negative concerning them but it appears some things are hidden in the closet over at the station house. Any information along those lines would as well be appreciated.

It seems that Mr. Rivero is distancing himself from Mr. Ringen. He has told members of the department that he didn't realize that Mr. Ringen had such a hatred of Sheriff Mitchell. In fact not more then a few days ago Ringen was on the blog and it wasn't about Rivero distancing himself from Rivero, so nice try, in retrospect it would seem normal with the Sheriffs and DA departments falling apart at the seams from the inside out, one might try to even the playing field from the opponents. Mitchell should be hated, and that approach is a winner in the elections, the county except for those closely allied with Mitchell will vote against him and of course Hopkins. So you will have to come up with a different approach to try and slide one by us.

Ringen and Rivero are good friends. If you think you can drive a stake between them, good luck. I work both the north and south ends of the county and have never heard Ringen or Rivero talk bad about the other. The only thing I hear is how they respect each other.

Now Ringen's mistrust for Mitchell is known by EVERYONE at LCSO, deputy and civilian alike. Can you blame him? Mitchell and his management even went after Ringen accusing him of tailgating and dishonesty. Ringen won his case, but Mitchell took the fight all the way to superior court and """"LOST""""!!! Never mind, different Wright, I read it again, other than the Sheriff and Ringen supporting the same decision at the time, no mention was made about Sheriff Mitchell having a dissenting opinion. My error on the same Sheriff portion, but Ringen and Mitchell seemed to agree on the resolution and the "UNFAIR" Sheriff Mitchell eventually promoted Ringen....How unfair is that.....Ringen must be sad that the Sheriff, (Mitchell), would not allow him to play video games on duty and actually held him accountable in performing his job. What kind of GOB Sheriff would allow Ringen to kiss of complaints of battery against his personnel and then discipline Ringen when the complaints became public? And hey Frank, or Francisco Jose Rivero, or whatever title you are using depending on the voters you are addressing; what do you plan to do to actually improve the County in place of making false accusations? If you want support, why don't you announce your grand plan? Or has Lande not written it yet? Maybe Lande is waiting for his teacher to grade it first. You three are a joke. Bring real solutions ,not made up problems. That is what the public is asking for.
 

But the problem is post 12:43 your type of posting offers nothing, it is the typical attempt at beating someone up, but as usual in your post you add nothing toward the reality of the situation. If you could just start out by saying Mitchell is a failure, as is Hopkins of course, they have been terrible leaders, and brought the county in the LE to its knees. Now once you start out with that statement you can then move on to what your solutions might be. Within the framework of Rivero's campaign, is a solid depiction of a citizens group working in concert with the local LE, review boards for overisght, and a total revamping of the corrupt system as it currently exists.

To repeat post 12:43 if you can only throw stones from your little glass house you haven't got much to offer, and if you can't even bring yourself to admit the reality of Mitchell and Hopkins you can't really say much else as you have no credibility.

Again, Lande is doing just fine in Santa Cruz, a progressive well managed sheriff department who valued young smart people coming into their force, ahhh how many good ones did Mitchell let get away to maintain his good old boys network.
 

Let me first point out that although I agree a supervisor should not be playing video games on duty, Ringen by far is not the only supervisor that did this. I can't tell you how many times I've seen Garzoli and Morshed playing on the computers. Rivero has said several times what he wants to do and it's on his website. From the small example of CPR (that Mitchell's management has not taught in 10 years, that should be done every year) to racial interaction with the community. Lande is happy in Santa Cruz. It must be very sad that a young man such as he can walk into LCSO where there is not ONE person with at least a masters degree. This might be why there is NOT ONE person in LCSO that teaches ANY law enforcement classes in the county. Did you know LCSO does not even have a DARE program for the kids? Mitchell can't even put a cop in any of the high schools and don't try and bring up retired deputy Huggins. I can tell you he only does it for the kids and if it was such a success, why not at any other school?
 

And let us not forget the supervisors like Gregore, Ski, Martin, Kenner, Ward, and the others that sit in the office for five, six and even eight hours watching tv. Why does the Sheriff's Office pay to have cable tv? And what about that stolen tv that was taken from evidence and is now being used at the Sheriff's Office in Lakeport?
 

Mitchell dumped Garzoli to try and save his plan for a "Helicopter Unit." Mitchell Put Perdock on "permanent" "leave" because with Perdock as his number "2" in comand, "I couldn't use the word MAN in the last sentence," He had absolutely NO chance in the election. Mitchell is now distancing him self from Hopkins, To try and save him self again he will blame Hopkins for everything. Retire early, Life time pay, Perdock got the best deal. If I was Garzoli I would be pis/ed.
 

What is a Golden Boy anyway?
 

A golden boy is a "kiss-ass" that a leader of an organization covets by his side as sort of his number 1 guy if you will. Mitchell has a real bad habit of changing golden boys, depending on the trouble they get themselves into. Garzoli, being pushed away by Mitchell, and of course Mitchell threw Hopkins under the bus in the Dinus trial aftermath, Mitchell does what Mitchell needs to do to keep his position, and those things under wrap that he does not want out to the general public. The sheriff department is known for its people getting into trouble and then getting early retirement or medical with life time pay etc. If Mitchell needs to get someone out of his system because they have been exposed, then he will use those means to do so. The BOS of course gives Mitchell card blanch to do what ever he wants in this regard and no one questions the legitimacy of the claims. Even though they claim they are in charge of the allocation of money to the sheriffs department.
 

I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall when Mitchell was explaining to Garzoli why they can't go steady any more and how come Perdock got to keep his engagement ring.
 

I can see it now, Mitchell saying that he will uphold the law, And Hopkins saying he will prosecute the law breakers. I was laughing so hard I almost couldn't finish the comment. LOL, LOl, Lol lol.

We have an agreement with MIA and her communications are being handled in an alternative method. We did this to help her and as well gather information. Most all know the nature and details of what she is campaigning for and about. We thought there might be a better method to use with her. She agreed to move forward in this manner. We are very grateful for her help.

Who said Mia couldn't post on this site? Perhaps she has the cards and holds them. She has the documents, lots of them, witnesses and much more. It doesn't have to be public for her, she has already given the basics. Why give the guilty party the ability to cover? We know already how good they are (naught) at cover ups.

Again and last time, we reached an agreement with MIA, try this again, we reached an agreement with MIA. To work with her offline, transfer information for investigation etc. etc. Can't make it much more clear then that. MIA has posted indicating her support for this method. In due time, her information will be brought to bear on local authorities. This is a much more efficient manner in which to deal with the huge amount of information MIA has. We are grateful for her help. For those that are concerned that "their" name and activities are embedded in MIA's information, if you are concerned then I suspect you should be.
 

Law enforcement as it is currently applied is based on power. The concept of power and being in a power position when performing their duties. What is causing such fear in people is we are removing their power. The technology has passed by the GOB's, we now have communications instant at our finger tips. We can communicate and form groups and ideals and begin to move the system in those directions. The GOB's are holding on to their old ways while we drag them down the new path kicking and screaming. Mad and angry, but as has been said before it is necessary to create the type of system that supports coordinated effort between the local LE/DA/local government and the public. This can be done, it requires transparency, honesty, and a whole different approach to Law Enforcement. There are many examples of this already in place
 

If Dinius was found not guilty of manslaughter then Perdock could have been charged with the same manslaughter charge. But because of the DUI bodily injury charge they used, that same charge can't be used againist Perdock, as long as they spun the charges like this and didn't establish Perdock to be BUI, of course because they didn't take his blood alcohol!!!! Tricky business, and that's how it works in this county eh!!!

By the way what happened to the 3 people witnesses who saw Perdock drinking at Konocti???? For those who have information on this aspect of this case come forward on this forum and give us the truth
 

X refers to a divorced man or woman. Mia was married to a sheriff, now divorced. Some say her issues are based on being nothing more than a disgruntled former wife. Not so, she has documentation for her cause. Sounds like she is finally receiving long over due support.

When someone goes on Medical or Administrative leave, Do they have to turn in their key to the evidence room?

I guess if you do have to turn in your key, There is nothing wrong with visiting with someone who has a key.
 

Mr. Perdock should not have access to the evidence room, that is medical or administrative. If you have seen any activity of this nature it would be great if you could pass it on. This would be typical illegal activity that Mitchell would claim he was unaware of happening, etc etc. Let us know if you have anything in this area.

To all that post about Dinius and Perdock: GET OVER IT !!!!!!!!!!!!! The trial is over. The statue of limitations has run. Perdock can't be charged with anything, period !!!!!!!!!!!! If Dinius wants to try and civilly sue someone, so be it. The criminal case is over. Let it die the death it deserves. I'm tired of hearing about why this and that should happen. It isn't going to change anything, so leave it the hell alone !!
 

To post 6:30 that sounds like what Mitchell and Hopkins would want. Listen this is being kept very alive because it is an integral aspect of their defeat if they choose to run in the upcoming election. You can't sweep this under the rug and "move On" not going to happen. To many things get swept under the rug. To many times the justice system has been over=ridden. Not going to happen this time.
 

Any deputy placed on Administrative Leave is relieved of their weapons, badge, ID, vehicle and ALL issued keys. They are also ordered not to go to the department without prior approval.

A deputy on Sick Leave or any other leave keeps all of their equipment (except the car) and is welcomed to drop by the office any time. Policy is that if a deputy is on vacation, he/she must leave their vehicle at the office, but this rarely happens.
 

Hey post 6:30 get a clue, this isn't just about the Dinius trial. The Dinius trial was just the lever putting into motion the need for change. Wake up, its about more then your little world of "get over it". Why don't you stand up for the citizens of this county, and recognize the need for a transparent and open relationship between the LE and the community. There is more to this then just the Dinius trial.
 

The Dinius trial was just a little excerpt to a long standing insanity that is referred to the Good Old Boys that goes unchecked because people don't believe this machine could have existed in the first place and then grew as big and corrupt as it did. It is called the Good Old Boys because it is old, but recruits new boys (and girls) and grows like cancer. It is silent and then kills the hosts and it is evident in this county that something "not right" needs to be righted. This site is a great site to gather and collect data and then piece the puzzle together. Think of it as a vaccine against cancer in your communityn and then you might be more comforatable with it and understand that ignorance is not bliss. What you don't know may indeed be what destroys you. If there is no basis for this site there wouldn't be so many people reporting. Its called transparency and the people who are following the law have nothing to fear at all IF they combine resources and collectively take inventory of the system in place. Any reputatble law enforcement agency would look forward to hearing a job well done.
It may be true that Perdock can not be charged with manslaughter, but perjury, obstruction of justice and other illegal activities if involved should be known to the public. The death of Lynn and the lack of professionalism and concern of the DA and Mitchell himself is an indicator of the out of kilter "justice" system. There are ethics and morals and common decency can not be legislated. Anyone's lying and cheating and stealing may not be prosecutable because the injured party is reduced to helpless, but that doesn't make it moral, ethical, OR prosecutable by default. It is wrong. When the GOB hold all the cards in this insidious game there is no gamble. Only a win for the wrong reasons. Its a game for losers.

As everyone knows at this point this site and how it is managed is secure to all those who are posting comments. There is no tracking mechanism, and most all who are on this site understand that. That having been said, it appears that no matter how or when the Frace/Dutra name is mentioned this along with Garzoli and many others seems to be a recipe for trouble. Lets put it this way, currently there are investigations going on pin-pointed at several folks. Frace, Dutra, Garzoli, and a host of other LE individuals, At this point what appears to be the most interesting aspect of this, is how over the years everyones name and who they are is known by a great deal of the community. So information gathering is far easier then one would expect. This is because over the years living in their own little corrupt world they forget to be careful watch who knows what, and simply threw their power around out in the open. Thus now it is amazing how many people are coming forward to give us information, the lack of caution has now set up a situation where everyone is running scared because they realize how many people know who they are and what they have done, oh my, the past is coming back to haunt you!!! Karma is a bitch.
 

True post 9:31, if anyone was wondering how so many people in LE and the DA and the Judges can be in such collusion with each other, you simply have to look at the inter-connections and the nepotism that is in place in this county. You have more conflict of interest then should ever have been allowed, but this is how a corrupt system is put in place. No fear of punishment due to the inter-connections. However this now comes back to haunt these people because we have family connections/marriages/etc who are reporting on each other!!! It's amazing to see how this is coming back around. However one of the most difficult things to deal with, is the fact no one wants to do a thing about it, for fear of the connections, for example how hard is the BOS or county counsel going to go after Judge Martin(by the way we are) with every other position in the county and LE having some family connection to Martin. So as you can see this is a generational process that has taken place over many years, it has pluses to an investigation and negatives when you try to get people to act on something.
 

Seroiulsy. You are complaining about relatives hired by the county. I want you to take a drive around the lake and tell me what you see. THE GENE POOL IS NOT THAT DEEP. Of course there is going to be family ties employed at the largest employer in the county you idiot. So far no one has proven any corruption. You are just rfeporting what you heard from someone who spoke to someone who thinks they know something.

Speaking of relatives I'm wondering if the Records Department clerks at the SO are related to anyone from the SO or DA's office. I'm sick and tired of being treated like I'm seconds class because I have a need for documents under their control. Employees from any company should not be allowed to ack like they will never be held accountable for their rudness and lack of simple manners.

Also, my father was a police office, my brother and several nephews chose LE. I'm not a LE hater and have respect for many of our local LE men and women. I'm tired of the corruption within the SO and DA's office because I know it brings down moral within and denies Justice For All.
